Enjoyed it so much, I ate there two days in a row while in town. First night I had the lamb portholes, so good! Perfectly cooked and seasoned to enhance the lamb flavor. I also had the edamame, but wasn’t a huge fan, but might just be a taste preference thing. Tonight I ate A LOT — crab deviled eggs(nom), seared scallops with all sort of goods on the side(nom nom nom) and the lobster roll(noms). Very happy belly right now

I had heard many good things about this place but hadn’t gotten around to it until my uncle suggested it for dinner tonight. I walked in not expecting anything spectacular but the oysters that we ordered were nothing less than that. just spectacular. They were amazingly fresh, juicy and served super chilled on a bed of ice. Everything was 100% fresh from the oysters to the cocktail sauce with horseradish and oh. the picked onions! I have personally never had pickled onions from any place other than a Japanese or Korean restaurant but these were very good and paired perfectly with the oysters. You only need one small piece on top of each piece of oyster and you can skip them if you are not a fan but I would highly recommend at least giving it a whirl. We had already eaten dinner so we had just come for app and beers so we also decided to put in for an order of the appetizer portion of the shrimp and grits and also the parmesan truffle fries. Both were pretty good. I’m not going to compare the shrimp and grits to the ones I had in New Orleans because that wouldn’t be fair, but it was certainly good. Service was good for a busy night and they were attentive until the very end. The bar area is more casual and the dining area on the opposite side provides a little more intimacy. Needless to say, I’m a fan!

My boyfriend and I went to Lib’s Grill the other night for restaurant week. I recently moved to the area from Baltimore city and am always on the lookout for good restaurants. We were not disappointed at Lib’s! We both had a cocktail to start. We stuck to the restaurant week menu because they gave so many good options. He got the oysters and I got the Thai spiced edamame for appetizers. For the entrée, I ordered the salmon with Israeli cous cous and sautéed shrimp — this was delicious! I was pleasantly surprised with the portion size, too; I had to bring some home. My boyfriend got the Wagyu beef entrée with mashed potatoes and green beans. The beef was perfectly cooked, flavored and melted in your mouth. The Heath bread pudding was an awesome and scrumptious end to my meal. My boyfriend got the cheesecake, which he said was one of the best cheesecake he ever had. This will definitely be a go-to place for us!

Never disappointed ! Every time I have been there it gets better then the last time ! The staff is very informative and friendly Oysters are out of this world and the selection changes on the regular. Must haves: fish tacos, flatbreads, oysters, and the steaks! Anything you have will be amazing!

Was here for happy hour with coworkers and the service was awful. After waiting 30 min just to be able to ask for water, we had to wait another 30 with empty glasses just to get the check. Food has improved.

Visiting my sister in law, and she brought us here for brunch. I had the croque Madame, and it was so delicious! Even though it was a busy Sunday morning, the staff made sure to check on us a lot. It was really nice seeing the manager walk around asking customers how their meal is, and see him help his employees bus tables or get more coffee! If I come back to visit, I will definitely be coming back here! I would totally recommend this place to anyone! :) I need to mention that they serve donuts on the house! I’ve never been a place where they do that. We also got some yummy shortbread cookies at the end of our meal. Regardless of how full we were, we ate everything.

As a local resident, Lib’s Grill is my go to Perry Hall spot. The food is excellent. I particularly enjoy the brunch. I recommend the Croque Madame. It’s basically a huge breakfast sandwich made with french toast and stuffed with eggs, meat, and cheese. If you like breakfast, this sandwich will make your day. However, you really can’t go wrong with any dish on the menu. There is also usually a $ 1 oyster deal of some sort, which no one can resist since it seems like every table has an oyster tray on it. As for the Dinner menu, I’ve only had the Ribeye. It was expertly prepared, cooked exactly to order, and came with a delicious pairing of whipped potatoes and asparagus. I can’t wait to visit again and try everything else. I particularly like bringing out of town guests. Most of my visiting friends live in urban settings(NY, LA, DC, etc), so it’s hard to find a high quality restaurant out here in the suburbs that stands up to their normal weekend brunch experience. Lib’s fits the bill. Their brunch setup includes: unlimited mimosas, MYO Bloody Mary pitchers, an oyster bar, comfortable ambiance, ample amount of HDTVs for sports, and a selection of local microbrews on tap. This restaurant is the total package, and it’s got my out of town guests pining for their next visit to Perry Hall for brunch at Lib’s.

I have lived in the area for the past few years and I cant believe I didnt check out Libs sooner. My boyfriend and I stopped in just for a quick appetizer after a long day… The atmosphere set in their dining room was quite relaxing. We order the cheese and meat tray which both of really enjoyed. Our server was Zach, he did and amazing job and was very knowledgeable. Beyond the atmosphere and service being excellent… I would also like to compliment the cleanliness of the restaurant. Coming from the food industry myself I strive from cleanliness — Im glad the staff at Libs does the same… Can not wait to come back!

Second stop at Lib’s on my business trip was just as great as the first. My associate got scallops and loved them! I got the meatloaf and it was pretty good. Those lobster and old bay deviled eggs are to die for!

