Came for birthday celebration. Seated and had Drink order taken promptly. Starters: crab dip was delicious, as well as seared scallops. However, I was a bit disappointed because the succotash and sauce changes from time to time so the same dish I had enjoyed in the summer was radically different. Good to know for the future. The cream of crab soup was very salty. I don’t recall this being the case during my last visit in September. Entrée: Two in our party ordered the crab cake sandwiches which were good. The salmon Reuben was also delicious. The chicken cordon bleu sandwich was saturated with butter and the bread texture was less than desirable. I ordered the rockfish romesco and was very disappointed. The romesco sauce was first heavily introduced with the scallop appetizer and again VERY heavily plated with the fish. The fish was described as pan seared on the menu and it arrived with a salted crust on the outside. Far too much salt for my taste, including a slice of pancetta ham with the fried polenta. The manager was EXTREMELY kind and offered a substitute dish. However, given timing, I was unable to await preparation of another meal. Dessert/service: Our server was a bit disjointed, as he brought dessert to our daughter and a surprise bday cupcake for my mother. Lovely gesture! However, he failed to ask if anyone else wanted dessert so we waited a good bit before he could revisit our table to ask for a dessert menu. Our daughter thoroughly enjoyed the brownie bomb dessert! When the server arrived back to take the remainder of the table’s dessert order the brownie bomb was chosen. When it arrived, we dove in only to find that it was not at all consistent with the dish our daughter had just been served. Our brownie was cold(her brownie was hot, with a generous portion of ice cream) and had a very small scoop of ice cream. Disappointing. We’ve visited this restaurant for several family celebrations, but we were underwhelmed this visit. The redundancy of succotash and romesco sauce should be considered, as well as the heavy salt. Consistency is important too. Our server did the job, but seemed a little evasive and inattentive after the rockfish was returned. We certainly didn’t want to offend… just couldn’t eat the dish as prepared. He may have had a heavy load of tables in the other side of the restaurant? Hoping this was just an «off day.»

stopped in for dinner during storm Jonas and it was relatively empty, parking lot was easy to find a spot so we got lucky. the place was pretty full on the bar side and relatively empty in the dining room so we were seated right away. I love that the menu has such variety. we had a dozen XL crabs and also tried the restaurant week menu — calamari, fish entrée, and oreo cake dessert. calamari was good — nothing unique. the fish entrée was a bit on the salty side and slightly burnt. the oreo cake was mushy for me but very tasty with a contrast of hot cake and cold ice cream. as recommended by other Unilocalers we also tried the crab dip — this was heavenly with the bread — and also the mussels, which were so large and perfect. other Unilocalers said theirs was overly salted but ours came out perfect. great meal!

met a couple friends for drinks and dinner and was very impressed with the appetizers and food, 5 star! I had the blackened tuna, friends had sea bass, cream of crab soup and ceasar salads. the different levels of atmosphere, bar, dining, crab room etc are unparalleled. if youre in the area conrads is a must go too. First time at Conrad’s and it was excellent. The décor is awesome and the service was great and the live music was cool. I will explain the 4 stars instead of five shortly. So we didn’t realize it was restaurant week until we set down and saw the menu Yaaaayyy!!! So we order some from both menus. Let’s start with starters Crab dip– Came out hot and bubbling perfect. It was extremely tasty and the bread was delicious No complaints Scallops and risotto– Scallops seared perfectly risotto beautifully prepared no complaints Now to the other stuff… Cream of Crab soup– this is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. It was tasty, but it was not cream of crab soup. What I imagine when I think of cream of crab soup is perfect density of cream lump crab meat seasoned to perfect. Well this soup had bacon on top. The bacon was perfect delicious bacon but it over powered the soup, so much that I couldn’t taste the crab or crab seasoning. Although savory not cream of crab soup. Crab cakes– delicious lump crab minimum filler Fries– another reason for 4 stars not 5 disgusting do not get them. Chicken something with a S– Delicious it’s a must try with that delicious prosciutto on top and savory sauce over perfect risotto. Desserts White and chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse– Moist cake packed with flavor. Right amount of sweetness in the mousse, however lack of peanut flavor Cheesecake– What can I say about the cheesecake other than it was traditional cheesecake very good could do without the fruit sauce on top. WEWILLVISITAGAINANDTRYOTHERTHINGS! I RECOMMEND

Maryland has good seafood. I think we all know that. But when you’re looking for a place to eat, you want the best of the best. Conrad’s is certainly up there. Right off the bat, I was super excited to try out the rockfish cioppino, which I had seen on the restaurant’s online menu prior to my visit. Imagine the sadness in my soul when I found out this dish was stricken from the record. That was about a month ago, and it still appears on the online menu. I think an update is in order. Cioppino, for the uninitiated, is a fish stew typically composed of crab, clams, shrimp, scallops, mussels, and fish. It’s like an ensemble cast of A-list celebs in one delicious meal(think the«Love Actually» of seafood dishes — ok, more like B-list, and the plot of this dish is way less confusing). Luckily, there was a seafood paella in its stead, so I opted for that and was not disappointed. No complimentary bread and butter here. Instead, popcorn! Definitely not a bad thing. Popcorn has way more personality anyway. Like that dude who’s dating your ex-girlfriend(who’s also taller, better looking, and more successful than you). Damn you, Brad! *shakes fist*

I got some oysters and boiled lobster dinner. Monday was $ 15 off the lobster, so it was a great deal! Not over cooked and the sides were amazing(I got the squash/sweet potato combo and asparagus). Happy with my choice!
