My son suggested we go here a week or so ago. I tried to suggest several other options to no avail so I reluctantly agreed. This place is bad and it continues to get worse with every visit. The food is terrible and so is the service. I do not understand how it is still operating. I honestly think I got food poisoning! I got sick after eating there. I will not return and I would not recommend this place to anyone!

It wasn’t good. They gave my kids runny strawberry other happy face made a sad face. Brought me hot tea. Food was mediocre should’ve went to Golden Corral. Then waited 15 minutes just to pay for my meal in a line who does that

I recently ate at this establishment with a couple of friends, needless to say I’m relatively new at reviewing diner establishments and would if never done so if it wasn’t for the experience I had in their food. I love the whole pancake and breakfast food concept, seems to have really worked for them. Anyway I ordered the Strawberry Pancakes which we’re delicious. The berries tasted as ripe as they could and the bananas seemed to be freshly picked from the healthiest trees in the Philippines. I had no quarrel with my main dish but the issues arose when I choose to place a side order of mashed potatoes. Maybe I’m over reacting but as a self-proclaimed aficionado of mashed potatoes I was greatly offended by what was offered to me on a small round plate. I’ve eaten and tried mashed potatoes from many fine establishments across the greater part of Birmingham and even across the south eastern states. BUTWOWZERS, these were hardly mashed let alone DOUBLEMASHED. The pearly white color that a hot plate of mashed potatoes should have was instead of a light yellow hue, the taste was a whole other crisis. They were a combination of Elmer’s glue stick with a hint of light butter on them. Yes, I referenced Elmer’s glue cause of the intriguing taste I had for it back in the pre-k days of my life. Given it was around 1am when I experienced this treacherous plate of so called«mashed potatoes» but I guess I wrong to believe this would be prime time for them to cook. I would eat at this particular IHOP again but fair warning stay away from the MASHEDPOTATOES!!!

Absolutely the WORST service I have ever received! Our waitress, Gabby, didn’t bring our water till 45 minutes after we ordered. And the place was empty. Our hot chocolate, more like cold chocolate, was nasty. Literally just walked out and went to the Hoover IHOP down the road. We received our water and hot chocolate within 5 minutes. Please save yourself the trouble and don’t go here unless you want to age 5 years waiting for your food.

I was pleasantly surprised at this IHOP. Our waitress seemed like she actually enjoyed her job and really played along with our rowdy group that was there. Let’s be honest and say this type of food is a bit tough to mess up. Everyone in the group had breakfast food and I heard no complaints.

Not too shabby. This place is usually busy so prepare for a little wait or delay in getting your food. You have been warned so don’t complain. Food is good, par for the franchise course.

Food is okay, just be careful not to have a run-in with the creepy guy that runs it. He is an asshole! I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here but if you need something open all night on the weekends, this will work.

It’s IHOP and I wasn’t getting my IHOPES up about the experience. I am waffle house fan to the core but a friend of mine wanted some pancakes. We hit up the place at lunch. Friendly manager/host. Our waitress was friendly. She did forget our utensils until we asked for them. She did recover from that by helping us mix and match our orders to get what we wanted at the cheapest price possible. I had the chicken fajita omelet with swiss instead of the assorted shredded cheese. It was ok. The coffee is lackluster, but at least it was hot compared to past experiences. If your friend wants pancakes for lunch, then it’s an easy place to be a lunch time wingman.

Considering it is IHOP, not bad. We were headed back to Florida for the long late night drive and wanted some food and overload on coffee. So we were happy to find out that this location was open at 1:30am(it’s open 24 hours just on Fridays & Saturdays). Of course there were only a handful of people there at this time. Do we were seated quickly. Server was friendly and prompt. I have to admit that I have only eaten at an Ihop about 4 times my entire life. But I always get some plate that includes the Harvest Nut & Grain pancakes. So this time I got a Blueberry nut grain pancakes with egg whites and turkey bacon. The butter pecan syrup is yummy!

Busy yet no wait at 11am on a Thursday. Pleasant, well trained staff. When I ordered a side of hashbrowns the waitress asked if I’d like to substitute the pancakes for them. Great customer service… bad for the average ticket. For once the little guy wins!!! The store is clean and intact… no need of repairs are apparant. I found a way to get what I wanted, cheat and yet feel good about it! Spinach, mushroom omelette. Spinach, mushrooms and eggs are good for you… the hollandaise sause isn’t… 3 good verses 1 bad equals«Serve it up, Marge» in my book! The spinach was fresh and provided a crisp green flavor. The mushrooms were plentiful and they didn’t go nuts with the Hollandaise as I would have. Diced tomatos on top really pulled this dish together. I give them a 3 because the service was a bit slow at times and I had to wait to pay my bill. A fine place to go without any major problems.
