Ohhhh Sully’s! I don’t have too much to offer here as I stopped in VERY quickly before a Rivermen game… but I will say, they have great bar food and can get it to you quickly. We had about 20 minutes to get in and out(risky, I know) and I ordered a simple basket of chicken fingers. My friend got the reuben and she absolutely loved it. My chicken fingers were standard and delicious, and came with awesome honey mustard. The serving was generous, too. Our waitress knew we had to eat fast, so she brought our check out along with the food and we made it out with a few minutes to spare. Now that’s impressive! We both agreed that this place looked so fun, and I bet it’s a blast at night! If I’m ever in Peoria again I’ll stop by for a drink.

Bad mixed drink maker from the female bartender with black hair. I told her what I had asked for and she said«that’s the way that you make it. What do you want me to do about it?» I have a suggestion, how about try and make it again!!! I noticed that many either don’t order drinks or order bottled drinks. Need I say more?

Stopped in early(lunchtime) the other day looking for food and libations. Some decent beers on draft, but not many. Service was friendly, fairly attentive. Ordered a Caesar Salad and their artichoke dip. Salad was pub worthy, but that’s it. Decent size, but very plain, not much life. Dip was okay, and the chips were fairly fresh(check my pics). The check was a little higher than expected… Then came a nighttime visit… Place was rocking due to a conference in town. Plenty of business, you would assume, would lend itself to a more cheerful, amiable staff, well aware of the likely gracious gratuities proceeding them. But no, far from it. Just about every employee was a total douche. Especially one of the female bartenders. Didn’t catch her name, but she went out of her way to ignore and avoid us. Granted it was somewhat busy, but I’m 6’4″, 230 lbs, and with me practically yelling, standing on a bar chair trying to get any some sort of recognition, you would think would be possible. It has NEVER been a problem… Even a shut the fuck up or something, anything! But no, not even that. Walking back and forth, blatantly ignoring us for what really was not that busy of a bar at the time. Obviously we did something to piss her off. Not sure what… After about 10 minutes, a male bartender witnessed our pleas for help, and grabbed us some drinks. A most gracious tip was left for him in spite of the troll he had the unfortunate pleasure of working with. If you don’t like your job, let someone else do it k?! How the hell is it not common sense(as a server) that if you’re customers are happy, you should see it when it comes time to close out the tab?! This place is borderline as it is, so for anything less than a bare bones smile and a hello is beyond reproach. The bad taste left in my mouth from our recent(nighttime) visit has curbed my future business for good. The next time this anonymous conference is in town, I will for sure let everyone know where NOT to spend their money. PS Kudos to our lunch server/tender. She was nice…

This place is good for the music and dancing but that is about it. The drinks are not that good and the place is full of college students who are loud and rude. If you are like myself though, you like to drink with a more mature, laid back crowd. I recommend Hoops on Main st because I like the atmosphere and they have good food too. It seems like every time I go into Sully’s though, there is some kind of frat party or bachelorette event going on and those people are obnoxious.

One of the only places to dance in town, which means there are usually bachelorette parties and a decent ratio. After 9−10pm on the weekend they charge a $ 3 cover, which is kind of ridiculous for Peoria. Drinks are fairly standard, if not a little on the high side. Atmosphere isn’t very conducive to talking though, so if you’re looking to have a conversation go to Richards or Kellahers.

This is a run of the mill college bar. I came here with a few others on a Saturday night and we had a good time. This place is full of those aged 21 – 24. I felt really old being 27 and my friend 32. We still drank, talked to some fun Italian guys, and danced. Good times, but it did make me question my choice of bar that I go to next time.

I am usually here on the nights i go out, this would be the last stop before i call it a night. I tend to find the ladies that come here are a big«stuck up» and cant give back a friendly hello. I do like this place, I’m usually with my best friend, the music is good the scenery is all right. the prices are about the same as any other place and i usually run into some people i know which makes for a nice time.

Mother fucker has more shit on the walls than 15 Applebee’s combined! It’s like a junk yard made out with the entire place and left a lasting impression in the form of a shit-stain. Cheap drinks, sparsely populated, ‘kind of too bright’ are surmisings from my two visits. Fall-down drunk townies demanding shots. Spherically shaped women gravitating around the dancefloor. You know, Peoria. Still kind of half-assed sort of fun.

I’d say Jack O. is pretty accurate with his review. Kind of like a college bar and grill. Sandwiches and burgers are good, but nothing really outstanding. Can be fun at night but depends what night you go. Bars in Peoria don’t seem to stick around long and this one has been there for quite a while, so that says something.

By day it is a downtown lunch spot, by night a roaring bar. It calls itself an Irish pub, but I don’t see anything particularly Irish or pub-like about it. It strikes me as college bar and grill more than anything else. Nothing wrong with that, but nothing particularly special about it either.
