Amazing ice cream! Shout out to the ONE employee who had to take care of the line that formed out the door, and didn’t seem to die down. She held the fort down! That did make the wait really long, though. So boo to her coworker who never showed.

I was kinda disappointed in this location. I am normally a huge fan of Kilwins but this location is small and lacking a lot of the yummy Kilwins goodies that I look for when I go. The Delray and Lake Worth locations are the best…

As you walk in you may be overcome by the smell of sweet chocolaty goodness, but you are going to have to dig a little deeper into your pocket for a treat at Kilwin’s. They offer ice-cream(my favorite flavors are toasted coconut and superman), several flavors of fudges, and tons of unique chocolate treats that are priced by weight. I have ordered many of the standard chocolates and also some of the more unique flavors. I recently saw that they offer chocolate covered twinkies. I’ve never tried them, but one of my faves are their chocolate covered orange peels. Prices are a bit steep, but maybe that’s a good thing or I’d be visiting everyday. ;)

Expensive, but a treat. I love the milk chocolate macadamia nut turtles. Sometimes they don’t make them, though. The ice cream is also really yummy. Candy is sold by the pound, but you can buy just 1 or 2 of something, if you prefer.

It’s a chocolate store that also sales ice cream. It’s a nice place and the stuff aren’t bad, but I had better.

Let’s see, $ 4.50 for a scoop of ice cream in a cup(actually half a scoop) and for a topping, service with an attitude. Took three members of my family there, waited for 10 minutes for service and paid $ 15 for ice cream that tasted about the same as Baskin Robbins. As for the attitude & wait time, there was only 1 person working so I suppose he was pissed being stuck there by himself. I don’t blame him, I blame poor staffing decision by management. Bottom line, won’t be going there again.

Ohhh it’s sooo good. Soooooo good. You can’t go wrong here. They have ice cream, fudge, chocolates, etc. I had a cone of their chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream last weekend and it was heavenly. I first tried Kilwin’s on vacation in Highlands, N.C. years ago and ever since I have to stop in at any Kilwin’s I come across. They just do it right.

I think there are few desserts that can beat the combination of Kilwin’s magnificent toasted coconut ice cream and decadent hot fudge. I’d probably sell my first born child for this heavenly treat. I actually drive all the way up here to have this and mind you I hate being in the car for more than ten minutes at a time. I will sit on the expressway for the thirty minutes it takes to get here. If that isn’t a testament to how wonderful this place is then I don’t know what is.

We recently tried a new Kilwin’s creation, the cupcake sundae. I had the«regular size» sundae with warm strawberry cupcake, strawberry chunk ice cream and cream cheese icing. It was a friggin strawberry ecstasy. Perfect portion for one person and enough cupcake, icing and ice cream to get a bit of each into every bite. My husband had the«large» size sundae with the warm chocolate cupcake with chocolate toasted coconut ice cream and dark chocolate icing. He loved it, but ran out of cupcake and icing and had quite a bit of icecream left over. Really, we could have split one large cupcake sundae between us, but ended up taking the rest of his ice cream home instead. Kilwins leftovers, woohoo!

YUM!!! I picked a chocolate dipped rice krispie treat(it had just been dipped and the milk chocolate was still really gooey– yum!) & my husband ordered the toasted coconut fudge. So delicious!!! I don’t know why we wasted our time eating sushi at RA b/c I really could have eaten dinner here! Oh, and the owner was extremely nice! That’s always a big plus. :)
