Awesome menu. I recommend the pan seared gyoza to start out with. Sushi is tasty as well!

Great prices! The sushi was super fresh and the Chicken Katsudon was absolutely the best I’ve had in the southeast. Highly recommended.

Honestly. I liked sake café. I really did. The sushi isn’t really bad at all and the miso is good. Everything was fine until I saw it behind the scenes, this place is FILTHY everything is disgusting they pick bones from the fish you consume on dirty buckets in the back by the dishwasher with nasty water splashing all over it. The cups you drink from? Horrible. Vile. I was so embarrassed to serve a woman a Coke because I honestly couldn’t find a clean one so I found the best one. My trainer said that there were cockroaches in the ice good lord seriously? Not to mention the level of unprofessionalism by the management. They will never comp a meal say if a customer doesn’t like it or its foul and not good. No the server must pay for the mistake. Literally pay. The combination of filth, horrible management not only with servers but with customers as well, and just over all shabby. I will never again go there and I always tell people who they are giving their money to. Stuff like this just really ruins my eating spots because if the food is good but the place is horrible to their staff it honestly makes me not want to eat there.

The service is okay. The food is good. Best thing I have had here is the mango roll. It’s what keeps me coming back. Also bogo rolls throughout the week. The place is kind of small and crowded, and plays terrible muzak too loudly. If you go, try the gyoza, or the edamame. And obviously the mango sushi roll.

Have heard many things about sake café. Lots of people rave about the sushi. But when I walked in, I wasn’t impressed. Needs cleaning and renovation. Fast service. But only one women’s toilet and place was packed. From the crowd and previous patrons word of mouth– people like this place. But as a gulf breezer, Shan kishi has it beat! We got sushi roll– themed Halloween. Sushi eaters said it was great. Have had sushi catered by them with rave reviews! The ginger salad was good– dressing was delicious. Had nice acidity. Soup– had the miso and DH had the chicken. Enjoyed the chicken only. No shrimp appetizer. Took forever for sushi to come out. Rice was cooked and in our plate way before sushi got there. Had steak and grouper– but not much flavor. I’ll know tomorrow, evidenced by swelling, if the saltiness was overdone. It was fairly bland even the rice. Bottom line… We won’t be back, No offense to others who enjoy. Maybe it was off night but not willing to cross the bridge for Sake café.

Love this place. Sushi is cheap and it is great. Lunch specials are unbelievable! There is nothing else I can say besides consistent and very well priced. I will not stop coming back for more!

We used to live near this place and would frequently order out, they are usually very professional and even delivered our order a few times when they could, we now live across town and miss the yummy sushi, but we stop in any chance we get!

Wow! Really loved this place. I was in my way back to the Pensacola Airport from Pensacola Beach and was looking for a quick bite before arriving to the airport. My Unilocal did not fail me! I’m not sure why the restaurant was not packed because it was really delish!(It was a friday around 4PM). Anyways! The server was sweet and polite. The food was really good and the price was even better! They have Happy Hour everyday from 3−7pm and the prices are phenomenal! I got a snow crab crunchy roll, shrimp tempura roll, and a miso soup for $ 11! Hands down the best sushi happy hour. I would deff recommend this place!

Got the steak hibachi and it was delicious! I’ve tried a couple of other sushi/hibachi places here in pcola and I’d have to say this one is the best. Highly recommend it

The sushi is pretty good, but the overall experience does not make me want to return. Service was slow, there are many up charges, and, well, things didn’t settle well.

This place really disappointed me. Maybe I just caught them on a bad night, but my food was terrible. I ordered the chicken teriyaki with soup, salad, and fried rice. My chicken had a really weird smell. Almost like mildew. It really confused me and I didn’t know if it was just a smell from somewhere in the restaurant, so I asked my friend that was with me to smell my food to see if I’m imagining things. Nope. She smelled it too. On top of that, I don’t think it was even cooked right. So I tell my waitress, who was really nice by the way(only reason I’m giving two stars), that it smells weird and tastes bad and she brings it back to the kitchen and apologizes. The manager comes by and asks me what’s wrong, so I tell her, and then she comes back like 5 minutes later to inform me that the chicken tastes fine, and that it’s cooked all the way because she tried it. Umm what? How about«sorry you didn’t like your food, we won’t charge you for it». So they don’t charge me for the chicken… BUT they instead charge me for the soup, salad, drink, and fried rice all individually which ends up being the same about the meal would’ve been with the chicken. Real sly. won’t be going back.

Best sushi in Pensacola! Sake has been my go to for sushi since they opened and no other sushi restaurant will give you great presentation, prices, or service. The owner and his chefs take pride in what they do and always seem to be coming up with new and awesome things. Try the snowball as an appetizer or with your sushi!!!

This is a good solid sushi restaurant. No it’s not fancy and yes you have the occasional noisy Beni Hanna steakhouse thing going on sometimes. but the sushi is always very fresh the service staff members are always polite, prompt and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The place is immaculate and the owners always remember you! :-)

Best sushi in Northwest Florida! The sushi is fresh and the jalapeño poppers are to die for. Clean, fast and great prices. Great selection of rolls or create your own. Friendly and accommodating. Great cooked food, too! Plus hibachi! Very entertaining! We’re regulars and will be back again and again! Jeff

Awesome hibachi experience! Out of all the things on the menu my favorite thing is the fried rice. I don’t know why it’s so good but I can go without the chicken, steak, or shrimp. Lunch time is cheaper than dinner but the dinner portions are bigger than the lunch portions. Hibachi guys are always funny and do their presentation well.

Absolutely the best around. You will not leave here hungry. The portion sizes are amazing and the staff are very attentive. I make sure to come here at least once a month. I’m like the Norm of the sushi world! :p

From the outside it looks somewhat shady but the service and food were superb! Sushi was delicious: tender and fresh. The rolls weren’t just stuffed with rice as most sushi joints often do to fill you up. The price was just right too. We(two) had 4 specialty rolls, sake, soup, an appetizer, and Sapporo for $ 60. I recommend the sushi martini. Its a variety of fresh cut sushi and crab in a tangy sauce inside a martini glass. Only $ 6 for over $ 15 of sushi. Would make a great appetizer The service was excellent. Our waitress was very polite and the manager checked on us as well. Overall we were very happy with everything about this place. Go check it out!

Honestly. This was my last resort for hibachi. I needed a craving fix but the other two places we went to first had a wait of an hour. This place had no wait. We were seated at the hibachi grill right away followed by our drink order right after that. Not shortly after we got our drinks we placed our orders. And our soup and salad were out so quick we almost hadn’t had enough time to get a sip of our drinks in. As we finished our soup and salad the chef arrived with the meal to be cooked in front of us. The chef was okay he was very quiet and didn’t really preform very well but the food was awesome! Inside wasn’t extravagant by any means and the service was a little TOO quick?(Who ever thought that would be an issue???) but the food was ultimately the most important thing, and that was great! I’ll go back again!
