Hing Far Chinese Restaurant

Highly recommend very friendly staff and the food is great especially for take out. We ate in and take out, great experience all around.

This isn’t a correct rateing for this restaurant. This place is awesome, the people are great the remember you and your family, when you come in. The food is good and worth the visit. Family owned and operated its small but consistent.

we lived down the street for about 10 years. Even now that we don’t, I’ll drive the 15 minutes to stay a Hing Far customer. Try the 10-​ingredient fried rice! Oh and everything is ready is «10 minutes» whether you are four or forty!!! (not really, its a joke in our family).

Me and my boyfriend like to get all dressed up and go out to eat here because we don’t have to deal with crowds of other people. Takeout is probably not that impressive, but I love to dine in because the experience is better. It is a personal setting, very quiet and relaxing. If you dine in they will greet you with a little bowl of those fried wonton chip thingies and some sweet manadrin orange flavored sauce (duck sauce?). The service is great, and the food is great for the price. They give very generous helpings of meat. Usually I’ll eat half my meat and all the rice, then go home and make some rice to eat the rest of the meat with at work for lunch the next day. Delicious! :)

I am in a constant search for a good bowl of hot & sour soup, and these guys just hit it out of the park! Their prices are great, and their staff is exceptionally friendly every time.

No matter how much Chinatown Chinese food you’ve had, sometimes you just want the comfort of a big greasy plate of crispy General Tso’s. Unfortunately this place barely even fulfilled that urge. The only menu is the paper takeout menu, the rice tastes like nothing, and the sauces smelled weird. The food didn’t taste horrible, but overall it was disappointing, even after coming in with the low expectations of a suburban Chinese place.

Best Chinese in the area and the owners are super friendly. Hope they open back up soon after the fire on Saturday.

I stumbled into this restaurant by accident. I’m from Philly and was going to try out some restaurant my friend told me to try but they asked if i had reservations which i did not so i wasn’t able to eat there. So feeling pretty pissed i stopped off a local CVS to buy some smokes and noticed this restaurant across the street. I decided to give it a try and OMG the food is so good there! Coming from south philly, all the corner chinese restaurants taste pretty much the same but this place, there’s actually flavor in the food! There was this teenager that waited on me there and i was actually surprised on how nice he was. Again, a big shock since i’m from Philly and most of the teenagers are pretty rude. So in the end, great food and great service!

Maybe I’m biased because I grew up literally down the street, but this place has incredibly tasty food. Take out or dine in, some damn good food at a very modest price. There are only a hand-​full of tables and it’s much like eating in someones dining room. I like that about it. Owned and operated by a family of genuinely fantastic people. This little gem is a diamond in the rough.
