I went to Warthog Cidery on 8÷19÷15 after going to several other wine and beer tastings in the area. I wanted to finish the day with a nice refreshing glass of hard cider. Warthog Cidery appears to be part of a larger company. It looked like if I had gone into another building on the site, I could have tried wine and/or beer as well. The customer service was okay. It felt like our server was more of an employee than someone who was interested in the product. However the variety of ciders available to taste made up for the customer service. I particularly liked the cider that tasted like a slice of apple pie. In a nutshell, if you’re a cider drinker(and you’re passing this cidery) it is worth a stop but don’t expect to be blown away by everything you taste.

We stopped here to finish our day of tastings. The ciders were all pretty good. The service was fine but didn’t stand out. The one thing that was actually pretty good was the spiced cider which was like apple pie in a bottle. It’s co-located with a couple other concerns including Torrey Ridge Winery and Red Neck Wines.
