Haven’t had any issues here. Store is always clean, folks are nice, they have had what we needed all the time. Typical grocery store.

I think this grocery store gets a bad rap. The employees are always kind. The store is airways clean. They keep the vegetables well stocked and offer a variety. The only reason I can’t give it five stars? The parking lot smells like butt. It’s so horrendous, you have to remember to hold your breath!

Eh. We are shopping here currently because of the Market Basket strike and it’s pretty underwhelming. Some of the aisles seem impractically narrow and the selection is unimpressive compared to Market Basket. And the parking lot is weird and poorly designed. The only real plus is that we were able to buy wine without going to a separate store.

The selection is poor compared to any other Hannaford I’ve ever visited. The aisles at the back of the store are too narrow. Two carts can’t pass one another in the natural foods section.

This place NEVER has the meats I need. The food is expired a lot of the time, Including mustard! Really? Way over priced as well. I leave there with barely any food and I’m poor. Awful! Staff is friendly. I wish we had a Market Basket. I have been to other Hannaford’s and they are much nicer.

Hannafords seem to have popped up just about everywhere, except in my own town.(Salem.) I stopped into this one recently, after a job interview, since it was on the way. The last time I’d been inside this store, it was still Victory Supermarket. The only ‘victory’ involved with that store was getting out in one piece; Calling it ‘run down’ is being extremely polite: This place was more of a dirthole than Purity Supreme and Custo’s combined.(My Mom used to call it ‘Disgusto’s’, but that’s another story.) Victory had a cool beer aisle, but I didn’t want to put my stuff on the conveyor belt at the checkout, because it was always covered with puddles of sticky crud. Hannaford, though, is much much nicer. I was able to buy everything I wanted to buy for less than 25 bucks, and a lot of things were on sale. I often hear people refer to it as ‘Cantaffords’; I’m not sure why this is. Some of my family members shop their other locations, and now I can see why. Not a bad place, and if you don’t like what’s in the beer or wine section, don’t worry: The State Liquor Store is right next door. Talk about one stop shopping.
