I like this place. It wasn’t busy and the employees were friendly. Greeted at the door and asked what I was looking for. Perfect! No wondering around looking for someone to help me. They had what I was searching for and it was 50% off. Bonus!

ABSOLUTELY A MUST –STOPBYANDCHECKOUT. I have purchased a lot of garden goodies at Hardware Plus. They are ALWAYS helpful and friendly. My advice-stop by. They have garden supplies, pet supplies, pool supplies and a whole lot more. I find them very reasonable if not cheaper than ‘those other places’. Let’s support this Arizona business-every purchase you make there puts money back into the state as well. It is a win win in my book. Michelle M. DDS

Hardware Plus is a great addition in Fletcher Heights to what was once an Ace Hardware. I first went here to have keys made. I end up getting a free key when the store had a promo. I have been back several times since, instead of driving far to Lowe’s or Home Depot. The store also sells pet supplies which make it convenient for dog owners. What I like about this store: clean, convenient, friendly staff and owner. They have all I need — from bolts, paint and even garden supplies. Big plus, it’s locally owned. What I spend stays in AZ.

Hardware Plus is located in the former Johnny’s Ace Hardware building. I happened to notice that it was open a couple of days ago. Needing a few home improvement items, and wanting to support local businesses, I decided to check this store out. Though it has most of the offerings that you would expect to find in a neighborhood hardware store, Hardware Plus ownership has also added an office/school supply section and a fairly large pet supply section. According to the signage on the front of the building, Hardware Plus also offers pool supplies. I was kind of surprised at the variety of sections within the store. I expected the prices to be a little higher than the large chains. That really wasn’t the case. For the two items that I purchased, my total was $ 1 more than I would have paid at at the bigger hardware stores(which would have been negated by the cost of gas to get there). Overall, this looks like a solid place for your hardware needs. The inventory may be low, but the friendly service and convenience are unmatched by the larger home improvement stores.
