Timmy G’s

who doesn’t love Timmy G’s? love the fish fry… breading is tasty and the fries are breaded and crispy. Cole slaw is sweet and good too. my husband likes the prime rib. prices are fair and the staff are always nice.

The service was prompt, friendly, and courteous. The food was freshly-​made, quickly-​delivered, and every bite outstanding. We were very pleasantly surprised and will certainly be back.

OMG! Absolutely amazing. If you’re in Penn Yan you have to eat here. Fantastic service and the food was really really great. The lamb chops are to die for. I don’t know what they put in the chicken Parmesan but it will leave you wanting to come back for more.

Amazing food, service, and the prices and quantity of food was great!!! Wish there was something closer to home like this place!

After a hectic day, this was a perfect place to have dinner. We based it on Unilocal and were not disappointed. DH had spaghetti and meatballs, I had the steak with fries both of us had salad and carrot cake to go. It was good at a good price. We had stopped at another place first, turned around and left and were glad we did. Service here was great, stop if you are on the area stop.

My husband and I both ordered off the specials menu. We also got the pulled pork app in potatoes. All of the food we received was borderline gourmet food at a very reasonable price. We have recommended it to everyone we have seen in the finger lakes so far. The place is a little deceptive at first, it seems like a small family restaurant, which it is, but the food will blow you away! If I could give 10 stars I would!

Great variety of tasty food at great prices. It’s pretty crowded at lunch but large enough they turn the tables at a nice rate.

We hosted our son and DIL’s rehearsal dinner at Timmy G’s. The dinners (Salmon, Prime Rib and Sausage), were excellent. The service was exemplary.
They were very accommodating to our party of 30. The owner was personally involved in all aspects of the event and was very attentive.

Visiting from out of state with a party of 9 over Columbus day weekend. We were all unfamiliar with the area and hoped to find a decent place to eat. Our party was accommodated and our server, Katrina, was wonderful and very attentive with service and filling up water glasses. Everyone enjoyed their meal from the turkey pot pie, the steak, Italian wedding soup and the apple crisp for dessert. We were all pleased to have found a friendly, reasonably priced and delicious restaurant to spend together for evening. Thank you Timmy G’s!!!

This place used to be called the Red Rooster and this was the first time I had been here in a long time! So here we go. We went Friday night and arrived about 7 they said a 20 minute wait which ended up being about 35 minutes. Our waitress was ok but another lady thankfully checked on us a couple of times and gave us refills on drinks and coffee. The place was clean including the restroom which is a big plus!
I ordered an BBQ pulled pork casadia appetizer and it was very good. It had great flavor and a good side portion. For Dinner I had the chicken parm which was decent but nothing to write home about, it was average at best. My wife had the stuffed shells which she also said were average also. My dad had the Prime rib which was pretty good the meat was tender and cooked well. The only down side was the Au Ju sauce was somewhat blan. Prices were in line so overall I would give this a 3 star rating.

Excellent food & service, great prices & spotless restrooms. What’s not to love!!! I had the steak oscar with French onion soup & garlic smashed potatoes. Hubby had the jumbo stuffed shells with meatballs ~ we both thoroughly enjoyed our dinners.
