After spending 2 hours and $ 200 here today, instead of walking out feeling confident and relaxed, I am in tears. The hairstylist took it upon herself to cut some bangs around my face. She didn’t consult me first because she was too busy talking to a coworker. My hair doesn’t do bangs well which I would have told her if given the chance. This was after being forgotten about at the wash station and never being offered anything to drink (which is very minor but annoying). I don’t spend the time or money on myself much since I had my son and I am so disappointed.
Updated to add that I also have what looks and feels like a bad sunburn from whatever the wash lady used to get the dye off my skin. She literally scrubbed my skin off. Worst salon experience I’ve ever had.

I started going to Maggie The Salon when my favorite hair stylist (Alex) left her old location and began working here. I loved the look of the salon from the moment I walked in. Everyone was very friendly and the area was very clean. I loved their up to date hair washing stations! I have never seen ones like this before and they were ridiculously comfy! You can tell the salon keeps up on the new trends and new equipment to keep their customers feeling at ease. Maggie The Salon is Lucky to have such a hair artist working there! Alex is amazing at creating color and cuts! She listens to what you want, talks about options and the outcome leaves you nothing but satisfied. Great Salon!

I just moved to Florida and went to this salon based on the reviews. The service was amazing. Everyone was very attentive and courteous. Joanna was my colorist and stylist and she was phenomenal! She really listened to what I wanted and then offered recommendations based on her expertise. No wonder this salon is good and has won so many awards. All the stylists are required to take continued education so clients can receive the latest and greatest treatment! This was a 25 min drive from my house and I will gladly keep making the hike! Ask for Joanna, she was fabulous!

I was charged $ 45 for a hair cut — that is surely pricey. Mary did gave a good hair cut. My daughter was quoted $ 120 for hair color and blow dry by Mary. Today she went to get the color and was charged $ 160. When asked she was told the quote was only for color. Didn’t want to argue so just paid. That was really a bummer as we clearly remember Mary saying need to blow dry after color so we can see how the color turned out.
3 star solely based on pricing not the service provided.

I always enjoy going to Maggies and Love going to see my stylist Mary! I appreciate that I can brainstorm different ideas on color/​cut/​style with her. If i come up with a concept she will advise the best way for it to happen. And as always im super happy with the Results! The salon is clean and the other staff are friendly as well.

I called today because I really had an issue with my hair. I hadn’t been to Maggie in years. Donna smith was a perfect fit for me. I called to request someone who could give me a stylish cut.

pre my going Natural and wearing my hair in a sometime unmanageable afro I went to Maggie Salon for the one and only Kelli. I would joke she is the only non-​African hairstylist I trust with my hair. Kelli knows her stuff and I never left feeling anything but fabulous!

Love Kelli Yoder. Wonderful stylist and hair colorist gets tons of compliments on color. Friendly staff, best shampoo girl.

This is a little late! But I went to Maggie’s for my prom preparations and that was the best decision I made! They have the friendliest staff! I believe Chris did my hair and not only is he wonderful at what he does, he is the biggest sweetheart! Jackie is AMAZING! I wasn’t to sure what I wanted to do for my makeup and Jackie gave me some ideas after seeing my dress. I trusted her and she absolutely worked magic! I love Jackie! I know for any occasion, I will make my way towards Maggie’s and you should definitely do the same!

After reading all the good reviews I made an appointment for a haircut. What a huge disappointment. The Salon and people were nice. The hairdresser was cordial, but the haircut is simply awful. I waited to wash and style my hair twice before leaving a review. I have to be honest, it’s just a bad cut.
I was really disappointed with my haircut not once but twice. It’s my fault for going back. I should have known better than to go back the second time. I thought maybe it was just the first stylist, so on my return I booked a cut and dry with someone else. Disastrous results.
I spend $ 75 for a cut and dry which is very expensive and I am so upset that my hair is cut so poor. I really expected a lot better haircut from this place after reading the reviews. I am very disappointed.

