CVS Pharmacy

Started filling my prescriptions online because it’s just too frustrating to try to work with the pharmacy who always seems to have an excuse or reason why their job is someone else’s problem.

OK hate to have to update this so soon after giving them a little bit of a pass but I had another RX sent in electronically by my Dr’s office last Friday and I noticed I never got a text update saying I had an RX being filled or one being ready for pick up so I called and they didn’t have a record of it.
I know my Dr sent it in because when speaking to them about it with them I asked a question about how it was being filled and they had to look at the RX in order to answer it.
Called my Dr’s office and told them what CVS said, same thing as a few days ago a few hours later I get a call back saying they are sure they sent it in but they called CVS to make sure and got the same story as I got from CVS so they verbally gave it to them again.
I’m done with this location.

Although the drive through gets busy during prime hours (like 5pm), I find that at any CVS. It’s still convenient to have that option and the girl who waited on me was so knowledgeable that I was really impressed.

Always find the pharmacy staff helpful and courteous, even when they are swamped (which is most of the time)

Absolutely AWFUL customer service in the pharmacy! They left me on hold for 45 minutes at 11:00 at night and then told me to call back in a half an hour because they were BUSY… after all that they informed me that they couldnt help me with my question. I will be getting my perscriptions at a different pharmacy from here on out.

It was a CVS. We went in and bought some things and they were ok prices, nothing remarkable. They had everything we needed, and we were off the line and paid after a minute or two.

The prices here are not that good — you can get whatever you need at much cheaper prices at any of the neighborhood grocery stores. None of the good Easter candy ever makes it to half price, either. They also don’t know the meaning of «have more than one cashier up front when there’s a line» queueing theory.
This CVS is better than the one in Mohegan Lake because you can get birthday cards en español.
