Actually 3 stars may be pushing it a bit but the staff was so nice they earned it. Had a gyro and it was OK, nothing special about it or the fries. Also had a Chicago dog, which was a bit overpriced and also tasted OK, but it did fill the hole.
The place was empty and kind of cleanish but I would’nt eat a french fry if it fell on the bare table. I think they try hard to be good, they have a bit further to go though.

What a gem! If you are looking for fancy décor, this isn’t the place. However, if you want great gyro’s good prices and a friendly staff, this is it!

Gyros were good and Chicago dogs also. Friendly staff and decent prices. Food takes a little longer to get than some of the other gyros joints I’ve been too but made to order food is worth it. I’ve been several times and have not been displeased. Reminds me of the gyros joints in Chicago. If you want to stay away from typical fast food and support family business go there.

I personally love this place! I have had just about everything on the menu and its wonderfully tasteful. The employees are very nice and always seem to be happy to see me, either in the drive throw or dining in. Most of them already have my drink in hand and ready to take my order ;-). And talk about supporting the Community! My mother owns a restaurant, and when she was having hard times… this place stepped up and tried to help. Thank you Super Gyro’s!

So I come in 15 minutes before close and I’m expecting bad service. However, the lady who served me was fantastic! I heard about this place and wanted to try it out, it’s a great substitute for fast food! The gyro meal was great as well. I’m from delaware and there is a gyro cart at the university of delaware but it doesn’t compare to these. I just wish it had a more modern atmosphere but what can you do in east Peoria. Beggars can’t be choosers. I recommend this to anyone.

I was a little unsure of this place however I’m was really craving a Gyro and was leaving town and it was on the way. I went with my wife and kids. I was pretty pretty impressed in the cheeseburger my son got and he shared that it was pretty tasty. My Gyro wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but I was pleasantly surprised. They give you plenty if meat and the bread was nice and soft. I just wish the meat had a little more flavor. The fries were really tasty!

I go back repeatedly for the gyros plate. It’s in a former Wendys so it’s a bit beat up which is fine. It’s a gyro joint like every block in Chicago. It’s very good. And we’re not in Chicago.
