Horrible frozen food reheated to your liking. I asked for a side of bbq sauce and they were out. They told me that they couldn’t get into the closet to get it until tomorrow. The burger with pork was awful! Frozen pork reheated to a mushy glob of gooeyness. We should have known when we looked around and the place was empty, there was a good reason why. Never be back, never!

GF and I went this past Friday night and it’s doubtful that we’d go back. We were seated as soon as we walked, which was nice, but they didn’t look very busy so we didn’t expect a long wait. Once seated, it took a few minutes for a server to show up(which was also the host). He took our drink order and 20 minutes later, I had my beer. 5 minutes after that, she had her glass of wine. He took our food order and 30 minutes later it showed up. For those of you scoring at home, we’re at an hour to get our food. The server/host apologized many a times for it taking so long(as well as to the tables around us). Once the food finally got to us, my Medusa was pretty good. She ‘built her own’ chicken sandwich. Having the chicken completely cooked should be an option for the build your own sandwiches. She had to send hers back because it was still pink. The server/host said he’d have a new sandwich made and came back a few minutes later to tell us they were going to take it off the bill. A minute later he returned to tell us they were not going to take it off the bill(?). Once the bill came, they did take it off, but it was very odd as to how it was handled. It made us wonder what in the world was going on in the back room. So… an hour and a half later we paid the bill and left, very unlikely to return.

Good service. Burgers were cooked as ordered and the toppings were great. Sweet potato and regular fries were standard, but good. Fried pickles were great and a huge serving. The horseradish aioli was all mayo with no taste of horseradish. Drinks and beers were pricey. I felt like the kids meals should include a drink…$ 7 for a grilled cheese, fries and lemonade is a bit much. All in all, good experience and wide variety of choices. I hope they do well.

I came here for Dinner and just had a burger and cheese curds. The cheese curves were amazing the burger was good too. Service was good and they were pretty fast on getting my food to me.

Decent place. Employees jacked around a bunch so that is a pain to order. I don’t care if employees chill out, but kick it around the corner out of site so it feels like a cool place. If it were normal joint(not all themed), this would be more acceptable but being is this is a new restaurant and they want new customers, I would fix this PRONTO or this place won’t last. Door person and initial host were cool. Food was good though as it was coming out they dropped it all and had to go make new. Sweet potato fries were the bomb. Get your stuff together a little more and you will be a really good place.

The«Adult» milkshake was great– I got the mint chocolate one(The Artimis). Grilled cheese was good, though the bread could be a little heartier, I think. The cheese curds are as good as you can get in Central Illinois. All of the prices were very competitive, and a little lower than we expected. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere is fun. I’ll be going back. I’d like to add two things after reading other reviews: I got the French fries and my husband got a horseshoe burger, and neither were standard or like Sam’s/GFS. Fries were crispy with a little crunchy batter on them. Also, there is a lot more décor now, and it’s really elaborate. I think they must have been working on these things since the first month they opened.

Standard burger place. You have to pay an additional $ 2 for fries… Frozen GFS fries unseasoned. Shit show of a service. Bland cheap atmosphere. I recommend The Burger Barge if you’re looking for fresh meat and a great atmosphere

Been here once. Very friendly staff. The food and the drinks were good. Drinks/Beers, were on the expensive side. The food was very very good, and priced well, with large portions. Great place for a date.

To say this place is unique would be a critical understatement. From the first step you take through the door(which they opened for us), you feel like you’ve just traveled into a another realm. If it wasn’t snowing I’d seriously be tempted to come in wearing sandals and a toga. Maybe next summer… Yes, it’s THAT Greek inside. You’ll end up reading the entire menu btw. It’s entertaining even if you’re unfamiliar with Greek mythology. If you’re affluent, you’ll want to take a copy home as a souvenir. Oh, and good luck making a selection! Everything sounds delicious and there are some very interesting a burgers on there. Couldn’t decide myself so I had to give our waitress 2 options and ask her to surprise me. She chose well. Then again, I haven’t seen a single thing come out of that kitchen that I didn’t want to snatch a bite of as it passed… I’ll be back and suggest that you give it a try for yourself. Stop reading this and get a move on it!

This place is the cuuuuuutest inside! I love all the decorations and the staff was so friendly and had great attitudes :) The food is great and everything on the menu looked amazing, even the drink menu with the adult milkshake and adult floats looked great. My only thing about this place is that it closes at nine which is too early for that type of restaurant. Overall will definitely recommend this place and I will come back again!

Unfortunately this is going to be a bad review. I normally wouldn’t nitpick every little thing but it got ridiculous very quicky. I stopped in at 1pm on a Thursday. I was the patron in the restaurant. I asked to be seated at the bar. The bartender asked me what I was drinking immediately. I noticed just about everyone that was working was hanging out in the bar. After I decided what I wanted to eat, I was forgotten about. After about 5 minutes I hailed a waitress over to take my order. I ordered a single burger, no question if I wanted a side or anything else. After she took my order, the bartender asked if I could go ahead and pay for my food since he needed to clock out. My burger came out very quickly without silverware or even a napkin. The burger was ok, nothing special about the ground beef. Plus the burger did not seem like it just came off of the grill. I wondered if it was in a warming drawer. While I was eating, another customer walked in and stood at the hostess desk for a few minutes. After she gave up on someone to seat her, she came around to the bar to see all of the employees screwing around. People wonder why restaurants fail, this is why. If you don’t feel important or even like you exist, you won’t come back. Food can only get you so far with a business. If I was the owner of this place I would be embarrassed.

