We have been pleasantly surprised the last 3 times here. Great, fresh seafood, in a clean nice atmosphere. Our servers have been wonderful, with great timing. Not hurried, but not waiting on things, either. Alexa was training, and was doing a great job. Overall I would highly recommend. Not your usual chain experience.

Great experience. Came here for lunch; my friend and I both got the AYCE Shrimp promo special — $ 16.99pp. Server was very attentive on soda and shrimp refills. Biscuits came out fresh. Everything tasted great, was accurate, and was timed to the tables with perfection; as is all of my experiences with this company’s locations I’ve been to. Very clean atmosphere. I consider this a «cheap eats» restaurant due to it’s pricing structure for the fare they provide. $ 16.99 for all you can eat shrimp with a variety is cheap and they have lunch promos down to $ 7.99 for the budget minded individuals.

Awesome food, love the biscuits, and the prices are decent. Endless shrimp is by far my favorite Red Lobster promotion.

Should have know better. «Seafood» in the Midwest is a misonmer. For take home, go to the end of review. I chose the blackened catfish, since catfish is the only local item on the menu. What came out probably was catfish frozen since the last millenium. A 3 ounce portion, the tail end(read remnant) is served with greasy fresh green beans. cost 10.95. Ambience generic blandness Company: delightful as we took my mother in law(85) and her bestie(90)’ both of whom loved their shrimp scampi. That merits the one star. service passable Huge selection of fried, soaked in butter, breaded, coconut dipped, seafood of unknown age. Take home: save up your money and splurge on the Fish House — seafood that was alive and kickin and one point.

Food was good but took well over hour to get our food. Getting drinks, salads etc was very slow.

As far as red lobster goes we were disappointed. :/We went for our one year anniversary and were disappointed in our food. Our salads were way overdressed and swimming in dressing. The salmon my husband had was lacking in any flavor. The shrimp are usually large and full but were tiny and tasted boiled, not grilled. My Alfredo was soupy and watered down. On a bright note our server was good. I felt bad he had to keep apologizing about the long wait or the fact they were out of take out boxes. Overall we usually love RL and were let down this time. :/

For those steep prices, I expected better. Service was good but the dishes were too salty and buttery. At those prices, I’d rather go to Olive Garden for way better food quality.

Having grown up in New England around great, really fresh seafood, I have always been a bit of a snob when it comes to seafood restaurants. That said, Red Lobster is actually pretty good. They offer a lot of fried options, but if you go with the broiled or grilled options they do a good job. Tonight I had the grilled salmon from their daily«Fresh Fish Menu», and it was very well prepared with a nice sauce. Kevin had the parmesan chicken alfredo and it was quite good. The alfredo was more like a mac & cheese which made it extra good. Oh yea, can’t forget the awesome biscuits, just gotta be careful not to eat too many. We also started with their crab stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, you can’t ever go wrong with those. We were seated quickly and the service was spot on, an overall very nice meal. This is one of the very few chain restaurants that we actually enjoy going to on occasion.

Just driving in from Portsmouth, NH I have no idea what made us want to come try Red Lobster. Though I was absolutely pleased with our orders and serivce. I ordered the $ 15, 4 course meal and the Fiancé ordered the catfish. No complaints. We did however end up doing the only two ULTIMATE sins of going to Red Lobster. First, we got full on the biscuits. Second, we didn’t take any biscuits home!!! We’ll meet again, Chedda’ Bay Biscuits! We’ll meet again.

I’m not one for seafood but I came here on a double date with some friends who were in the mood for seafood. The wait wasn’t too bad being a weekend. We were sat within 15mins of adding our name to the waiting list. The staff was friendly and courtious and attentive to us which is a huge plus for me and my friends. I had the fettuchni and the rest of the table had the seafood platter which was one of the special’s for Sat. They seemes to like it and were pleased with it. I believe one had the endless shrimp platter and he was definitely taking advantage of that and was pleased with the flavors they had to offer. The restaurant was clean and had a good atmosphere with all the tables around us having a good time along with ours.

Awesome place with Warm feeling. Cool visuals of sea fish, and creative names of ships on walls. Small bar with two TVA in the corners. Very clean floors. Waiters very polite, professional, and sharp. Fast, and good service. Best Mashed potatoes I’ve ever had. Very soft and salty salmon and fantastic tasting popcorn shrimp. Peach Iced Tea is a favorite. Keeps the peachy taste but doesn’t mask the feeling and taste of original good iced tea(unsweetened).perfect location. New fab. Restaurant around here by far.

