I drove from Miami to go to Roasting Buddies and I would HIGHLY recommend it to my friends. I tried the chocolate attack and I was so happy I did. It was completely delicious and I didn’t find it at all overwhelming. I loved the muffin on the top and the whipped crème could be eaten on its own. I am definitely coming back and I would love maybe a caramel attack inspired drink next time! LOL

Enjoyed this new spot in West pines! It’s a gem inside a shopping center. The place is very«wynwood» for the area. They have a wonderful coffee selection and some delicious baked goods on the menu. I had the ham and cheese brio but they recommended the apple one too. We went to work on some projects(free wifi) and it was very quiet and relaxing! Def. A breath of fresh air for the area.

As a coffee connoisseur, Roasting Buddies was truly a heavenly experience. If only I could give more than 5 stars to this little coffee shop. Entering this place is every coffee lovers nirvana! The overall vibe is somewhat like Starbucks, but the experience and drinks itself say otherwise. The lovely staffed helped out on picking a drink and even begun to explain all the coffee beans and the roasting process. The drink that personally stole the show for me was the Caribbean iced coffee because of how sweet yet caffeinated it was. Definitely will be coming back to this place! It truly is the Panthers Coffee of Pembroke Pines.

Found this hidden gem in West Pembroke Pines while doing my nails next door. The place is super cute. Has a mad scientist coffee lab feel. I ordered the Bombon Glass & my daughter the Caribbean Iced Coffee(recommend by the cashier). Let me say I was so happy we did! Staff was very friendly and informative. They have different coffee beans you can order from and they roast them and brew them right in front of you. Definitely want to come back to experience that and have some breakfast too. Lots of snack options available. My visit today was to get a 3pm pick me up… mission accomplished

Amazing gem of a coffee spot! The coffee is fresh and roasted in small batches each day. Very rich and true to taste. This is such a cute place to studt or catch up with a friend. It’s like you’re transported when you’re there. They have many different coffee options from the traditional macchiato to more unique flavors like the Bombon glass. It’s espresso with condensed milk, whipped cream and chocolate drizzle on top. I’m so glad I chose this cause it was freaking amazing!!! Makes Starbucks look like child’s play. Who needs generic, commercialized, over sweetened coffee when you can get specialized, well brewed and wonderfully decorated coffee!!! We also had the ham and cheese brio as well as the Italian brio. A brio is deliciously fluffy bread baked into a circle with the filling in the spiral. My Italian was to die for. It had tomato, cheese and ham bits inside. A little burnt cheese around the edges. Amazing. The ham and cheese was a little milder flavor but still good. Has oregano flavors on the bread. Must try!!!

Ok m happy this place ha gotten so much love. I remember comjng here when they were still really young in the business but was thouroughly inpressed by their service and coffee. My coworkers and i(starbucks) came here almost every day for a whole week!!! The owner and his wife are really nice and easy to talk to(although they are more fluent in spanish) They also roast their own beans in house so the coffee is as fresh as possible and its pretty cool to watch the roasting process. If youre interested in coffee, definitely check this place out and talk to the manager, he loves to talk about coffe and its noticeably his passion

Nice independent coffee shop with good selection of breads, sandwiches and pastries. Coffee drink selection includes espresso based as well as hand brews and press pots. Lattes feature poured art, just like in Seattle. They roast on premises and do a strong online business as well.

Definitely giving Starbucks a run for their money. Their food options are better, in my opinion and the coffee is absolutely delicious. Only reason for 4⁄5 stars is because it’s hidden behind the huge LA Fitness that basically takes over the plaza. Also, there was a film crew here while I was eating and it was disturbing. Obviously, I hope that is not always the case when I decide to come here. Other than that, this place is my new go-to.

This little gem in west pines is a little heaven sent from the coffee Gods. When you arrive you are greeted by friendly attendants. They asked if it was my first time and she showed me how their coffee beans are roasted in house and how fresh they are. They have so many countries they buy from. My favorites are Kenya and organic Colombia. Refer to my picture below on the process of how the coffee is obtained. I saw the actual coffee bean and its green. What does this mean? It means that the coffee is cultivated, washed, sun dried, then shipped directly to this location. In other words, no processing, no chemicals, and no preservatives for it to last longer. I care about what I put into my body. My body is my temple. These people know how to energize my temple well. Lol! Ok so enough with the crazy talk… the freshness equals unparalleled flavor!!! The coffee is pure and delicious! I can’t get enough. This is the perfect girls coffee date, first date, study, let’s catch up, let’s get awesome coffee, pre workout, let’s chill and drink coffee, let’s drink coffee and people watch kind of a place. My recommendations: if you like banana and coconut have their iced Caribbean coffee. It is the best flavored iced coffee I’ve ever had. Very important for coffee lovers: please try their strongest version of coffee which is their Aeropress. You think you’re a champ and can drink strong coffee… pfft ok… wait for this! I humbled myself very quickly. The taste was amazing but extremely strong. If you are ever in the area this is THE coffee place. Heck, I’m not even in the area and I’ll drive my happy self over here for some amazing coffee. Starbucks who? Get out of here! I want roasting buddies please!

