Not a very pleasant experience! First, I had to wait a week and a half for the initial service call. Once they arrived the technician spent approximately 5 minutes to diagnose what was wrong with my SubZero refrigerator. He was on the phone the entire time, clearly being walked through the process by someone up to speed on refrigeration! He claimed that I needed to do a leak test, which was not covered by the warranty company. So, it would have cost me roughly $ 400 for this service call($ 300 for the leak test and $ 100 deductible!). I was scheduling the«refrigerator» guy to come back out to do the leak test. He could not come out for another 1.5 weeks! So now I would be out of a working refrigerator for 3 weeks! I could not wait! I called my warranty company to please send someone else, because I felt they were not knowledgable as it pertains to fixing this refrigerator. I had another company out in 2 days after my call. The technician spent 2 minutes, seriously!, to diagnose the problem. It was a broken cooling control, which was not even looked at by NuAir! I contacted NuAir after this, and it took several calls to get through, only to be greeted by an obviously VERY unhappy person! She said she was the supervisor, and I have spoken with her previously on the phone. She was also miserable on that occasion too! Overall, probably one star for what I have experienced, but I am trying to be nice! This company should not have whomever this woman is working with customers, because clearly she could not give a damn! And they may want to consider sending out competent technicians to do the work! Wondering how long it would have taken them(and how much money I would have been out of pocket) to properly diagnose the problem! Maybe it is best they stick to HVAC!
