Good, clean location. Honestly, I try my best to avoid any and all GameStops if I can help it. My experiences with the company in general have been poor — from giving you next to nothing for a trade in and scamming you that way, to the staff and pricing — I have always preferred to shop elsewhere — anywhere — making GameStop a non-choice. A friend of mine needed to go to GameStop and I tagged along to this location reluctantly. I’m not the gamer like I was in my youth(I just don’t have the time anymore), but I am aware of some things and of course have some systems. While my friend looked around for what he wanted to get, I decided to browse around. This location was pretty clean. GameStops in general are usually well kept, but in here seemed just«cleaner». The selection was as good as it gets in GameStop — but also still playing the«favorites» — or shall I say the«popular» or «new». Yes, I know that some systems are considered«dead» and the newest ones are the priority — but you’d think if they at the very least had a shelf of some older system games like PS2 or Gamecube, they just might make a sale or appeal to more customers than just the«new». I still have both of those systems(and older) and I’m always looking at adding new titles — but I guess I won’t be spending money at GameStop for those said titles. And I know that retail stores generally don’t carry older system games — but this IS GameStop’s specialty, so you’d think they’d have a full selection of all… not just the new. I refuse to get the brand new systems until they are price reduced. So while some may have a PS4, I won’t overpay while I am still content with my PS3 and I’ll just simply wait until the PS4(and new systems like that) are predictably price reduced a year or so later. But this place did have a decent enough selection of used and new games for PS3, so I had something to look at. The prices ranged as predicted. GameStop can be pricey. I found 1 title I had been looking for used, so I decided to give it a try as long as I was able to look at the disc. The problem with pre-played games and the people who sell them are that not everyone takes care of their stuff equally. While the disc was actually good and not full of scratches, the game case was dirty and worn. Not a problem as I replaced it easily — but GameStop should be at the very least be cleaning these things upon giving pennies for them and selling them for a lot more. And how about not accepting scratched up discs as well while we’re at it. And also, stop sticking price stickers all over the games! But that’s all locations and one of the reasons why I don’t patronize GameStop’s generally. This location though, I would return to. «Jeffery» was friendly and helpful. So even if you’re not a fan of GameStop overall, this location is something to consider if you change your mind.
