The best things about this place: the outside patio, the drinks and the view of the Illinois river, although it is across the street which kinda takes away from it… but c’esta la vie. Good place to have a beer and watch the water. You won’t see the sunset since the patio faces East but on a warm day it’s a cool dive bar on the river with a decent beer selection, which includes something other than Bud or Miller. I like their decoration attempt to pretend that it is a surfer bar on the West Coast and on a warm, summer day you can close your eyes and pretend too. The food was OK. The chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun was a bit dry, but the fried shrimp and cocktail sauce were actually really good. It is a BAR that serves food, so I wouldn’t expect much in that department. The service was top notch. The waitress was frequently visible and friendly. No complaints there. I’ll definitely be back for a craft beer and the view.

We like their pizza and it is 15% off on Sunday. And a nice view of the river. However, the past two times we have gone the music has been so loud that it is unpleasant. We won’t be back until we can sit outside on the deck. Hopefully the music is not so loud out there.

Rude owner. Will never go back and drop money to a business where the owner has no class.

The bar is as close to my place as it gets! We got here usually 1 or 2 times per week The service is pretty good. they have been changing their waitresses recently because some leave for school, having kids, etc. Everyone is very talkative, and very friendly here. The owner is frequently here, and is very friendly himself! The food is great here! I have had all the burgers, and my fiancé has had most of the sandwiches. Wednesday they have cheap taco and taco bowls. They have a nice deck area overlooking the river. Different nights of the week, they host things like karaōke, trivia night, etc. I have no real complaints about this place, but it would be nice to see some more consistent waiting/bar staff. Second closest bar to my house. It’s a decent dive bar kind of place although the regulars can be kind of annoying and obnoxious sometimes. For what it is, it’s a bit on the pricey side of the equation, particularly the food. They do have an olive burger on the menu, which I find to be something of a rarity here in Illinois. I generally get this when I stop in for lunch, although the consistancy of the food is hit or miss. I’ve been in there with friends and had absolutely phenomenal burgers, and I’ve had the exact same order that has come out totally over cooked and dry. It seems to be a bit of a crap shoot with the food quality coming out of the kitchen sometimes.

This is literally the worst restaurant I’ve been to in Peoria. If you are going here to have some drinks, that might be OK, but the food is terrible. I ordered the pork tenderloin with fries for lunch. The sandwich had nothing on it. I had to ask for lettuce, tomatoes and onions. The waitress brought out the condiments at a later time but didn’t bring any onions. There was almost no meat in the tenderloin. It was more like eating a fired pancake sprinkled with bread crumbs. What a disappointing sandwich. I ate two bites then couldn’t stomach it anymore. So I thought I will just eat the fries. Well I put some ketchup on it and started into the fries. Something didn’t smell right… the ketchup was fermented!!! or maybe contaminated with beer. It was gross. I was at a table of 6 and people around me confirmed the smell of the ketchup as being off. I told the waitress and she apologized but didn’t bring new ketchup nor did she offer a remake of the food. In hindsight I should have refused to pay the bill. Terrible food, terrible service. Stay away from this place. BTW, updating my review. 1.5 years later, this is still the worst restaurant that I’ve been to and unfortunately, I eat out a lot more than I want to because of travel/work.

When for lunch and they were out of a lot of food. Owner was very rude. Chose to leave immediately and they still charged us for our sodas that we didn’t even touch. Would deftly stay away from this place

Great place to have a beer and watch a game. Did not have any food, so I cannot rate that. Nice deck and bar area to relax with friends. Owner and waitstaff are friendly and accommodating… Relaxing atmosphere. mature crowd.

A real good place to stop for a nice view of the river. It’s right of of route 29 and have a nice outdoor deck to enjoy a cold one. They have some great food as well. We had the loaded nachos that were good. I also got the olive & Swiss burger which hit the spot. My gf got the fish sandwich which she enjoyed. a great place to stop at and enjoy.
