Susan was my waitress and she gave me an excellent service. From the moment I walked in I was extremely satisfied and the food was yummy. I will come back with friends next time.

Best pizza around! We like fresh sausage and mushroom for toppings. It’s always so busy, we just order ahead and take out. In it’s new location near Fresh Market, it’s easy to pick a nice bottle of red all in the same trip.

I love this place. Our food was delicious. The pizza was just right. Not overly done or burned. The garlic rolls melt in your mouth. The Italian hot sub was perfect and the staff was delightful. A must for pizza.

I have always had great food when i have eaten here. I have enjoyed the pizza every time I ordered it and my wife from New Jersey who always talks about not being able to find real pizza approves. Their sandwiches are outstanding and I have never been disappointed with anything I have had. What ever you decide to order make sure you get some garlic rolls to go with it. The only thing that would make this place better would be if they delivered but I will get by. If you come for dinner prepare to wait for a table if you get there after six.

It has taken the place in my heart for the old Johnny G’s. Love the garlic roles. We usually go about once a week. Menu is very good from pizza to pasta or chicken parm. Service is usually pretty good. I will admit I like having certain wait staff.

Friday 4÷1÷2016 Looking for a new pizza place to celebrate are glorious pizza friday tradition we chose to start off the new silly month with John The Baker! It’s a medium sized businesses, is equip with one of the nicest servers I’ve had the pleasure of being with, that good fellow’s name is Tony. The music was a little low for me to hear, I got to color and that’s always a fun way to pass the time while you wait for your meal. The world famous garlic rolls were just $ 3.00, they had a nice fluffy exterior. The top layer was crunchy, while the sides had a delicate soft chew, it was so sweet I like to think of it as candy bread. We ordered John The Baker Special for 12.00 dollars. Now Depending on how the dish is cooked you may have to eat the slices quicker then your usual. Are cheese kept sliding off, that was ok because under the sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, green peppers and cheddar is a whole lot of fresh buttery salty spice! We were told John The Baker uses homemade sauce for there pizzas. I gotta tell ya it was no April Fools joke! I ate everything on that pizza but the anchovies. I was going to try something new, as soon as I caught sight of it’s little features I couldn’t help myself to eat it! I don’t know how swallow falls could eat that stuff. I give John The Baker 3 out of 5 toppings, the cheese just wouldn’t stay on.

We ate dinner here on Tuesday night with the in laws. $ 9.95 large pizza special(2), garlic rolls(9), veal Parmesan sandwich, Spaghetti and meatballs and 2 house salads. The result was happy faces on 6 full customers!!! Fast service with a smile. Pizza crust is thin and rivals any NY place. I’m Italian and found their dressing to be authentic, pizza is delicious and the best I ever had. The garlic rolls are AMAZING!!! See you guys again on our next trip down from VA!

Been going to John the Baker for at least 15 years. LOVE John and Patty. Rolls are the best garlic rolls in town and their Greek salad is also. the bomb. Charitable people, always helping out schools.

Buongiorno! Well for starters John the Baker definitely ain’t no Papa John’s. It’s a family run business tucked away towards the end of Pembroke Pines. The atmosphere is super welcoming and comfortable due to its high ceilings and spacious seating area. I came in for a late lunch and was able to order their lunch special. I had a personal 9″ pizza with pineapple that came with 2 garlic rolls and my mom had the spinach cannelloni. Both really hit the spot for a savory craving. The pizza’s crust was just the right amount of crunchy and the amount of cheese was just right amount of cheesy~(I recommending ordering pizza without tomato sauce) The cannelloni was something I never tried before. It was a tortilla-like skin wrapped around cheese and spinach baked with tomato sauce. I combined a little cannelloni with my pineapple pizza. The sweetness of the pineapple complemented the savory spinach nicely! Last but not least, THEGARLICROLLS! Hand down, the best I have any in any Italian restaurant. The flavor or garlic is nice and strong. The crispy outside and chewy inside make these rolls unbeatable! We ordered a dozen to take home. only $ 5! Our waitress was super friendly and hospitable to us. She patiently explained what a cannelloni was when I asked her and brought us the freshly baked batch of rolls for our to-go order. I think I’ve found my go-to cheat meal pizzeria ~

Well I gave it another try. I have picked up the food for take out twice before but thought we would try dine in. They are so close I really wanted the problems to have gone away. They have not. 12÷21÷15 five of us went in early for dinner something like 5:30pm as it was still light out. The place only had a few people in there. We ordered drinks but the wire they were advertising at every table was sold out. We ordered out food. Baked food and some simple things like a meatball sub and bow tie macs, with alfredo sauce. They food came pretty quick except for the sub and the bow ties. The rest were finished eating before the rest arrived at the table. We had it boxed to go. So I ask, in an empty restaurant, is it too much to ask to have everything arrive in time so we could all eat at the some time? Three strikes they are out. It’s a shame because they are SOOO close to our house.

This time i went for the lasagna: Excellent! Some of the very best!!! I keep coming back for more. The garlic rolls have no comparison. They are the best, hands down! The pizza is thin crust which makes it perfect

The food is fantastic! The Cannoli is to die for and so are the garlic rolls. My friends had a cheese pizza and a side of sausage(which was covered in marinara sauce). They seemed to really enjoy their food. I also had a cappuccino and it was average(I’ve had better). Now for the service. HORRIBLE! Our waitress forgot everything. She forgot my friends beer 3 times and charged him for the beer that he never received. I paid my bill(you pay at the cash register) and half way to my car my waitress runs out and tells me I never paid my bill. Thank god I saved my receipt because I had to show her that I had paid my bill. Very disorganized. Pros: Great food. Cons: Terrible service.

I can’t believe I’ve been to Pembroke Pines and have never been to this pizzeria. We ordered the Hawaiian and the John the Baker pizza. The service was pretty good, but the thin crust really made the experience. Unfortunately, the dessert wasn’t very good. I truly look forward to the Tiramisu but it was frozen– it was intended for takeout. We also ordered a cannoli and I wasn’t impressed, but it’s like any other cannoli. Overall it was a good experience with friends.

John the Baker, a family run Italian sensation! For as long as I could remember my father would take the family out to eat John the Baker pizza and garlic rolls and that created an imprint on me. Every pizza I’ve ever eaten was always compared to Johns. Located off the corner of Flamingo and Sheridan, you’ll find this amazing spot. Parking is a breeze usually steps away from the entrance. You’ll walk in and be seated almost immediately(certain nights it’s a little bit of a wait, roughly 20 – 30 mins) Place is simple but chic at the same time… Imagine modern with a little traditional and thats what you get. Garlic rolls are a MUST and inexpensive, a dozen for $ 5?! Yes… Make it two dozen… Why stop there?! Eat ALLROLLS!(Just kidding, that’s bad advice) but definitely order the rolls, they’re crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside :) The pizza is also great! I’m a simple person, pepperoni or cheese only, I don’t like a heavy pizza. The crust is New York style which is always important, at least for me. Don’t forget to order dessert, they have Cannolis that will make your mouth and belly very happy!

Classic family Italian restaurant! The food is incredible, service is always on point and the garlic rolls… oh man. A friend of ours grew up eating here and introduced us to this place a few years ago. We’ve been hooked ever since! The baked ziti with ricotta is a favorite of our group! Pizza, eggplant parmigiana and salads are also on our regular rotation. As mentioned before, the garlic rolls are amazing! Get here early as there usually is a little bit of a wait during prime times. But the owner can be seen passing out free roll samples to his hungry customers waiting outside to make the wait more bearable. What a great place!