I can admit it, occasionally I go to chain restaurants(especially when I have a gift card, love the free money ;). I have to say that my recent visit to this chain has set it apart from the other big box eateries. Here are some highlights: 1. A lot of famililes go here. That means some crying kids but it also means that 90% of the people waiting for tables are in the waiting room and not at the bar. Score 2 drinks while we waited, also could’ve had time for an app at the bar. 2. The servers deal with such high volume, they know what they are doing. Ours was young but she had great timing, even while co-serving a table of 12 nearby. When she brought our food, we both had the Pick 2 option and each had a sirloin. She specifically asked us to cut into them to make sure they were cooked correctly. I usually do that anyway, hopefully before the server walks away but it was nice that she asked and waited. Especially because mine was well done instead of medium! She immediately asked if I wanted a replacement or something else. I asked for a replacement. The manager came over and looked at the steak and agreed it was incorrect and told me it would be taken off the bill. I thought she meant the upcharge for the steak BUT she meant my entire meal! That is really impressive customer service in today’s world of nickel and diming every extra mushroom and piece of asparagus! 3. The bathroom was really clean. A small but immensely important detail. This location is always busy, parking lot never seems less than half full even on weeknights so they are definitely doing something right.

Horrible. Service was bad both times I went. Food was way too greasy and salty. I’m not picky, but this place I will never visit again. I have heard some of the other red lobster restaurants are pretty good, so maybe its just this one. I will try the on in Bloomington and compare. I am only giving one star because this site forces me to save my review

I’ve never been a huge Red Lobster fan, but my father in law wanted to go here for his birthday. I figured I would play it safe with fried shrimp, a baked potato and broccoli. The food is to be expected, it’s alright. My only food complaint is that everything here is super salty. Even my broccoli was covered in salt. If you love salt, this is your place. Our server was friendly. We had some things forgotten(no baked potato, missing utensils) but it was a busy Saturday night and things were brought out eventually.

While I’m not a fan of seafood, I’ve never been let down by Red Lobster. They have a lot to offer from crab legs, lobster and scallops to steak, pasta, and their famous Cheddar Bay biscuits. The staff is always professional and courteous. The dinning area is always clean and has a nice dimly light atmosphere. The last time I went here was with a group of 12. They gave us 2 waitresses to expedite the ordering and keep our table happy. They did a great job. No one at our table ran out of a drink and we always had plenty of biscuits. The food was also amazing. I had an alfredo style pasta. A couple of the guys at the table ordered steaks and they kept talking about how great they were. They continued to complement the food after we left the restaurant well into the evening. We gave an excellent tip that night. I am a repeat customer and a fan. I must admit to a strange occurrence however. Whenever I eat here, I always end up talking like a pirate after leaving. It may be the atmosphere or may be the tasty cocktails they offer. Either way it makes for an interesting end to a delicious meal.

Mediocrity at its finest. There are a few areas where you can go right here — namely the fried shrimp or the simple preparations of whole fish fillets — but stray outside and you will find some truly terrible food. A caesar salad here is limp romaine coated in a gloppy mayonnaise doing a poor impression of caesar dressing. The calamari appetizer looks amazing when you first get it, until you realize that 50% of what’s on the plate is loose breading. Sauced fish comes out drowned in often sickeningly salty sauces. The service is good, and the restaurant is always clean, so those are pluses, but they don’t help much. You can absolutely have a decent meal here — I’ve had it happen once or twice — but the menu is a minefield of total failures. If you like good food, go somewhere else. [snob alert] If you like Red Lobster… I can’t help you.[/snob alert]

I know, I know. it’s a chain, but so what? I LOVEREDLOBSTER! There, I said it. I’m a chain restaurant slave apparently. Anyway, they are rated one of the healthiest chain restaurants by Men’s Health, and for good reason: their plentiful fresh fish menu! I absolutely love their blackened salmon with a spicy glaze – delicious. I am also partial to their perfectly seasoned steamed broccoli and baked potato w/butter. Oh yeah, the ceaser salad is pretty damn good too. Don’t forget their biscuits! This is why I go here at least once a month.
