Come to this place when I crave Hawaiian Food. But I usually stick to the same order everytime I go which is pretty much just Spam Musubi and Chicken Katsu. Spam Musubi is a decent size, enough to get you somewhat full. Chicken Katsu is always made to perfection as well. I tried the Island Fire Chicken. Different, but good. I just didn’t like how half of my entrée was onions.

I was disappointed with the quality and quantity with the food. I ordered the chicken katsu meal which included a very small portion of chicken katsu with rice, mararoni salad, and steamed veggie. I paid over $ 14 for the meal combo… kinda expensive for a fast food meal. The katsu was over fried and hard to chew. I was still hungry leaving the restaurant after paying over $ 14. I saw it as a «loss-loss» situation… very disappointed for a well known Hawaiian restaurant chain in Cali.

The katsu chicken and bbq beef are pretty good. Portions are slowly getting smaller with repeat visits. I want to give this place 3.5 stars but the app isn’t cooperating, so they get 4. Service for take out orders is fast and staff is friendly.

Used to be one of my favorites. Still tastes great but they made some unexpected changes and did not mentioned then when ordering. It is a 14 mile round trip to get takeout from Ono from my house so I was a bit disappointed. I really enjoy the steamed cabbage and amazing macaroni salad in the plate lunch. Both gone. Now you get more rice to fill up the box and lettuce salad with Asian dressing. It was good but not what I expected. And did I mentioned they now charge extra for beef bbq In the pick two?

Always tasty and quality food. Today my order was incorrect. The server at the counter was busy with a line of folks, and the Manager/Supervisor on duty was at a table trying to get some lunch down. She saw me waiting patiently at the counter, stepped in to hep, resolved the concern and helped out the server at the counter until the line of folks shrunk. Well played. You never get a second chance at a first impression. You also rarely get back an angry customer that was not satisfied. They’re more than happy to complain, but good service often goes unrecognized. I just found out from her that she’s the Manager of the restaurant. To the District Manager: bravo

I was initially unhappy with my to go order. I called in but got brushed off. I eventually spoke to the manager, Gabriella, and she was a consummate pro. She took my concern seriously and then made everything right. I received a credit and when I redeemed it everything was delicious. She deserves to be commended for her professionalism. I’ll definitely be back, whereas before speaking with her I would not have returned.

This place used to be soooo much better. They got really stingy with their portions; especially the Korean ribs and fill half the plate with cabbage. Still it is the best Hawaiian barbecue spot in the area but mostly by default. It is definitely a good alternative to most taco spots and fast food chains. When I first moved to Perris this one my favorite spot to go eat but they have slipped in not only the quantity they give but also the quality. Their chicken Katsu isn’t what it used to be and it seems like they use a cheaper meat for the ribs. The last couple times I ordered the ribs, half of it was fat. Very disappointed. Wish they would tighten up on their quality. Other than that it’s a decent establishment if you are in the mood for Hawaiian barbecue.

Stopped for lunch while heading south. The service was fast & good. The Kalua pork was very good as was the teriyaki chicken. Beef plate was good too you remember how sweet the Hawaiian sauces are. We stopped in our 40 ft RV& there seemed to be limited stopping areas for us to park.

I love Ono, the macaroni salad is the best in the world. The teriyaki sauce is outstanding. The rice is always cooked well. I order the same thing every time and at every location. Teriyaki chicken; unfortunately the last time I was in the chicken was so grisly. I was so disappointed. Will it stop me from coming again; absolutely NOT!!! Worse case scenario I would order rice, macaroni salad and teriyaki sauce. The service is ok, but the place is always clean. I love that the teriyaki sauce you pump yourself is always warm. Work on using cleaner pieces of chicken and ONO life would be better…

It s was good and fast. I actually wanted to order #44 but I was confused because I saw 1 – 3 combo meal and where it would make sense that #4 would be that’s where #44 is which is cheaper than #4. Anyway you end up ordering the more expensive meal.

The Island Fire Chicken is literally FIYAAAAAAAAA!!! It was delicious and hit the spot. It had the perfect amount of spice and was very tender. Also, it soaked the cabbage and made that very tasty. The macaroni was awesome as usual along with the white rice. I am definitely going to come back again and get the Island Fire Chicken!!! The customer service was really good and they were helpful. Also, it looks nice inside to eat and have a good time.

Decent food for the price. I drive up through the way for work and for some reason I always get hungry just about this part of town. There aren’t that much selection besides the usual subway, Starbucks, Carls jr. So ono’s pretty much it. It’s the best fast food around this neck of the woods. So it gets 4 stars. If it was in a big city, it would be right there with Panda Express. 2 maybe 3 stars.

I really enjoyed this place, the food is great and the sit down part of the restaurant is really nice. Comfortable and cool. Service is decent, never had a long wait. I recommend the shrimp.

Not the worst Hawaiian food we’ve had but pretty close. They fill every plate with cabbage under the katsu chicken which makes it go soggy. Without the cabbage you see what they use it for… to make it look like you go 10 pieces of chicken instead of 5. Expensive with small portions.

The people that rate this five stars apparently have never been to Hawaii and had authentic Hawaiian food. Ordered the bbq chicken was pretty good, no complaints there. The Kalua Pork was OK at best. Very little portion, kind of dry and not flavorful. The Island Fire Chicken was also alright. The sauce made it taste good so it was alright. The Aloha Plate comes with some weird salad that wasn’t very tasty. I probably would not recommend this place for the food if you’re looking for really good Hawaiian bbq. Staff was friendly and courteous.

Born & Raised in Hawai’i this place is ok. Nothing to rave about. The food portions are good. Staff is very friendly and it’s a nice place to have a relax dinner. I would have given it a 5star but the Katsu sauce was terrible it was water down &tasty very nasty. I think I need to let them know how to make better katsu sauce. And the mac salad, dear lord help us!