I went here to get my hair cut after reading good reviews. But as soon as I took my hair out of the pony tail, I knew the girl wouldn’t know what to do with it. I have naturally curly hair and she seemed at a loss, which I find upsetting because you would think stylists would know how to do every type of hair. She did not communicate with me very well and cut my hair too short, way shorter than I asked for. As for the wash and blow dry, I had to go home and fix all of her mistakes with a flat iron myself. Cheap and not worth it.

This is a great salon! Everyone there is always friendly and professional. Mary did an amazing job styling my hair today. I wanted to keep my length long, and she was able to blend new layers and trim the ends without taking away the length. An added bonus is the shampoo scalp massage. She was amaaazing!

After going back and forth between different salons in the area according to Unilocal reviews i chose to make my appointment with Maggie the Salon. Just went in for the first time, made my appointment with Kathy for mani/​pedi. I was greeted nicely by everyone. I got a shellac manicure, since it was my first time getting shellac Kathy was nice enough to walk me through it and made me feel comfortable. Prices are reasonable. They gave me complementary wine. I was not able to book a haircut appointment the same day, but i met my hairstylist (Christina) who ill be seeing tomorrow. So far so good!

Was my first time here with my son who wanted a few highlights in his hair and I was in for color and cut. Was happy with the amount of time spent listening to my wants and concerns and after a short consultation went over to the area they do the color in. I love how they have it set up in a kind of round bar area. Then off to shampoo and to her chair for the cut and blow dry.
The way it works here is you pay by level of experience 1 being the least 4 being the most. I had a level 4 while my son had 1, I mean how hard could a few highlights be right?
I kept asking her to layer more and for some reason she kept saying she couldn’t when I knew she could being I have had the same style for the past 6 years! Color was nice and more or less what I asked for but for some reason the majority of the highlights were buried under my hair so it is impossible to see unless I wear my hair up.
My sons was not what we expected because he didn’t use foils, so it just looked like one giant clump of color instead of having his color in between.
Love the modern look of the place, it was clean and comfortable. People were pleasant and friendly and it had a good vibe. I will give it another shot but I won’t send my son back to the same guy.

If you have NOT had your facial with Kathy, you have not experienced what a facial truly is. This facial was such a treat. Kathy was extremely patient and gentle to the touch. Her products are the BEST and the way she explains everything to you, really gives you an understanding of what she is Doing.
I enjoyed this facial.
May I add, Kathy does eyebrows, mani and pedi’s!!!

The salon is beautiful & I could tell that there were very talented artists there, but my experience was subpar.
In the salon’s defense, I cut my bangs VERY short before coming in here. Not even 24 hours had passed since my sabotage at home, and I needed to get it fixed. I called Maggie’s at last minute, and they were able to fit me in. I asked for a cut & blow dry which came out to $ 50.
I was rather unimpressed with my cut, having gotten layers for years and being able to form an unbiased opinion. I hadn’t cut my hair in 6 months because I was looking to let it grow. I informed my stylist that I did not want to cut much from the bottom length, but that I would like to some layers around for some body. She did listen to me in terms of length, but the layers that I wanted all over my head did not happen. I only had two layers, and my hair looked the same (which is great for the length I wanted, but there was no style). When it came time for her to fix my bangs, she called another stylist over who assisted her in what should be done. Aside from a little sliver of a cut, my bangs looked exactly the same– jagged, short, and uneven. I understand that they were short and needed to grow, but I do not understand why they did not even them out so they could at least grow in decently. I had to go to another salon the next day to cut my hair again, and now I am happy.
The staff was sweet, but the low-​rating is being given because my stylist knew I wasn’t happy. She just didn’t seem very confident. I feel terrible giving this review because I know it happens (so I won’t say her name, as she was kind), but I should never leave a salon feeling like my money was ill spent/​wanting to cry.
The staff is very nice though.

