I went once to this place. It was ok overall. Parking is limited. It definitely gets busy in here so there was some waiting but service was good and food was good.

Wow! Came here on a whim expecting it to not live up to the Unilocal reviews. I grew up in Peoria and so I’m used to things being a let down. However this is not the case at this café. They tell you that the food is fresh and made to order and they mean it. I had an omelet, and I could tell by the taste and texture that it wasn’t made from a premade whipped egg mix, but by freshly cracked and whipped eggs. My fiancé had classic eggs Benedict which she declared to have the best hollandaise sauce that she had ever tasted. They are not really all that pricier than other café’s in the area, and the quality of the food makes any extra expense well worth it. Be prepared for your food to take a little longer here. Remember it’s not actually normal for an omelet to be made and on your table three minutes after ordering. When that happens at a restaurant you know that short cuts have been taken. That being said, they have not been very busy the two times I visited, and the service has been extremely friendly and prompt. The building is very simple and clean. I like to think of it as they spend all of their time and effort thinking about the food instead of decorations! Be sure to support this place Peoria. I’ll be very disappointed in you if I come back in a month or so and the place is suddenly gone! PS: This is so far the only restaurant I’ve ever seen that actually makes their own corned beef hash on site. See my pic for the proof!

This restaurant is very nice. There is a casual atmosphere and all of the food is delicious. It even has things for people who don’t have that big of an appetite– their fruit parfait is one of the best I have ever eaten. I come here often and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Came here for breakfast with two companions. I got the chorizo skillet with wheat toast and bacon. Skillet was good, bacon fair. Wife got a decent omelette with a awesome giant pancake! Our other companion also got an omelette, the Midwest omelette, which she said was good however her side of grits she said were not good at all and only took a small bite. The place itself was pretty clean, a little barren and simple. I think I would go here again though. Next time I would get just a plate of pancakes because that was the best part.

This is a quaint little restaurant. Very clean. We came with a group of 6 and were greeted promptly by very friendly staff. Drinks and food were delivered quickly. The home made corned beef hash was heavenly. Seriously the best corned beef I have ever eaten.

This is a great little café in Peoria that is farm to table which allows their ingredients to be much fresher! My friends and I came on a Sunday morning and were seated immediately. Service was pretty quick and our waitress was very nice. There are a lot of options on the menu and I chose to order the Loaded Skillet which has country ham, bacon, cheddar cheese and smothered in sausage gravy. The skillet really was LOADED and my kind of hearty and totally unhealthy breakfast! My friends had the 2 egg platter and vegetarian skillet and both were more than satisfied with their choices. You can tell their eggs really are fresh because they look very different than store bought eggs. The yolks in these eggs are a much more vibrant yellow and taste phenomenal. At the end of your meal, you pay your bill at the register which is in the back of the café. I definitely recommend trying Fresh Table Café for their quality food and laid back diner atmosphere.

We live close by and came to this restaurant a lot when it was The Over-easy Café. We were worried when we heard it was changing ownership, figured that with the change to farm to table, the prices would go up. While the prices did increase, it was not as much as we expected. Can still get breakfast and coffee for two around $ 20. And, it’s all delicious! It’s our go to place since it is so close so we’ve tried a lot of the breakfast menu. My favorite is the veggie skillet, tons of fresh veggies, my bf likes the meat skillet, and the biscuits and gravy are also great– you can tell it’s homemade. We also went for lunch and enjoyed it, multiple things on that menu as well that we would like to try. I definitely recommend it!

Underwhelming atmopsphere. Food was okay but does not impress — even for Peoria standards. Comparatively Le Peep has better quality food, menu and atmosphere. Bathroom and kitchen both needed cleaning. Also I double checked with staff — this is not farm to table. They try to be «fresh» to table as much as possible.

I wanted to love this new Breakfast joint… But sadly it fell short. Best part of our experience was the staff, friendly and attentive. The only reason I gave an extra star. Be for warned of the sausage… loaded with sage and carroway seeds. The biscuits and gravy was overwhelmed with garlic! I love savory food but those 2 things just didn’t work for me(or for anyone else at the table). The spinach mushroom skillet was just ok. Oddly, the potatoes used in the skillet were like tator tots without ANY seasoning. They serve regular shredded hashbrowns, which were good, so why not use those in the skillet? Corned beef hash and cinnamon pancake was voted best the at our table. I’d still go other places in town for either of those. I support local restaurants and want local employers to do well. I just don’t think we’d consider going back without a few tweaks to their flavors. Best of luck.

Love the homemade sausage gravy. Thinner than most but with a taste of herbs. Staff is always very friendly. I’ve only had breakfast here but lunch specials always look interesting. Today’s lunch specials will be Chicken Cordon Bleu or Chicken Cobb Salad.

Stopped in for breakfast the other day with family. Really liked it. Love the idea of using all fresh ingredients. Really makes a difference in flavors. Staff was really nice. Has a nice casual feel. Can’t wait to check out what they have for lunch. Only negative thing I could say is the restraunt’s atmosphere. Its in a strip mall and has no decode or theme. Not much exciting to look at. However, none of that means anything to me, so I still give it 5 stars. I go to a restaurant for good food and service, and this place excels at both. Will definitely come back again.

New farm-to-table concept from the chef at The Edge in Peoria. Farm fresh eggs, amazing biscuits and sausage, delectable fruit bowls and a steaming cup of coffee were on the docket for me as I made my maiden voyage to the Fresh Table Café last weekend. Great service, friendly staff and did I mention the coffee? It was a fantastic way to start my Saturday. I’ll definitely be back!