A unique addition to the Peoria burger scene! Creative burgers, Brie anyone? Great grilled cheeses, and adult milkshakes! The sweet potato fries are delish and the regular ones are too. Don’t come here if you’re not hungry! Hope more people try it out!

Stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon. Not too crowded and we were seated immediately. Our server was prompt and friendly. We ordered two starters – the fried pickles and the cheese curds. Both were hefty portions and served hot. Our only complaint is that we waited and waited(probably 15 minutes) for the appetizers. When they finally came to the table, not even two minutes later, our food came out. So basically, all of our food came out at once. Overall, delicious food! My partner had a burger topped with pulled pork and cheese and I opted for the veggie burger. Both were giant! I got fries with mine. The fries were fries(as another reviewer mentioned), nothing too special. Skip the side of fries and split some appetizers with your table. My black bean burger was pretty standard as well, but the green goddess sauce on it was delicious. I would recommend they add some tomato or other veggies to make the Dryad burger look as epic as the meat ones they offer. Prices were reasonable(about $ 9 – 11 per sandwich, $ 5 – 7 for appetizers). I would definitely return based on the large portions of food. We wanted to try one of the boozy milkshakes but were just too full to order one. Other than the timing issues, it was a great experience!

Heard that Cerberus was celebrating being open for a month by giving away a free burger. I can’t pass that up! So, the burger was good, a bit heavy on bun and light on burger. They didn’t say if the burger was 8 oz. or not, but I am guessing it was either 8 oz. prior to cooking or it was less. But the flavor was good. The presentation was good. The place looks really nice inside. I went at 1:30, so it wasn’t busy at all. Food came out pretty quick. They have Greek-themed name for every burger. There are a lot of burgers to choose from. You can even build your own burger if you don’t like one of the ones on the menu. Prices are a bit steep. The burger I got was $ 9.95. The Centaur. Beef Patty, Horseradish aioli, brie cheese, slow cooked short rib, carmelized onion and topped with fried onions. The problem is that the burger is ala carte. You want fries as a side? Buy them. You want anything other than a burger on the plate, you pay for it. And at $ 10 for the burger, that quickly adds up. My meal was $ 13.95 for fries($ 2), iced tea($ 2) and a burger($ 9.95). The burger was free today, so I was out of there cheaper than that. But the burger wasn’t that much better than a burger from a different casual dining place that includes a side for the same price(Chili’s, Applebees, Red Robin, etc.) I prefer to support local businesses, so I would probably go again if I were in the area. The options for burgers are much more extensive than the mainstream casual dining places, so that’s definitely a plus. The other plus is all the varieties of seasonings for the fries. Not just plain fries(you can get that if you want). But I got the garlic fries and they had a good flavor to them. Lots of other options to try, so I have that to look forward to. Wait staff was nice and attentive. The place was clean and well-decorated. A good, solid effort. Let’s see if something can survive in that building. Torn between 3 and 4 stars. So I rounded up.

I’m always up for a burger and the Greek mythology theme piqued my interest so yesterday my family stopped in to try it out. We loves the décor. The Cerberus statue on the front desk was cool(I want one for my desk at work!) as was the Medusa head near our table. We ordered the loaded sweet potato fries and they were awesome. Great sauce and and all the toppings complimented the fries perfectly. My wife ordered the Hercules Grilled cheese.(The one with the rib tips — might have the name wrong). It was very good, but maybe slightly over cooked.(Not burnt — just a smidge extra crispy). We agreed that my burger was the winner. Perhaps inspired by the décor near our booth, I ordered the Medusa burger. It was awesome. We can’t wait to come back in and try out some«adult» milkshakes. We had great service and had a fun time. If you are looking for a great burger, stop in! (Only criticism — we waited a couple minutes at the front to be seated and we walked in at noon, but it was a snowy day and they could have been pulling double duty due to weather/snowbound workers. Maybe get a door buzzer or somehow notifies someone quietly when the door opens)

What a cluster fuck! I get that this is a new restaurant however I waited at the bar for 20 minutes for my drink with only 4 other people sitting there. No one has any idea what is going on in here. Hopefully my food is good but I overheard the kitchen is very backed up(even though there aren’t many people in here) so I’m sure we’ll be waiting a while(we only ended up waiting about 25 minutes for food so that wasn’t horrible). I would wait before coming here. Plus side, our waiter was nice, the hostess was awesome and the food wasn’t bad.

Ok, where to start with this place. First reaction, very nice place. Look at the specials, Wednesday night ½ off wine. Score! I decide I want a Malbec. I ask the bartender of the Malbec is Argentinian or Californian? He had no clue what I was asking. Then came the savior of my review, EMILY! She walked up knew what I was talking about and said Argentina. I am satisfied and order it. Then servers galore are asking her questions and she’s firing off answers like a machine gun. Needless to say she was very knowledgeable and knew what she was doing. With her in management and new employees this place should do well. Thanks Emily for knowing your stuff.

Cerberus just opened yesterday and we happened to be staying very close so we gave it a shot. We two adults built our own veggie burgers. The small guy had macaroni and cheese. Food prices are very good. Beer is a bit pricier. They score points for having Weihenstephaner on draft! The veggie burgers were pretty good. Fries were fries. Service was good. We weren’t seated for 10 minutes even though half the tables were empty — clearly they were still working some things out. The décor was super weird, though. If they’d have slapped a couple anchors on the wall it would have been a seafood place. The menu theme is Greek mythology but pretty much nothing in the restaurant suggested that at all. Given the theme plus the menu they should really rethink the décor. Peoria is a hard place to reliably find a veggie burger. We’d likely go back.