I’ve gone back and forth between writing this review and not. I wish I could individually rate different aspects of my experience at this salon. I went here based on recommendations from my mommy group. She recommended Christina D. Unfortunately she was unavailable and I was going to be going out of town when she was back, so I let them set me an appointment with Chris. He is very nice and seems competent. I do think my hair was a bit challenging. I came in wanting blonde, multidimensional hair, and expressly stated I did not want orangish tones. I had box dye and some previous highlights on my hair. First he stripped my hair which honestly pretty much turned it orange. So, it set the stage for orange. Obviously my box color had lightened it and removing the color uncovered those undertones. He then highlighted it with I believe 2 colors. And then toned my hair. My highlight color was nice, but there was still so much orange. I also cut my hair and let him know I always part my hair on the side. He proceeded to cut it in the middle anyway, even thought I asked if that was best. He was a pro, so I trusted him. I didn’t get any layers as I have super fine hair. Just a few face framing. I thought it would be super easy and straight forward. Well when I got home and could really inspect my hair, I found it was not much of a different color besides oranger and a bit lighter. Also the cut was off. WAAAAY off. I thought about letting it go, but I couldn’t ignore the cut. It was so lopsided. I immediately called and the super nice receptionist had me come first thing the next morning. I saw Chris again and it was pretty awkward explaining the issues, but I decided to give him another try and explained what was going on. He gave me some more highlights and toned again, which greatly helped in the color department. I’d say its 85% to what I actually wanted. He told me after it was over it wouldn’t be possible to get exactly what I wanted because of the box dye and fineness of my hair. I can understand that. but would appreciate being told that *before* the whole process, maybe I wouldn’t have gone for it at all then. But fine, my color is pretty nice. There are a few places the highlights are like almost a whole inch from the root, but whatever, easy enough to hide.
OK, so he attempted to fix the cut as well. I honestly see no difference, except all my hair is shorter! I didn’t say anything after he didn’t fix it the second time because I didn’t want to lose anymore length. I needed the cutting to stop! He mentioned how my hair didn’t have layers so that made things different and he said how the fact I parted it so deeply did affect it after all. *shrug* I don’t even know what to say,
I left not super happy, but ready to throw in the towel. Well later that day I got a call from the manager. She was extremely nice and I told her everything. She really wanted me to come in and fix things. She even offered to have someone else do it. My hair had had enough damage at that point so I wanted to give it a rest, so I said that no it was fine. She then offered a refund for the cut and blow dry which was very nice of her to offer because I did not ask for it and I spent BIG bucks there because I know blonde can really go wrong. I really appreciate that she wanted to make sure I was happy with my experience and she did that to help.
Because she was so determined to make me happy, I would still probably go back, but choose a more experienced hairdresser. I actually feel guilty about writing this review, I don’t like talking negatively about people, but I am only stating what happened! Like I said, the salon itself is great, the people are all very nice. Chris was nice even though he knew I wasn’t happy with the first result. It just didn’t work out with my hair. The number one thing I just cannot reconcile is how lopsided my hair is. I am going to post a picture to show that.

First time at Maggie. I came for root color, deep conditioning and cut.

First time in this saloon and had a great experience Chris was the best understood my need and my type of hair ! He did an amazing job !! Highly recommend him !

I have been a regular here for almost a year. Mary does an outstanding job with my hair. I was reluctant to try this place at first because two previous salons did a horrible, horrible job. I have a lot of grays even though I’m only in my early thirties, so at some point I ended up with a very dark color. Mary was able to lighten my hair without any damage (over time, with partial highlights). She also gave me an awesome cut last week (she cut off about 7 inches!). I highly recommend Mary to anyone who wants quality cut and color.
A couple of things about the salon. Their busiest day is Saturday, so I try to avoid Saturdays. Also, bring either cash or debit card for the tip becuse you will not be able to add it on to your credit card. They also have a rewards program where you get points for things like making appointments, buying products and making referals. You then get credit toward services once you reach a certain amount of points.
I am so glad I found this place!
