Jerry’s is only 20 minutes from the beach and it’s delicious. All of the sandwiches are small, so load up. The burgers are great. The gravy fries are great. I love their corn dogs. The best sandwich there is the bbq pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw on top. EVERYTHING tastes good dipped it Jerry’s sauce. It’s cash only, but there’s an ATM inside. It’s an old diner with a lot of character.

They got mullet fresh from the bay. It’s good. Hamburger is good too. Friendly service. That’s always nice. Clean bathrooms which is good. Every time I’m on the east side of town and I’m hungry I go there. It’s that good. Good milk shakes too. One thing I look for is how many men eat there. That’s how you know the food is good. Plenty of men at Jerry’s. It’s down home feel really adds to the experience. Go check them out.

Friendly staff and fun, laid back diner atmosphere. Had the bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. Very tasty and good portions for the price. I’m not sure what the sauce was called, but their house sauce was great to dip the onion rings in… I actually could probably find a way to put it on most foods. The bacon cheeseburger was cooked well and a great, classic taste.

It is cash only and you can no longer call ahead for takeout. Food is good. The beer is better.

We almost drove right past this little dive Last Saturday but the sign caught our eye, «Home of the Original Bacon Cheeseburger». Not sure how true that is but I was in the mood for a burger so we pulled in. It was very crowded but we were seated quickly. The food was served quickly and came out hot. The burgers were SOGOOD. They tasted like they were freshly made, and like something your mom or dad would make at home, not some frozen pre-made patty you get at most places. The fries were crusty on the outside and fluffy on the inside, in other words, perfect! Two of my kids got hot dogs, which were tasteless and inedible. I don’t understand how the burgers could be so great and the hot dogs so bad, but I suggest staying away. There was plenty to choose from anyway. The price point was pretty good, a very affordable restaurant however it added up quickly to $ 37 for a family of 5. I think they got us on the drinks! Be warned they are cash or local check only. Worth a trip, go check them out!

Excellent food, inexpensive, and quick service with a small town restaurant atmosphere. Can’t go wrong with Jerry’s Drive-In!

There are not many restaurants I have to visit every time I go home, but Jerry’s is definitely one of them. Bacon cheeseburger, french fries(ask to have them crispy) and a vanilla milk shake is the BOMB.COM! Especially using the special sauce on your burger/fries. Soooo good and cheap too! Everything is amazing, but you definitely have to try a cheese burger once! Not sure if other patrons have noticed, but keep your eyes peeled — you will spot a celebrity in there once in a blue moon. It’s just THAT good!

For 10 bucks you can officially become an American and get Diabetus. Its all delicious comfort food in small portions so you order a little of everything. Its awesome and I love it and you should come here — I’d write more but my second order just came out –a cheeseburger and mac n’ cheese and hush puppies, oh my!

Unabashed and a GIGANTOR fan of Jerry’s! Old school mom and pop — - hey wait, that’s mom behind the counter and she looks like she’s been here awhile. Yes, you can purchase the fry sauce by the 12 oz cup so be sure you when you pay out, that you stock up. Bring CASH. My waitress told me that what can be made by scratch, IS. I loved the grouper sandwich and the family likes the burgers: delicious. Great fries and sides— the place is local but definitely«discovered» by the tourists which is A OKBYME. Not huge portions– so think double on the burger and the wonderful handmade shakes I am seeing some snarky reviews(are these peeps) who are used to doing the BOX gunk?

Just some local flavor that has been around my whole life. I go there whenever I need some good olé southern cooking. Their chicken livers remind me of my Grandmas and I can’t give a bigger compliment than that!

Like others have said, it’s a Pensacola institution! Best food in town? — no. Healthy food? –hell no. Date night location? –no. Just a good old-school diner that has kept true to its southern roots for many, many years. My kids love the malts and corn dogs or burgers. Today the gumbo was very good. Can’t go wrong with their fried grouper sandwich or fried damn near anything. Spend another few minutes at the gym and then treat yourself to a southern fried treat.

The worst fried shrimp I have ever eaten! We had a late lunch, I ordered the shrimp dinner at $ 13.95. The shrimp were very small, no flavor and inside the breading they had a raw texture look. I have been coming here for years mainly for the burgers, but will not be back after this meal. Our bill came to $ 36 + tip for the two of us with tea for our beverage.

My family and I used to eat Jerry’s once(or twice) a week… We were regulars, and it was awesome. But one day, things started changing. About a year ago(give or take) they got rid of most of the old waiting staff that had been there forever! That was ok, the newer people were nice enough… But then came more changes. The worst of these changes was when they started charging FULLPRICE for side substitutions… See, you used to be able to order a meal(ie mullet dinner) and sub the fries for say okra and the coleslaw for fried green beans, and you would only be charged like .50 or something normal like that. Now they just disregard the up charge of the difference and charge you full price… For 3 of us to eat is was almost $ 70… My mother couldn’t believe it and when we asked if there had been a mistake we were told about the new policy… Don’t get me wrong, Jerry’s is decent… But not worth that price!!! So we haven’t been back since. Hope they change hands again one day and get back in the right track. I miss the unicorn cum(aka jerry sauce). If you’re looking for a good burger, try Georgios pizza across the street from Jerry’s! Best burgers in town and home made onion rings that will make you say«JERRYWHO?!?»!!!

Everything was quite tasty, but there wasn’t really a great sauce for the liver and gizzards, which were fried all the way and a bit dry and chewy. Fun place and sort of a novelty– probably this is a local legend that has a strong local following.

Growing up in East Hill Jerry’s was always an option for lunch and dinner. I remember they had the best burgers in town when I was younger. It has never been the same to me since the business was sold.(Yes, I’m aware it was sold a long time ago.) Burgers aren’t as good as they use to be but they are still super cheap. Milkshakes are really good because they are hand made. I love the Jerry’s sauce but I know how to make it since my grandma was friends with Grandpa.(Yes, the original owner.) Sorry to sound so un-Pensacola but it’s really nothing to rave over besides being super cheap. The place still looks the same as it did besides all the writing on the walls getting taken off.

I don’t want folks to expect the most delicious food in town due to this 5 star rating… I want ya’ll to expect the most delicious food under $ 10 in Pensacola. Classic Ptown establishment, friendly southern atmosphere, but most importantly — amazing $ 5 fried grouper sammy. BAM. When it’s that cheap, I can’t help but add in a made-to-order burger with jerry’s sauce for another three fitty… or perhaps a country fried steak sandwich if I’m feeling saucy.

This is my grandma’s favorite place in town. She brings everybody here. We had a couple of burgers and a BBQ pork sandwich with hush puppies, fries and fried pickles. The burgers were good, almost like fast food, but much better quality. The BBQ pork sandwich was great. Lots of meat and sauce, but still stayed together on the bun. The staff is super friendly and the service is very fast. Didn’t get a chance to try the famous milkshake, but that’s a good reason to go back!

Ate here yesterday, really enjoyed it! We ate at the bar and the service was pretty fast and definitely friendly. The menu has a lot to choose from, and the burgers were good! The atmosphere of the restaurant was fun, and had a really small-town dive joint vibe. It was pretty loud in there, but everyone seemed to be having a great time. It was pretty busy around noon when we went, for good reason! We particularly enjoyed the fries pickles, and the super cheap prices!
