I purchase the most amazing cake for my wife’s birthday. 10 Brownie points for me, but for them, Two folks up. A Food network– Cake Boss level cake. The most perfect flavor, decorations and texture. Finally a real bakery worth it’s weight in gold. Also, great customer service, variety and selection.

The saccharin southern service was a bit over the top and disingenuous and the display case appeared to be VERY picked over and anemic, but the items I purchased for a group dinner seem to have been enjoyed. I had the upside down pineapple cupcake and found it to be very tasty.

After a couple visits I just have to say I’m just not in love with this place… The people who work here are extremely nice. However, their prices are very high. 9 and some change for coffee and a piece of cake. Ouch. I would have given this place a one star for their«latte» which was completely white, had no coffee taste and i think was just plain milk and a little vanilla syrup. Threw it out after one sip. While their desserts are just ok they do seem to change the menu up a lot. If you like a dessert today it wont be there next week. But whatever you get will end up costing you 4 – 5 bucks for a dessert. I didnt want to complain to the poor girl trying to run everything. She was so busy and so nice I felt bad complaining.

I visited this coffee shop/bakery on Saturday and got a decent Café Latte – I appreciated the hotness, ok foam and locale close to the Saenger where my daughters had a dance rehearsal. It was convenient n the pricing was slightly less than Starbucks. There were 2 employees – one knowledgable and unfriendly and one friendly and clueless. There was no Splenda and no trash can as to place my stir but all in all not bad! Sooooooooo I decided to divulge in my habit of supporting local businesses and come back w my large family of 6 the following day after the dance recital. Wow! It went from a C+ to a F. Both employees incredibly ill prepared to work in a coffee house – it was a disaster! They told me they knew how to make a cold coffee beverage but didn’t, had no clue how to charge for it, began making one drink at a time-my daughter was finished w hers before we got the 2nd. My latte had no foam and my son’s drink had no coffee! I could go on n on but geez what a disappointment! We were the only customers which was incredibly sad since the recital had just let out !! What an opportunity this owner missed by hiring or possibly not training these particular ppl! This shop could have been packed w business! Oh how I wish I owned or managed the coffee side!!! I’ll finish by saying that I stated my complaints courteously and the one employee did give me a full refund and for that I just might try this place again – that n I am just stubborn to believe anyone would own a place in such an awesome location not to read reviews and make corrections!

Small quaint place with good coffee and good food. Home cooked breakfast, fresh hollandaise sauce, and fresh croissants. Great latte too!

The Sandwiches are so good. I had the Fromage A Trois and could easily eat two of them, so yummy they are.

This Monte’ Cristo is great! Perfect combination of cheese and jelly with the ham and croissant. Nice quiet atmosphere besides the hum of the ice cream freezer. Wish I tried all the pastries. The Devils dog is pretty legit. Very smooth chocolate cake filled with whipped cream.

This place is good for basic coffee and sweets. Do not eat here for brunch. We took out of town guests here, simply ordered a quiche which is advertised all over the café. It took 45 minutes for them to bring us a partially frozen partially hot soggy gross quiche. Also ordered a Cobb salad that had a sunny side up cold(!) egg. Yeah never coming here again. Stick to what you’re good at– desserts-and drop the food off the menu if you can’t deliver it.

We came here while my husband was on lunch break. It was after the lunch crowd because there were about 3 tables filled including us. We ordered our food and it took forever! It took about 45 min to get out two sandwiches! My husband barely had time to eat. It was a ridiculously long time especially since there was hardly anyone there! So naturally, once we got the sandwiches, I wasn’t impressed because I had waited so long! And they’re just sandwiches not a cooked meal! I honestly thought they had gone out to get groceries to make our meal. That’s how long it took! Maybe it was an off day for them, but I don’t think I will be back.

I often worry about buying coffee on a whim when I’m out of town. I’m pissed off that I wasted over $ 8 for two lattes and confirmed why I only buy coffee from trusted sources. This is the worst cup of «latte» I’ve ever drank. It was so bad that I threw it in the sewer after one sip where it belonged. Before I tossed the crap-in-a-cup, I took off the lid to put sugar in it. There was just a film of milk in the cup. I later came to find out that their version of a latte(espresso with steamed milk) was just black coffee and a milk that they gargled and spit in the cup. I want my $ 8 back. I didn’t have anything else on the menu. I’m sure it’s fine but it’s now suspect considering they believe they can get away with charging coffee house prices for quality that’s worth a fraction of the price. I’m just saying… it makes you wonder about the value of their menu.

I love me some Adonna’s because they don’t ever disappoint when it comes to great service, yummy tea service, tasty baked goods, and more importantly free/fast wifi! This is one of the few places(if not the only one) that serves macarons and canolis so if your palette craves these items then this is the place to be. As far as their tea service goes, it’s really just some tea, a small sandwich, and a dessert(not like an amazing 3-tier serving plate in London). This tea event occurs 2:00PM-5:00PM Monday-Saturday and 11:00AM-3:00 on Sundays. Again, nice place to get some work done with that awesome wifi connection!

Visiting Pensacola from So Cal, and this place was recommended for a lunch spot. Let me just say how gorgeous it is in here. And quiet! Pastries were delicious and lunch was outstanding. The chicken dumpling soup hit the spot. It also helps when you waitress is so sweet and helpful. We’ll be regulars at this spot until I leave.

**Only reviewing the macaroons & ice cream Walking around downtown spiked up our sweet tooth and were looking for ice cream! We tried the vanilla & also took one very small macaroon. Although both were delicious it was over priced, and the flavors were no where to be seen. The waffle cone was my favorite part however! Overall ok place.

So disappointed. My mother in law purchased two bags of their macarons to surprise me. Well, when I opened the package I knew I’d seen them before. The macarons they sell here are the FROZEN ones that Sam’s Club carries. I just wish they were made in house. I can’t believe they cut the plastic packaging that these store bought macarons are sold in, stuff them in a plastic bag with a bow, and slap their sticker on them. Just a poor representation of a local business. Sadly, I won’t be giving a referral or returning.

My wife and I shared the strawberry shortcake, a lemon macaroon, vanilla Sunday cupcake and the cherry Italian soda. Every thing was spot on. We loved all of it.

i got the red velvet cupcake and red velvet gooey cake. I regret this decision more than that time I put my _______into an ant hill. This was the worst, and I mean worst foods I’ve ever tasted of any type from any place. The cake texture was the same on each, with a strong overtone of too much food coloring and possibly bad water. I am not exaggerating when I say I took one bite of each product, couldn’t finish chewing, and threw it all away. I regret wasting both my time and money at this store and it was so bad I’ll make it a point to never even give them a second opportunity for my business. This is officially the worst place I’ve ever eaten at and this is my worst review on Unilocal.Congrats.(P.S., I’ve given one stars to other places, and now having gone here, may change them to two stars, as I only thought then I knew what bad was. I thank this place for showing me the error of my ways.)

Adonna’s is a great place to meet friends for lunch or to have a bite to eat before going to the theater. The food is good, reasonably priced, and generously portioned. The café is small and would not be a comfortable choice for groups larger than four.
