Love their coffee, pastries, & brunch. One of my favorite places in Peoria. Had a pistachio sticky bun a couple weeks ago that was amazing. My only complaint is wishing they had a larger size. I finish their 12oz in about 2 minutes.(o:

Pleasant baristas, to whom are patient and willing to educate people in the ways of the coffee.

A little overpriced; not every chair was filled and it still took my girlfriend and I 15 minutes for our food. Even still, my food came five minutes before my coffee. Only three people were working here on a Saturday around noon. Just two coffees, oatmeal, and one airy pancake with some toppings was ~$ 25, and I felt very obligated to leave a tip because the iPad you use to pay for the food(with a card) emphasized leaving a somewhat generous tip. Don’t get me wrong though, the food was fairly fancy and it was delicious along with the top quality coffee, but the total was $ 28. It was also pretty hot. Atmosphere is hipster-ish and a little cramp, so if that’s your thing, come on in. It’s smaller on the inside than it looks on the outside, too. I do like how the place has a lot of wood finishes though. Sound bounces off the walls like crazy, so don’t gossip. One last thing, good luck finding the bathroom without asking!

We have been in Peoria for a year and a half and will be moving in 6 months. Waiting so long to try Midnight Espresso was a huge mistake. The food is tasty(I recommend the cornbread Benedict!), my pour over and cortado were top-notch, and the staff was welcoming and fun. This is a comfortable place that reminds me of my favorite coffee shops in Ann Arbor and Washington, DC, two towns I have missed very dearly during my Peoria exile.

Great coffee shop! I have enjoyed coffee from here on two occasions while visiting the area. The espresso here has a great flavor and isn’t bitter or acidic, but smooth and velvety. Earlier in the fall they had a Brown Butter Sea Salt latte and it was delicious! I had a Butterscotch latte this time and it was great. The baristas are friendly. My only complaint are the hours of operation… it would be nice if they were open later in the afternoon.

I steered clear of this gem for way too long because: curb appeal. Don’t let my mistake be yours! This is my favorite place now. Great natural lighting, friendly staff & excellent drinks. Top notch work, Midnight Espresso!

Best shop in town. They just take everything to eleven. Try the Miel Latte… it’s awesome.

Midnight if one of my favorite places. I used to go here and have coffee for hours while I worked. Its a very well designed, friendly and clean place. The staff is basically as awesome as the coffee. Be sure to try a black coffee when you are there. It’s not like anything else in town(but 3030 Coffee Company, because its their coffee. Duh.) They are not making small batch pastries in house. These are also worth the money you spend for it. A hidden gem with a loyal following. You’ll be fangirling over this place in no time. I promise.

This was my first venture into local Peoria since moving here two days ago. It’s such a cute little place! The staff is super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They handled my mother’s crazy drink order beautifully. The drinks are expertly crafted, and delicious! The goat cheese, spinach and mushroom flatbread was a gourmet snack. Very impressed. Odd location and slightly hard to find as a newb to town, but I’ll definitely be back here now that I’ve found it. Great place to sip a drink and work on finding a job!

I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is amazing. Their Mielle iced or hot is delicious. Great mix of cinnamon, milk, and espresso. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They don’t have much food but the home made snacks they offer are wonderful. The staff is very knowledgeable about their coffee and snacks. It’s a little small but quaint. A perfect place to catch up with a friend, do some reading, or homework.

It was my first time going here for coffee and definitely won’t be my last. The staff was so nice and very helpful. I had their iced vanilla latte and it was the best ice coffee that I had in a long time.

Wanted half decaf, half caffeinated. Barista said they couldn’t do it. Disappointed.

I was delighted to find this little coffee place during a trip down to Peoria. It’s got a surprisingly cool hipster feel. I ordered an iced root beer latte. It was pretty delicious and the root beer flavor was subtle. The people working were friendly and fast. There was free wifi too, always a plus. The only thing I’d say if that if you’re coming here to settle in and study, the environment is a little dark(though there are some great tables by a window).

Midnight is now among my favorite coffee shops I’ve ever been to. Everyone working was clearly very knowledgable, totally adorable, and personable beyond belief. The setup of the brew bar is absolutely lovely, and I very much enjoyed the iced root beer latte(because where the hell else could you possibly get that?). They also run a pretty fantastic Instagram page, for what it’s worth. Midnight exceeded my expectations tenfold in every regard, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough to anyone who is in the area! I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often.

I was in Peoria for the day for work, and needed somewhere to get some busy work done. Best place for that… a coffee shop! I seek out local businesses whenever I can and I found a gem today. My vanilla latte was delicious. The perfect hint of sweet vanilla without tasting syrupy. The space is small but well laid out with plenty of seating and the obligatory couch section in the corner, that I only wish I had 30 minutes to sit and relax in with my coffee. They use beans from a small business in California(Highwire), which I appreciate, and it was great quality. Two thumbs up!

It was a little difficult to tell if they were open or not, the sign is very small on the door so you can’t tell from the road. The employees were very friendly, a marked improvement over 30⁄30 where they get their coffee beans(I am merely a caffeine junkie and not a bean snobista so the ‘tude at 30⁄30 isn’t for me!) My iced latte was nice and strong and they have a cool text club program where you put in your phone number and they track how many drinks you buy to get a free one at some point. Plus saves paper on useless receipts, love it!

I live in Chicago and come to this coffee shop whenever I visit my family in Peoria. I don’t like latte’s, but this coffee shop makes latte’s I love. Just had the maple black pepper latte… it was perfection. Their drinks aren’t overly sweet(like starbucks and every other chain) and they have some of the best drinks i’ve ever had(and i’ve had a lot of coffee).

Nice little place. It’s a bit off the beaten path(i initially drove right past it, despite the best intentions of my GPS to tell me otherwise) and the hours are fairly limited, but, I got a very nicely done pour over of a bean from Costa Rica. I will definately swing by here again when I am in the area.

I was visiting home and saw this new coffee shop. Of course I had to try it! One of my favorite things to do is to try out new coffee shops, and this place did not disappoint. I ordered their specialty latte which was spruce and juniper. Sounds strange right? It was fantastic and just sweet enough. My friend ordered one of their regular coffees black and it was also very good. You know coffee is good when it doesn’t need milk or sugar! Will definitely stop by again next time I’m in town. I loved their décor too. Five stars!
