Great atmosphere and friendly staff! I had a Filet that was awesome, the flavor was incredible. You must try this place.

Met friends for a Christmas get together and was pleasantly surprised! Had not been here in a couple years. The bar tender started us out with great drinks, the waiter was knowledgeable and confident, the water boy was great too! The food was good, steak cooked to perfection and sea bass really good as well. Dessert options a bit limited and I think I had caf in my decaf, overall a great experience and good quality food, preparation and service!

Food was great as was the service and ambiance. Fairly pricey but enjoyed our visit. We ordered the baked brie, curried rice, and vegetarian pan pizza. All three were very tasty.

We came here for our first dinner as a married couple and they took such great care of us, even gave us complementary cake to share! The 30 layer potatoes was to die for and our server gave outstanding recommendations on wine! Definitely coming back!

A really nice restaurant. The food is really good, we tried the vegetarian pan pizza and breakfast buffet. The pizza was very tasty and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The buffet had an omelette station, waffle station, breads/bagels/muffins and jams, hash browns, and many more items. The customer service is pretty good and friendly. I would recommend this place for everyone to try!

My wife and went to Two25 tonight. We both ordered steak. Our server Donna, was knowledgable and friendly. The meals were served promptly. We each had the House salad, and beans, and garlic mashed potatoes with our steaks. We ordered both steaks cooked medium and arrived cooked perfect. Both steaks were flavorful. The bus staff was attentive and only cleared plates after asking. My only issue was the full service bar did not have frozen blended drinks. The wine list is extensive. My wife and I will be back and bring friends

I ordered take out from Two25 this evening to take back to my hotel. I ordered the spicy Thai curry with chicken. I only got a glimpse of the interior of the restaurant, but it looked really well decorated and cute. The food was good– the curry sauce was just enough spicy. But, the dish came with onions, and it doesn’t say onions on the menu. Also, l ordered dressing for my salad over the phone, but it didn’t come with any. But besides that, the food was good.

It’s been too long since I had such a good meal. Great service: friendly, competent, not cloying, perfect timing. Everyone loved their meals. My filet mignon was just such a solid entry: tender, tasty, more than I could eat. Next time I’ll order one level more rare, I think. The potatoes au gratin are not your churchy potatoes au gratin. These were ridiculously thinly sliced with super tasty Gruyère. Green beans were the perfectly crisp tender. Companion had the diver scallops and lurved them. The purée might be the tastiest baby food ever. Just want to also note that martinis were great: huge, smooth, ice cold and topped with scrumptious stuffed olives. My companions enjoyed their wine flight. Might try the craft bear next time. The crème brûlée and key lime pie were chomped up faster than the chocolate cake. Destihl still has the best chocolate cake, guys. Port wine was a great finale. Atmosphere is quiet enough to talk but not library quiet. Live music outside sounded great but we went for the a/c inside. Overall, really very nice. A bit pricey compared to the competition – but worth every penny! We will be back.

Overall, amazing and you must go. We walked in at 925p, so they took us to the bar area. It was soooo loud, and we asked to get seated somewhere quieter. They were very nice even though it was 30 min before closing. We saw other diners do the same. Maybe you can still utilize a small part of the dining room at the end of the night because I cannot imagine anyone wanting to dine in that noise while 10 shots were being served. The food was amazing. This place is a must-go for a special occasion. I have never eaten beef that was so good, and I am not a fan of beef to begin with. The service was excellent and she was very kind and classy. I have no complaints about the service. We spent about $ 100 I called back the next day about a small mistake on our bill. The manager was great to deal with and agreed to correct the credit card charge without arguing.

Yes, I’m from NYC, but I’m not a food snob. This may be Peoria, but My meal here was OUTSTANDING. Broadway all the way. From my bizarre request to have a Manhattan made with aged rum, to the 5-star Scallop main course, all simply stellar.(I will be experimenting with Cheesy CAULIFLOWER Grits as soon as I get home.) A VERY sophisticated wine list is available with a good number of memorable blends, my favorite. The service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere, charming Lots of sincere smiles. My ONLY complaint is the place is too damn COLD. I LOVEAC, but not when my meal gets cold in less than 5 minuets because of it and it’s only May.(THATS how good the food was. it didn’t seem fair to punish the chefs reputation when he is clearly entitled to a 5-star review. EATHERE… NOW.

My mouth is watering just thinking about the scallops dish I had last night. Holy moly was that thing amazing. 3 good sized scallops on a bed of the most incredible concoction known to man: buttery, cheesy pureed… cauliflower?! Yes, cauliflower my friends. Two25 has devised a way to make it as decadent as their layered au gratins. Then they just went all in and topped it with plentiful fresh chopped bacon and corn and I don’t even know what all because I was contemplating licking the plate clean of that cauliflower. I think this may only be a seasonal dish although I hope it stays through summer because I need to eat it about(Two)25 more times! The salad could use some work, lettuce appeared to be wilted iceberg. Might substitute a spinach salad on my next visit which is hopefully tomorrow ;) But with awesome service from Gary and my favorite wine of all times: Whitehaven, that salad isn’t enough to deduct a whole star.

We stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night around 6:00. We were able to be seated in a bar booth right away. The LED booth lighting was great for menu reading, but maybe a tad over bright for dining. We started off with a basket of mixed warm rolls with delicious salted butter that probably should have been pried away from me. The small salads had a nice presentation with mixed greens, mine with a light balsamic dressing. I ordered the filet madeira with garlic mashed potatoes, medium rare. The potatoes were smooth, the green beans decent, and the filet was wonderfully tender, prepared to temp and nicely seasoned. We’ve been here for drinks many times and Shane is a machine… this time was no exception. He does a great job with service and also with wine suggestions. By the way, Two25 offers nice wine selections. We went with a bottle of Michael David Petite Petit. During our dinner there was also live music provided by the Ed Kaizer Trio. All in all, a delicious, relaxing evening.

My fiancé and I took a trip down to Peoria for the weekend had reservations here. The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and I’ll be honest, it was the best calamari I have ever had. Instead of rings, they cut them into strips. For entrees we ordered the filet and the crusted salmon. Both were amazing. I did have an issue with my steak being over cooked. However, the waitress politely took it back and brought me a perfectly cooked one. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I am sad that they are not located in Chicago. I highly recommend to anyone to go here!

Good food, fast service. If you’re staying at the Mark Twain hotel, you can’t beat the convenience. The scallops were surprisingly good. They give you drink vouchers for breakfast and happy hour if you’re a hotel guest. Breakfast, dinner, drinks, and your bed in the same building. Score.

I will keep this one short… The pizza buffet during lunch is pretty good, lots of choices, and the thin crust is crispy with a little chew to it, which is nice. The salad bar contained fresh veggies typical of a lunch bar. The staff have always been polite and competent, glasses are refilled regularly, etc. They are not intrusive, but attentive. I will return.

Five of us had dinner midweek here. For my dirty martini, they specially stuffed my olives with blue cheese which were delicious! We split stuffed mushrooms and fried calamari– all good hot and fresh. The calamari were particularly tasty because of the shape– more like fingers than rings. The Caesar was boring maybe not worth paying the extra charge to substitute. My lamb was outstanding and cooked to order. There were 5 racks so I shared and the lucky recipients said they wish they had got the lamb. They did not have baked potatoes. And they were out of the cheesy layered potatoes that they are famous for. I finished with the Turtle sundae which was amazing.

We decided to try this place to see what the hype was all about. Our friends recommended this place and had great to tell about this place. I admit the ambience of the place is classy and great. Despite making reservations we had to wait for 10 minutes to be seated. The menu has fancy food which I couldn’t wait to try. Started with calamari appetizer and a orange basil martini. The appetizer was mediocre and drink was horrible. Both items looked great at presentation but awful at taste and flavor. I ordered the spicy Thai curry for main course which was disappointment beyond belief. It had indian curry flavor to it and for the first time I saw brocolli, cauliflower in my Thai curry instead of bamboo shoots and basil leaves. I told my waitress I didn’t like the dish because it wasn’t what I had expected. She didn’t offer to replace the dish and explained that this was their take on the Thai curry. It was indeed mixed with Indian curry paste to make the dish spicy. My boyfriend had ordered ribeye which was really good. I found the service to be mediocre again just because our waitress could not find the time to check on us in between when we wanted to order another drink or making courtesy check on customers. I was charged for the dish I did not like; ended up setting it aside. I did not like the fact that our waitress was not trained to offer options under the circumstances. At the end, I feel as long as you order basic dishes like steak, you won’t be disappointed. Stick to basics because for fancier things this place has a whole different take to it.

We went for«sweetest day» in October. Surprisingly, the restaurant wasn’t packed. The service was good; our sever was polite, quick, and helpful. The food is hard to rate; I ordered the filet which was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! My boyfriend ordered the lamb and found it to be much too rare(which says something because he usually doesn’t mind rare-ish food). He found it difficult to eat. The best part of the evening was spending time at the bar after dinner. They have a fabulous wine selection, so we decided to share two different red wine flights. The bartender was funny, knowledgeable, and attentive. We will go back just for the wine and bartender again. He really made our evening memorable.

I so wanted to find a place in Peoria that lives up to the hype. Alas, I shall still keep looking. Went here for dinner and found that it’s not so bad, for Peoria. I had a seafood dish which combined scallops, mussels, lobster, sea bass, potatoes, and shrimp together in a delicious broth that combined tastes and textures which pleased my palette. The Brie appetizer was a typical philo covered brie with some crackers and grapes and a high-fructose strawberry jelly out-of-a-jar that laid(based on a wonderful person who gave me feedback on my review, changed«lied» to «laid») on the cheese. The mixed drinks lacked innovation or oomph. The service… well, there were no redeeming factors there. Lucky for servers, even if they’re horrible, I tip at least 15% because part of me wanted to do nothing. He was not personable at all, never greeted himself, and seemed rushed with the 3 tables he had. Being a past server, I know how to handle service. In summary(felt like I was finishing a paper there), go for the food, but leave knowing service may not be that great.
