This is the best coffee shop period. Great mocha, great latte, great quich, and most of all best owner that often plays live music.

A great to get a good cup of coffee. If you’re lucky the owner will come out and play some music while you’re sitting there and relaxing. Always a good place to take a few minutes and recoup before going out into the mad world

Stopped here on my way to Indy from Muncie because I needed a latte and avoid Starbucks at all costs. It was decent, not stellar but not terrible either. Cute shop, friendly staff.

What a cool coffee shop. Located right downtown — stopped in this AM for a quick coffee fix after driving by it for years. Custom art for sale on the walls, brick wall interior, eclectic décor, smiling faces, excellent coffee served in real cups, and Jim Croce spinning on a 33 piped over the speakers. Yes! Stop in and enjoy this local place — if I had more time I would have tried the spinach quiche.(Real men DO eat quiche). Cost comparable to Starbucks.

I went here with a couple of my friends to check out another friend’s art. It was a brisk day and I was more than happy to go and check out a local coffee shop. We walked in and the first feeling you get is one of comfort. There was a man playing the guitar and singing, which we later found out is the owner. We actually waited in line to put our coffee order in and there were more people flocking in. The treats all looked so good, but I resisted and went with the vanilla latte, non fat, no whip of course. I was pleasantly surprised that the owner stopped playing his guitar and came over behind the counter to help out. My latte was just the way I hoped it would be, hot and STRONG. Once they were caught up, the owner came back out and played Happy Birthday for my friend. It was such a nice experience and while I don’t live in the community, I would make it a point to go back and check this shop out again. They are doing it right, folks.

Excellent coffee and lots of options! Also they have delicious coffee cake and muffins. We are regulars and stop in at least once a week. Dave the owner and his staff are very friendly. Sometimes he plays the guitar too! Also usually every month they have new artwork hanging by different local artists which I look forward to seeing.

This is a pretty cool independent coffee house. It is located in the historic part of town. The owner is friendly and his service is great. The homemade granola and the quiche is delicious! If I ever go through that part of the country again I’ll want to go back. If you like strong coffee order the 2−2−2. That is 2 shots-2sugars-2 tablespoons of cream with a large scoop of ice on top!

I stopped in here the third day I was in Pendleton and had a small dish of absolutely scrumptious ice cream(Mars Bars or some similar flavor) and had been meaning to get back here to try the sandwiches. I forgot she had quiche too! I finally made it back in today and had the ham salad sandwich which was so good! It says you get two sandwiches but it is really two dinner rolls with ham salad in them but definitely good quality salad. I also had a latte with chocolate and caramel that was very good – she made it light on the flavorings so it wasn’t too sweet. The coffee and sandwich came to $ 10 – more than I usually pay for so little but I’m glad I tried it. I would like to come back for the quiche if I have time before I leave. She also sells the coffee beans and has a grinder on the premises – though I recommend having a grinder at home so it will be fresh ground when you make it. 9⁄4 I was going to go to Cabbage Rose today because I haven’t tried it yet but it wasn’t open after 2pm even though it said it was on Thursdays. So I came here instead and had a piece of their wonderful quiche and regular coffee. The coffee wasn’t very strong – surprising for a coffee shop – but had good flavor. I love all the extras they provide – cocoa, cinnamon, raw sugar, real half and half, etc. The quiche was portobello mushroom and sausage – the last piece of that flavor – and was one of the best I’ve ever had. Mmmmm.
