I live across the street and originally thought it would be very convenient to have this salon across because I get my nails done every 2 weeks. The owner is a stuck up, middle aged Asian lady. She looks you up and down when you first walk in… She also ASKS if you want to leave tip on the card if you choose to pay debit/credit before she charges you. To me, that’s just rude… You don’t ask the customer if they are going to leave a tip. Tip is something you voluntarily offer for good service. Anyway, she’s not the best masseuse either. Weak hands and I did not feel more relaxed by the end of the hour I paid for. You should go to the Pembroke Commons plaza next door(where the Lowe’s and CVS is) and go to Sue’s Nails, instead. Ask for Kristy(make an appointment for weekends), Susan, or the owner, Sue. They are all good. :) Also, for the massage, you should go down the street 2 blocks(on the other side of University Blvd) to College Plaza and see any of the masseuses at Yin Yang Massage. All much better alternatives in terms of price and service quality and within 2 blocks of THIS place. YOU’REWELCOME. :)
