My wife and I were very disappointed. We didn’t enjoy eating any of the dishes since most of their food if not all were lukewarm. They have a small selection of food. The only plus side to eating here is that its cheap and affordable. Probably won’t eat here again.

Tried this buffet for the first time today and we loved it! It’s a small buffet, but the food is very fresh and very tasty. The staff is also very nice and attentive. The only reason that im giving it 4 stars and not 5 stars is because I missed them having crab rangoons. They had rangoons, but they were just cheese, no crab in them. Other than that, we loved the place and will definitely go back!

The noodles here are awesome. Fairly inexpensive, and we always get food to go. If you’re in the mood for Asian cuisine and you’re in the area, look no further.

This place is probably one of the cheapest in town as far as buffets go. Selection is slim, food is lukewarm, and some of it is downright iffy. I’ve been spoiled by King Buffet but this place is closer and cheaper. You get what you pay for.

Keep in mind that my five star rating is relative to chinese buffets only. Shanghai Buffet is fantastic. Sesame chicken is amazing. Price is great. Lots of choices. I guess the only downside is that the servers are a bit odd(different culture?), but not a big deal.

As far as American Chinese buffet goes, it doesn’t get any better than this. I have probably single handedly put some of their waiters through college. Always super friendly, and a consistent experience that meets expectations..

We’ve eaten here many times mainly because there’s not much else in the area. We shouldn’t eat here. Every time we do, we leave hoping we don’t get sick. The food all tastes very bland, not hot, not many choices. Only one small buffet with a side bar of fruit & desserts. I was hoping for more veggies but most of the food is fried or just mystery meat, nothing labeled or either mislabeled. It was cheap, $ 16 for meal & drinks for two. It’s also always busy. I don’t recommend.

Well. Two stars for being relatively clean(our dishes were clean but aged enough that they appeared as though they were chewed on by monsters) and cheap. $ 20 for two dinner buffets, a tea, and a tip. But the food was not good. Now, I’m a fat boy. I love food, must clean my plate, and have a serious problem not eating what is in front of me. This place tested me. I can only describe it as grade X typical American Chinese buffet junk, but worse, somehow, worse. It was busy, I’m not sure why. I can only imagine this place would be appealing to those who have kids and want cheap and quick accessible food in a raucous atmosphere. My wife has been complaining about the place for the last four hours and came home to eat cereal. I’m not that bad, but, I’ll never go back.

Love Shanghai. It’s not a huge buffet, but they’ve got delicious, hot food! I’ve gone for years, and it’s always on point.

Not much to choose from in Pensacola when I comes to Chinese buffets. This was adequate. A couple of types of sushi. Soups. Egg rolls — fried spring roll that contained meat. Definitely not a full blown buffet fare. Did like the batter fried green beans.

Food was so-so, lacking in flavor across the board. For the price it was adequate, but not great. The only Chinese place I’ve liked so far around Pensacola is Mr. Chen(take out, not buffet) — and I’ve tried over 10 restaurants around here. The service sucked, we were pointed to a table to sit at, so we sat, she brought our drinks after we told her what we wanted, and she just brought them out and didn’t say anything. After waiting for her to ask if we wanted buffet or menu for a couple min we decided just to get up and help ourselves even though my wife wanted a menu. The waitress hardly said anything the whole time. We won’t be going back.

The food is a hit or miss. I’ve been there several times over the past year and it can be good food but too often it is over cooked and dried out. They need to keep the buffet fresh and when they do it is good.

Fresh and tasty food, plus reasonable prices. Thought their sesame chicken, egg drop soup and fried chicken were stood out. Clean and nice place, situated in the Target mail. We would go back and recommend it!

We came here out of necessity. Where we wanted to try was closed on account of it being Sunday. I guess it’s a southern thing… Anyhow… sure, for the price I could eat and eat, but I would be eating the same thing over and over. The first Chinese restaurant I’ve been to that didn’t serve broccoli beef; big downgrade. Their potstickers were unstuffed and flat as a pancake tasting as you might expect. Their fried rice was dried out and lacking a lot of what you come to expect from fried rice. The teriyaki chicken was also dry which could have been helped had there been enough sauce for the chicken to marinate in. If you’re craving Chinese, take your 7 bucks and buy a sandwich at the firehouse subs next door and eat Chinese another day.

The sesame seed chicken is incredible! Best I have ever had. But the other items on the bar are just mediocre at best. Oh forgot, the fried dumplings are delicious too. I had the chicken on the stick which is good but it was room temperature. No mongolian beef.

The help acted as if they would rather be home watching television and the selection of food was not that great and looked as if it had been there all day. It a shame because it is in my back yard and would be so easy to like.

Two stars say… «Meh, I’ve experienced better» But to be honest, I have NOT experienced better. Unfortunately this is as good as it gets, and that ain’t say’n much. Why is it that every time I chance a visit to an Asian style buffet restaurant, I am confronted with the same poor quality food? It doesn’t matter where I am in America! Is there one and only one distributor of these same old, pre-packaged frozen yukkies? I don’t know how this food get’s 4 stars with 19 reviews. Perhaps the dinner trough is better than the lunch I had? I don’t mean this review to be a slam against this particular restaurant as much as the industry that created it. THEYAREALLALIKE! GRADE D! Enough of my ramblings friends. Let me leave you with this promise. I will NEVER review an Asian style buffet again! Because I will never go to another one! There’are too many great Asian restaurants out serving a fantastic ala carte lunch for $ 10. YMMV Mange’ Georgio
