*BEST BURGER IN SALEM COUNTY!!!
If you haven’t been to AJ’S in the past year, you should give them a visit. Major Staff Changes are paying off. Bar Staff is «SPOT ON», Friendly, and service is quick. Gone are the days that you can’t even get a «Hello» or «Friendly Smile» from the Bar Staff.
Food is Very Good, Featuring daily and weekly Specials such as their weekly «WING NIGHT».
In My Opinion, The BEST BURGER in the SALEM COUNTY AREA can be found at AJ’S! My Favorite is the «BLUE MAX BURGER!» A Huge Blue Cheese Stuffed Burger perfectly cooked to order. Not a FROZEN patty like the other places in the county. All made their on the premises. One of the most EXCITING CHANGES to AJ’S, is the ARRIVAL of DEEP FRIED HOT DOGS!!! If you have never had a DEEP FRIED HOT DOG, you’ll NEVER know what you’ve missed. FORGET grilling, boiling, steaming, DEEP FRIED HOT DOGS RULE!!!
GET THE BLUE MAX BURGER and a COLD DRAUGHT BEER!

Good place to hang out and meet up with some friends. The deck area is for the smokers as it is screened in and protected from the rain and other wet weather (I.e. Snow, hail…).

Hands down the best wings around. Great, friendly crew. Try the boom-​boom if ya know what’s good for ya. The beer selection is growing by the day. Good IPA choices too

wtf?!? place REAKED of smoke inside AND on screened patio. so much for the no smoking law, they were smoking at the bar inside?!?
The small open deck was the only place that did not stink… oh, but it gets better…
We had to go inside and ask if anyone is coming out to help us… and the answer was NO! The back area was not open… again, WTF?!? ALL the fans were on, the lights were on, TVs were on… but it was closed and they weren’t serving people out there.
Needless to say we left and went some where else.

AJ’s is an excellent local bar and restaurant — with great food specials and now featuring local bands and live music every weekend!

AJ’s Tavern is a landmark in this town, If you like it or not. Cheap beer, one of the longest bar’s you will see, best wings in town. Monday night is «Wing Night» me and my buddy Jeff are always saying we are going to make it to wing night, but we haven’t in quite awhile. I don’t go out to the bar as much as I used to, but we have spent a lot of time and money there back in the day and that was not that long ago. Just writing this is making me want to get over there for some wings. Maybe soon. Another thing we used to like alot was taco night on Thursday’s. The tacos were like 50 cents or something like that. They have done a lot of work to the bar to make it a lot nicer inside then it used to be. A deck was added after the smoking ban, so you smokers will have to enjoy sitting on the deck. For the non-​smokers we enjoy the smell of stale beer minus the smoke. The bathroom is legendary.
