Well-needed market in southern Pentwater. They usually have whatever you need(incl. ice, beer/wine, hard liquor). The owner(Vincent) and his wife(Lisa) and other family members work hard and keep the place open many hours for the town people, summer residents, and harbor visitors. Thanks!

Its just not that special. Would you like white bread or white bread? Potato or mac Salad? Yoders yuk or grandmas home made? You can get the basics barely and a few specialties but not that much. Go to Hansons in Hart if you want gourmet.

We have visited Pentwater for years, and Cenzo’s is a FREQUENT stop for us. They come equipped with almost anything the locals need as well as tourists like us, and they also have their own creations that are just great eats overall. The help there is always friendly, and you very rarely wait in line to check out more than a few minutes. From produce to popcorn, this place has it covered in this sleepy tourist town off the shore of Lake Michigan. I highly recommend it!

I was hoping this awesome Michigan resort town would have as good a local grocery as some others nearby do, and Thank God, it does… and then some! Cenzo’s is conveniently located right downtown, on the main road in, just before you get to the main drag in Pentwater. This basically a family run, gourmet, grocery store that manages to cover the bases from the basic necessities to local produce, wine, artisanal meats and cheese, small craft beers, and unbelievable sandwiches. They also carry a full line of pastries from a local baker. We’re talking class here. The family owns the grocery and a catering service and do both with care and professionalism. Open early, fully stocked, they were live savers and made the vaca great!
