Midas makes their money by doing a «routine check» on your car. You go in for an oil change and they come back to tell you 5 other things your car drastically needs. One was my brakes. They said the front are completely worn and my rotors needed ground down. They said the back was really close to needing replaced. When they told me the price, I was just going to let them do the front, $ 230. Then as I was thinking I decided I wanted to try it myself. So I told them no. I drove home. I bought slotted and drilled rotors and brake pads for all 4 brakes all for $ 150 on eBay. High quality and highly reviewed by the way. I rented the tools I needed and took the old pads off and found that my front brakes were just under half life and my rear brakes were at half life. But they were really going to try and charge me over $ 400 to do all 4 when I didn’t even need them. Obviously this is how they make money. If you go in for one thing and they come out telling you that you need 5 other things. I would get a second opinion. This is not the type of shop you want to go to if you want a problem trouble shooted. They will way over charge. Only go here for something specific and don’t let them do anything else to your car with out a second opinion. I’m sure they take advantage of ladies all the time. If I didn’t decide to do them myself I was totally going to let them do it for me. Be fore warned.

In and out oil change on a Saturday afternoon. A bit pricier than other oil change shops. Very friendly associate, not too pushy with up charge shenanigans like most garages. Recommend and will come here again. Also, free air freshener was a nice touch.

They had tires on sale. Buy 3 get one free. Because I did not do research online to buy the best tires with hire ratings, I let them install 4 Infuzion tires on my Honda Accord. As soon as I got on the road, I noticed they were really riding «rough» and not smooth. I brought the car back right away and the mechanic and I went for a drive. He told me it was the road and not the tires. I brought the car back several times and they said they needed to fixed the rotors, balance and align the tires. A few months ago I went in and asked them to honor the 55,000 mile warranty (I only drove them for about 30,000 miles) they said I would have to show them receipts that I had the tires rotated every 3,000 miles. They did the same thing as previously — balancing them and rotating the tires. This has been the worst experience for me and a waste of my money and time. This week I went on
and selected 4 Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires with 5 star ratings. They were $ 74 each. I had them installed at Walmart for another $ 56 and my car is driving like a dream, nice and smooth with some bounce to them over «rough» roads! What a delight and what a difference. I would not recommend this Midas shop to anyone.

Do not attend this branch
I called for a quote, once they installed by brakes the total due was not respected, and ended up paying the same as the dealer.
Following this bad experience, my brakes started to vibrate and I was told that this was because I needed new rotors. Then, they were squeeking, had to go back and got new brakes. Few months later brakes again started to vibrate, this was covered by their warranty and due to the inconvenience the brakes and rotors were replaced.
After all of the above lost of time, few months later this started again, now they did not covered because they were considering my milage since the first rotors were purchased and not reseted when they placed the second pair. Therefore they decided not to cover and that I needed to buy new rotors.
Personally, the worst mistake I did was to change my brakes here, each time took 2 – 3 hours of my time, this multiple times, and with 500 dollars invested.
I mailed the Midas headquarters, and few weeks later reached by the franchise owner offering assistance. Once, I tried to contact him to arrange an appointment he never answered.
In summary, this branch is a joke and the quality of their products is bad. Customer service is bad, and they keep you happy until you are out of warranty, at this point you need again to restart paying things.
AVOID A HEADACHE AN GO TO A DIFFERENT COMPANY

Wouldn’t recommend this place to my greatest enemy. ALL the employees are liars and want nothing but to scam you. Besides being scammers, they work terribly and simply don’t know what they’re doing. DONT DO IT.

I wish I had seen the warnings before I went there for an oil change. My car is scrupulously maintained and low mileage. It is in pristine condition. These crooks put in writing that my car had a serious engine oil leak and warned that it may have caused internal engine damage. They said they had to remove and replace the oil pan gasket and will cost a minimum of $ 1200. I took my car today to a REPUTABLE shop, Jacob’s, and he verified there is nothing wrong with my car. He didn’t even charge me to check the car, since I have been a customer for years. I recommend everyone go there instead. You won’t be cheated.
I have reported this shop to corporate office. These people should be fired immediately.

Horrible. The employees are shady and liars. I wish there was something less then one star. They don’t perform services that they say they perform. I do not recommend anyone go here unless you want to be Robbed. The employees are also incredibly rude.
