Carter’s Babies & Kids

Second time I walk in this store and all staff is chaotic and stressed. They speak among themselves regarding stocking items and personal issues. The first time, okay I can handle that but this last time I walked in with the intention to go on a shopping spree for my little man and the staff was rude and inattentive. At one point, all staff was at the register talking about non work related stuff when we needed help. And when I went to ask for help, it seemed like I was bothering them to do their job. Oh sorry, but damn I think I’m asking you to do what you’re there for: YOUR JOB!!!
The one cashier was just plain bothered when we finally went to pay. She had a caca face (attitude face) and was very rude to a simple question my mom asked. «YEA!» She replied. She really shouldn’t be working in retail. But oh wait, as soon as her buddy (who didn’t buy nothing and came to socialize) came in to chat with her, that frown turned upside down. She was very attentive then. One girl did help but I really shouldn’t have to ask and beg for help if y’all got your shit together. I’ve work in retail before. C’mon now. Another girl was trying to help but the energy in this place is blah!!! Other customers also complained when I made a comment out loud and they heard us. Your clothes is cute but damn Carter’s, check out the staff. Get workers that want to work and not be rude to people. Not acceptable. And it’s a family store and you have rude workers??? I think I’ll be buying online going forward.

If you treat me like royalty I will keep coming back, straight up. The lady at the register remembered me from 2 ½ years ago. Crazy but true. I went into the location to get something for my adorable 1 month old nephew. I ask hey do you have any outfits that scream out Auntie? Although on the register helping a customer the girl told me to give her a minute. She immediately came to my aid once finished, and showed me about five outfits. She then suggested outfits for my child and told me they go up to a size 6x, she’s currently in 4t. I didn’t know that. All in all, she went out of her way for me and was very nice. Love going to friendly places.