Wonderful coffee shop in west pines!!! This was very much needed. Don’t get me wrong, I like Einsteins but Roasted Buddies is definitely my new coffee shop! The stuffed brioches are yummy! Tried the ham and cheese & mozzarella and zucchini. They sell out in the morning but still had a variety! Coffee was rich and delicious!

All I ordered was a chocolate attack and I honestly thought it was overpriced for the portion ;( However, it was tasty and their chocolate muffin that came with it was pretty tasty. I think it was the first time I actually liked muffins. *keep in mind: their chocolate muffins have coconuts in it! Not sure about other flavors so if you’re allergic, please make sure you don’t consume!!!* The inside has a hipster modern vibe to it that kids now a days like! Very cozy and dark.

This is a fantastic coffee shop with slow brew coffee and a good variety of pastry/sandwiches. The barista is very knowledgeable and picked out a light roast that was exactly what I was looking for. Did you know, cold brews have double the amount of caffeine as espresso? He educated me that the longer you brew, the more caffeine you get out of the beans. I also got the egg white and spinach brio. It’s very good and healthy. This place has good amount of seating and there is space for you to do some computer work. One thing I’d like to see improve is the cleanliness i the tables. It’s make this place so much better if they kept up with wiping the tables when customers leave right away.

This is a pretty new business that opened up a few months ago. I hadn’t had a chance to check it out but, today, I did! It’s like the Panther Coffee of Pembroke Pines :) in a very good way, of course! It may not look like much where it is located, however, when you walk in it’s really cool. Everything you’d want in a trendy coffee shop. They roast their own coffee beans from different parts of the world on location. They have the traditional cold brew going, so good! I had the Vanilla Coconut Cold Brew, wow! very good. I also had the Zucchini Mozzarella Brio, amazing! Highly recommended. Looking forward to returning and trying some other yummies on their menu.

Well I decided to finally write a review for this place. Although it’s only been open for a few weeks I’ve been here several times already. Today it’s packed and it’s about 11:00 am. Filled with many ladies who appear to have just finished a work out from the gym next door. All the other times there has been a partial full house. The setting has a very cool and relaxed vibe. Red seems to be the theme color with it popping out through out. Claudia one of the owners has greeting us each time. She has explained to use the way the freshness of the coffee can not be compared because they roast their beans on location daily. They offer a variety of beans from Colombia, Costa Rica, Argentina just to name a few. They also have these unique lil breakfast sandwiches in a few egg flavors called Brios not to big but tasty. Today my son and I were here for the fresh squeezed juices. We both had the Detox one. Kale, Spinach, Apple, Ginger, Cucumber and Lemon. At $ 4.50 for 16 Oz. Available other then great tasting coffee serverd in various forms are pastries and sandwiches and juices. In the coffee world dominated by you know who Star… It’s refreshing to see these mom and pop small business open up and take courage. This one has what it takes and I hope they have great success. I know I will keep coming back.

I’ve been on a search for unique coffee shops in South Florida and I’m really excited that I stumbled upon Roasting Buddies. The owner is very knowledgeable about the different types of coffee and varieties of the way it is brewed. Upon entering the place he greeted us and showed my friends and I the area where they roast different types of coffee beans. Roasting Buddies also has an array of pastries and food. You have to try the Bombun coffee. The top layer is whip cream followed by expresso and then condensed milk. Its can be a bit strong but for me its the perfect blend of sweetness with expresso. I wasn’t too crazy about the spinach and egg white brio. But I guess there is a first time for everything.

I’m pretty stoked that BPB’s coffee house scene is buzzing. Finally! Roasting Buddies is one of the newest additions and I was super impressed. I was able to come in on the weekday and crack the ol’ laptop open to get some work done. To fuel my work sesh, I went with an iced hazelnut. It wasn’t overly sweet, the coffee was bold — I would of liked a little more ice in it, but it’s all good. They have your basic Espresso drinks and some wild creations like the Bombon(condensed milk, espresso and foam). They actually roast all of their beans right there — and the owner told me the keep it to super small batches each day to make sure the coffee is as fresh as possible. I also ordered the egg-white and spinach Brio. The gentleman that took care of me suggested it and it was delicious. I also snatched up a strawberry and cheese pastry on the way out. It was RIGHT out of the oven. I ate it before I made it to the car. Inside it has the perfect vibe. Nice chill playlist. Warm atmosphere with a lot of wood. A nice and large communal table(along with smaller tables throughout).

