… Every weekend the deli stop is a ritual for us. As someone else said. This place is a gem. Try it… you won’t regret it. Next time I’ll post a picture.

This General store & Deli is a little gem, and good thing, since it is the closest thing to my house (: they have more of a selection than it looks like from the outside, and the deli food is so good, people are always going through there, so the food is always fresh.

I’ve been going to the general store for about 15 years now and still great service great food. Sandwiches and tacos are both very good. You can also pick up anything from cold beer, soft drinks, lotto tix or a can of beans. Since no other stores are close this is the spot to stop.

This little store has the best sandwiches around. Bread and meat is always fresh. Prices are really good too. And then there’s the tacos on Friday and Saturday they are amazing. They also always have fresh meat for a last minute dinners. Staff is always friendly and helpful can’t say enough about this place…

Love this place for sandwiches, places like D’Elias grinders Subway and Jersy mikes, should go here to learn how a grinder should be made. Lake Mathews General Store always have done it rite for years. No need for me to get ripped off at those other jip joints.

If you grew up 50 years ago then I am sure this is what you would remember a general store being all about! Friendly people, great food, good beer selection, and full of snacks that are fun to splurge on!
This place has a deli inside that makes amazing grinders fresh to order! They also have some premade for those that need to get in and out quick. On the weekends they cook meat out front on the grill and do street style tacos! OMG! They are so good and worth having to wait for the weekend to get. The people are very friendly and are the kinds that would open a tab for you if you forgot your wallet or something like that.
If you are driving through this place is worth stopping at! YUM!
