Clean and friendly. We stayed here for a couple of nights when our power was out due to a storm. It comfortable enough for us during an unpleasant circumstance. Nice to have a suite with a full kitchen while we were unable to use our own home. Cleanliness is always my main concern when I stay at hotels, and I had no complaint at this hotel.

Pretty solid Residence Inn. Like some have said, the location is awkward to get to, but only once.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The rooms were clean and pretty well maintained.
My criticism is the wood floors are creaky, and in some rooms the contractors were drunk and put the toilets super close to the bathroom walls.

Nice reply but note they don’t address the real complaint–
1. Favoring a long term guest (for whatever reason) over a long standing reservation because they want that customer and to book that room out for months– reservation? So what.
2. Over charging for the inferior room next door.
3. The fact there are comparable rooms around town.
It’s all about the $$$$$. I won’t be back. Period.

Personally, this is a great hotel. The prices are good and my minimal interactions with staff have always been good. The rooms are a good size with a full fridge, stove top and dishes inside so you don’t have to spend a ton eating out. Having a seperate bedroom and living room area with a door seperating the two is also great if you’re traveling with multiple people.
Also, I find the hotel to be very well maintained and very friendly. Sometimes going for lower prices sacrifice these things but not here!

The hotel was recently remodeled. Our room was modern and spotless. The pool was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful with good quality food. We would definitely satay again.

Hotel selection in Peoria leaves a lot to be desired. This Residence Inn is old and doesn’t feel like anything has been updated. Every room I’ve stayed in had the smell of cigarette smoke, though some worse than others. The staff is friendly and accommodated two room change requests on different visits — one because the power in most of the room failed and one because the smoke odor was overwhelming. There are better deals with higher quality in the city, but when making last minute reservations, sometimes this is the only option.