Came at an amazing time… HAPPYHOUR! And boy was it happy. The $ 1 oysters contained 4 different oysters and the additional varieties were also excellent at $ 2.25 each. Look to the chalkboard to see what’s available and if Ryan is around you know you’re in good hands! They come out cleanly opened, almost all of the oyster liquor remained intact, and sand free. Pass on the fried oysters but everything else we had was delicious!

I’ve had lunch at their restaurant Liberatores, but decided to meet a friend for happy hour. Great bar! The bartenders were great! I tried the candied bacon. It was good but I was expecting something more. It’s just 3 strips of bacon on a small plate… not much of an appetizer but it was good. The atmosphere is great. My friend had a burger and he said it was good. The fries were a little soggy. They have a huge selection of beer on tap and lots of spirits to please even the pickiest of pallets. Overall a great place that’s in a small shopping center. I’ll be back!

Libs grill is soooooooo awesome! I love the neighborhood vibe filled with fancier elements like a granite bar and great menu. The service and staff are super friendly and attentive, and they have great rapport with their regulars. The food is also delicious – We came in for a carry out order of crab cakes, because I must have crab cakes daily while in MD. We happened to arrive during happy hour so $ 1 oysters couldn’t be refused. We ordered 18 oysters, which were chucked in front of our eyes, and two Allagash whites while we waited. I’m so glad we did! Their mignonette of pickled onions(I think?!) was great with the horseradish. Everything was wonderful!!! Overall, I’ll be back anytime I’m in MD!

Today was my 1st time at Lib’s. The wife and I typically go to Their other restaurant up the street. Today I sat at the bar, and I was glad I did. The bartender Sam was very welcoming and friendly. One of the best attitudes I’ve seen from someone behind the bar in a long time. She was a professional. Now to the food… I got something for lunch off of the prefixed Restaurant Week menu. The portions were huge for $ 15. I got a Caesar Salad to start… best Caesar Salad I’ve ever had… pay attention to their croutons… there’s a little something special on them for you. Next I got the Chicken sandwich, it came with Grilled Chicken, Candied Bacon, Brie, and thin sliced apples… wow. Great Sandwich, upscale, great presentation, and delicious. Then I finished out the meal with a scoop of ice cream. I had a draft beer as well… the pouring system was great. the beer was ice cold… I highly suggest you go here… sit at the bar… and ask for Sam. You’ll be glad you did…

I have been here twice and each time the food has been delicious and the service was exceptional. I had the lobster roll while children had the breakfast tacos and chicken & waffles(the brunch kids menu is very limited). Everyone enjoyed their food(even the picky eaters). Normally the brunch menu doesn’t include Brussels sprouts, but they made an exception for me :-) I would recommend the grapefruit crush as well! The orange crush is good as well, but the grapefruit crush my system ordered was heavenly(and strong too — they sneak up on you). Also — the candied bacon is a must!

So I like it here. The food is ok. Some things were yummier than others(Mac n cheese, truffle fries). The crab cakes were tasty. I think the mashed potatoes were just average. The crab dip was ok. Nice big pieces of lump crab but the heavy layer of cheese was solid and not melted at all. My dad got a steak which he said was good. The mussels had a very brothy sauce. Pretty thin. I think that could have been more flavorful and served with something to sop it up. The lamb chops were average. I think that some of the food needed just a bit of extra seasoning. With that being said, I would return perhaps for lunch or a happy hour. They brought around some peanut butter dessert shooters as a complimentary treat for Father’s Day, so I thought that was a nice touch. It was a quaint, neighborhood feel. Not stuffy but modern and nice. The staff was attentive and very friendly.

Mmm, I love Lib’s Grill more and more each time I go there. My sister and I often meet here for brunch as it is close to where we live, and we can get early reservations without any problems. The deviled eggs with crab are delicious, and we love starting off with some raw oysters(we particularly like the Purple Ravens). Bottomless mimosas/crushes are the way to go for $ 15; the Bloody Marys are good, but two of them cost more than the bottomless drinks($ 8 a piece) so you might as well go bottomless(hee!). I wasn’t a huge fan of the lobster roll when I had it(you can see from my pic that it was full of butter/grease/some kind of liquid) but my sister has had it several times recently and said it was really good. I am going to have to give it another shot I guess since I am a sucker for a good lobster roll! We both love the Crab Benedict; the crab cake is so good here, I may have to just start getting the sandwich alone so that I can really enjoy the flavor on it’s own. My sister noticed that it tastes a lot like our mom’s homemade crab cakes but Lib’s uses bigger lumps of meat(sorry Mom!). We had the chocolate covered bacon recently, and while I am a fan, my sister liked the flavors separately although she did think the quality of the chocolate was great. We were even given two little baby brownie bites complimentarily at the end of the meal, which was a nice touch too! Service is always on point, with a teamwork attitude between the crew delivering your food and management often stopping by to make sure that everything is ok. It comes across as genuine, that they really do care that you enjoy your food and have a nice time. And we always do! I could really go for some more oysters and mimosas right now. Hurry up weekend, I’m ready for more brunch!
