Not for the pizza but, whenever I come home(born and raised in Pelham) from San Diego, I do my best to stop in and grab a Spaghetti. It’s the best in Pelham and I like to support the local business. It’s a real basic«Town house of Pizza» style place. It gets the job done and they’re always busy so something must be going well after all of these years.

I really enjoy the food here, but better than that I enjoy the people that work there, They really get to know you, and remember what you do and don’t like. Don’t waste your time ordering or picking up food anywhere else. Try the fried mushrooms!

The pizza and subs are fine but don’t expect anything more. The pizza crust and style are reminiscent of your average 1985 pizza joint. In terms of the rest of the menu, they just don’t have the customer-traffic flow to move through these items and still maintain quality. These other items are typical frozen goods sold to all pizza shops. Unfortunately the quality does not match the price. Everything that I’ve had including plates, seafood, pizza, and subs have been on the scale of «just OK» to outright disappointing. I’d like to see the new young owner bring it up a notch and focus more on quality rather than quantity.

When I want a calzone, I order from Pelham. The generous size and volume of toppings in it make this a great deal. One thing to note about Pelham House is that it has a backup generator, so when the power goes out, this place stays open!

Bare-bones pizza joint, with good cheese and good crust. It’s not fancy, but it’s tasty and the prices are good. Exactly what I want out of a local pizza place.

Bad pizza, mediocre subs… Geeez The only way you would think pizza like this was good was if you never left southern nh and had frozen as your only point of comparison.

I’ve ordered from Pelham House of Pizza(PHOP) for takeout since it’s convenient, the price is right, and the service has been good. The place is a small«hole» in a strip plaza(Family Dollar) at the Bridge St(NH38) and Willow Street intersection behind. The place has a lot of green colors and is order at the counter with a few tables for eating in and a flatscreen TV. There are also copies of The Salem Observer to read. The menu offerings include pizza, pizza calzones, subs, sandwiches, pasta dinners, seafood, salads, Wachusett chips, and Coke products. See the menu at (Note, prices slightly higher now). I find the pizza is just okay. The crust is crispy outside with a dry texture inside and the amount of toppings and cheese are very modest. I’ve had better pizza locally. What brings me here is the lasagna dinner with eggplant, which is very good, served with a small green salad(iceberg, cucumbers, carrots, & cup of oil dressing) and buttery baked garlic bread(sub roll) and priced under $ 10 with tax. This is a good sized piece(baked in a 8“x5.5″ foil container) with layers of firm noodles, a good mixture of ricotta cheese filling, and sweet breaded eggplant slices(inside), a good tomato sauce and plenty of browned melted cheese on top, This is a enough lasagna for one big dinner or two«right sized» lunches.