Where can you find 4 bars in one spot? Here in Roasting Buddies! Greeted by coffee aroma upon entering, this cute, original coffee shop has 4 «bars» — Espresso Bar, Slow Bar, Food Bar, and Juice Bar — so don’t be fooled by the scent. There’s more than just coffee! And I’m quite impressed by the menu. Here’s what I have tried so far… From the Espresso Bar: – Iced Dark Chocolate Latte(I love dark chocolate! Great to have if you want little caffeine.) – Bombon Glass(Layers of condensed milk, espresso, and foam milk, topped with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. Tastes delicious and it’s pretty for pictures!) – Flat White Glass(One of the strongest drinks I’ve had here. Good if you need a kick!) From the Slow Bar: – Original Cold Brew(I actually had a shot of this brew, and that day they had El Salvador. It came from the Tall Tower you see on display with the other hand brew gadgets. Strong and smooth, double the caffeine from Japanese slow drip process and less acidity.) – Haven’t tried the others yet: Syphon, V60, Aeropress, and French Press(They will gladly explain each and try to cater to your liking!) From The Food Bar: – Strawberry & Cheese Danish(It was good, but I wish I had it with warm coffee instead of iced, or I should’ve requested it to be heated.) – Egg White & Spinach Brio(YUMMMM. A hot brioche roll so soft and delicious! I want to try the Zucchini & Fresh Mozzarella next.) From The Juice Bar: – Green Planet(Made of spinach, apple, kale, and cucumber. Yay, a green drink with no lemon! Sometimes my tastebuds disagree with the lemon-kale combo in other green drinks.) They also offer croissants, bagels, and various«fillings» to add on bread, salad, or quinoa. Next time, I want to try their Power Breakfast combo(bagel, salad, quinoa, salmon, mozzarella, and orange juice), probably after one of my morning runs. Also to note, the pastries are self-served. Just grab a plate and abuse the tongs to grab all the treats you’re craving! Nice to know they’re 50% off after 6pm via Unilocal-check in(I’m eying to get some French macarons). They sell their own coffee you can take home and brew yourself — they have their own roaster on display in the middle of the shop, keeping you company as you sip your brew. Yes, they have wifi. It’s a good spot for computer work(they have many outlets), but it’s quite dark so I don’t suggest this place for reading/studying with textbooks unless you sit on the couch/lounge area in the front by the windows during the day. Also, I wish they had some teas. I saw a few tables with them, but I don’t see the variety of teas on the menu. But considering the name, gotta stay true to the coffee brew! Overall, it’s a great spot for bites and sips. I look forward to exploring more of the menu!

Probably one of the cutest coffee shops I’ve seen, at least in Pembroke Pines. It’s a nice place if you want to take a break from Starbucks or Second cup. This place is located right in the corner of the plaza on 184th and Pines Blvd, it’s to the right of LA Fitness, you can’t miss it! They have a ton of options from drinks to food, but what really separates them from other coffee shops is that they offer different types of brewing coffee(siphon, aeropress, V60, and French press). So if you’re not a coffee coniseur like me, then it can be pretty overwhelming, but the man at the cash register(I’m assuming owner? Lol) is knowledge and can explain about all the different types of brew(which I don’t remember haha). They also have juices freshly made on the spot, and I was definitely torn between getting coffee or a juice, but since it’s a coffee shop, I should probably try their coffee. I ended up getting and hazelnut iced coffee and my friend that I went with got the dark chocolate iced coffee. For food, they serve both savory and sweet pastry, all of which are on display in their refrigerated case in the front. We had a such a big lunch before hand, but we still managed to find room to split a strawberry and cheese pastry. It was pretty good, although I think it would have been better if it was warmed. Annnnnd random side note, they sell the cutest and smallest jar of Nutella in the middle display hehe. The only thing I don’t like about this place is the lighting. IT’S SODARK! The space is huge though, plenty of plenty of room, you’ll definitely find a place to sit without a problem. But the lighting is subpar for studying and taking Instagram pictures lol. Come on… Coffee, good lighting, and Instagram! It just makes sense! But hey, the actual coffee is still good nonetheless!

Beyond thrilled to have an original coffee shop in Pines! Coffee: No more franchise, pre-packaged ground coffee for this girl. no sir! Not when there’s a local, hip spot to snag a freshly ground & roasted Cup O’ Joe around the corner! The lattes and cappuccinos are made with love — no rushed burnt after taste here! Only the real robust espresso flavor that all coffee lovers long for. They also have multiple sweetener options beyond the bagged stuff such as Agave & Honey that truly blends into your café of choice. Décor: the vibe at Roasting Buddies is a combination of café chic & chill. With attention grabbing decorative touches on every square inch, there’s no need to take your café creation to-go. They truly want their customers to sit, relax, and unwind in their hip neighborhood café(don’t mind if I do)! Food: that’s right, the awesomeness doesn’t end with tasteful espresso drinks! They also have sandwiches, salads, and neat little creations called Buddies Brios. I like how they have the sandwich ingredients separated from the bread so it’s put together when ordered(no soggy sandwiches here!) The Buddies Brios is like a breakfast sandwich woven into a muffin shape — great to take on the go or eat a with fork. The Ham & Cheese was delicious. Overall, I believe my fellow neighbors agree — rhis is the start of a great relationship. It’s been a long time coming Roasting Buddies — Welcome to the neighborhood!
