Stopped here on our way through from PA back to IN. owner was super great. We were looking for coffee, dessert and lunch. He doesn’t serve lunch anymore, but gave us options as to where to eat. So we ate. Than came back. I got a chocolate muffin and a small drip coffee. Both were fantastic. Support your local small coffee house! And say no to Starbucks ;)

Steve, the owner makes fantastic cappuccinos! Super friendly, chatty, and funny he is the reason this place has so many regulars. The seasonal latte’s rotate and I always try one for an exotic taste. WiFi is great for working. I like the quiet back room or sitting at the high table by the large salt water fish tank.

Good coffee good muffins. Lots of charm and character. We opted for seating in the back. It was quiet except for a nearby table with some overly, self-appointed guardians of the light. Not sure what they were saving but they thought it was important. The walkways have a step up and down that could be difficult to see. Nice tropical scene that was relaxing.

The Daily Grind serves the best brewed coffee in the Perrysburg area. Whenever I come in, I find sometimes 3, but usually 4 different brewed coffees. I’m always impressed.

Just stopped in to sit and have a coffee before business meeting. Independently owned coffee shop with unique décor and layout.

Steve makes the best cappuccinos around — they’re rich in flavor and strong as hell! I can drink a medium sized one and I’ll feel juiced up for several hours afterward — which is a good thing! They’ve got the whole Caribbean theme goin’ on in the shop, and there’s plenty of comfortable seating. A lot of times when I go in there, college students are hanging out playing Dungeons and Dragons or some other role playing games — which is pretty cool in my opinion. There’s been more than one occasion when I’ve felt like jumpin’ in on a game, being a former D&D geek myself. Conveniently located on the main drag in Perrysburg, My Daily Grind is a very chill little café that serves up some righteous coffee.

I went here on a weekend to get some coffee to go. It is a very cosy beach themed coffee shop. Makes you feel welcome the second you walk thru the door. The menu is vast including both hot and cold coffee concoctions, one sounding better than the next and from what I could see they offer muffins and bagels. I really really liked the ambiance and the service, my barista was more than accommodating. The coffee was disappointing. I got a fancy drink and all I could taste was the milk and flavoring… the espresso was just not there. I think it’s a great place, I wish the coffee was better. Next time I’ll have to try the drip coffee. Go try it out maybe it was just an off day on my end?

This is one of the greatest coffee shops in all the world! Incredible staff, especially Steve, the owner. The place is a labor of love, built and decorated to Steve’s wacky aesthetic and with his own hands. The coffee and other drinks are well crafted and reasonably priced. And Steve would never serve a food product if it wasn’t up to his high standards for quality. This is by far the brightest spot in all of Northwest Ohio.

Steve is a really nice guy and patiently talked about his product with us. He serves water process decaf and it’s much appreciated. He brewed a pot just for us and we had a great time while we waited talking to him about coffee. It’s a really nice little place and I wish we had more time to hang out with him.

My Daily Grind is a wonderful place! The owner is great, and the drinks are near-perfect. The décor is beautiful and tropic, and I feel like I’m on vacation, which is a nice change of pace from Toledo. I really love the place!

I’ve stopped at this coffee shop several times in the past few weeks on my way to work and I haven’t been disappointed yet. Both the regular coffee and the specialty drinks are very good. The décor makes me miss Key West, as it is bright and very island like. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and you can tell they actually care about your experience. Prices are good and on par with other coffee shops in the area. Could you get a slightly cheaper cup of coffee at the gas station? Yes. However it wouldn’t be nearly as good.

Visited here from out of town, only thing missing was Jimmy Buffet on the stereo, more like a coffee tiki lounge. Very unique and the BEST girlie coffee drink I’ve ever had in my life(«the gooey roll», basically a liquid Cinnabon). More Torani flavors than I’ve ever seen in one spot; my daughter wanted watermelon, she got three different options for watermelon. Of course they’ve also got your«black, thanks» options and unique add-ons like turbinado(raw cane sugar). If you’re more Beach Boys than Brendan Benson, this is your spot.

A very friendly place to go for breakfast or lunch. The flavor combos are quirky and yet delicious. Steve is very friendly and helpful. The service is a little on the slow side, but the food makes up for it. A favorite spot for my son and daughter-in-law who are now«regulars».

Jimmy Buffet meets Mayberry… THEUP-SIDE: Despite, and possibly because of, the oddball décor, this place feels friendly and homey. In the Mayberry-ish setting of Perrysburg, it’s nice to pass the time sitting at the tables out front and enjoying the small town vibe. Of course, there is Jimmy Buffet music playing, but thankfully, it is at a very reasonable volume. THEDOWN-SIDE: It isn’t easy to give a downside to this place. You can tell the owner really cares about his little place, and puts all his energy into making it a nice little coffee shop. That said, there are a few minor things that might bother folks. First, the place is very narrow. When I head out to write, I look for a more open feel in a coffee shop — maybe I’m screwy but it just helps my writing process. Either way, the inside seating is limited. Second, there is currently no wi-fi available. The owner’s daughter rang me up at the register and mentioned they are on the fence about whether or not to get it, even though many, many people ask for it. I get that a small business has to be careful not to cut into profits by encouraging«campers» to sit there all day. However, not having wi-fi is a guarantee that I won’t return to a coffee shop. If it’s a deal-breaker for me, it probably is for many of those many others. THESUM-IT-UP: This is a nice little place with its heart in the right place. They are really making an effort and they deserve your business. Now if you can convince them to install wi-fi, I’ll be heading back!

I have been going to My Daily Grind for coffee and tea since high school. I generally don’t pay bucks for a cup but when I do, this is the only place that counts. BESTBARISTASEVER! Support your local business owner, Steve, and his wonderful family. I’ve even had food here and it is really really good — ask for Libby’s sandwich if it’s not on the board. Yum. If you see Sara there, you should be aware that her secret talent is jewelry making. She made me a peacock necklace that I have worn for years — every single day. I get regular compliments(from strangers!). Ask her about that if you like jewelry, although I’m not sure if she’s still making anything. Another great aspect of this place is its close proximity to Thrush’s Bakery. Walk down the street and have the best apple fritter that ever touched your lips.

Never in a million years did I expect to find a place as fun, interesting, and amazing as My Daily Grind in Perrysburg. If you’re headed down rt20 through Ohio for ANY reason, this is a must. The coffee offerings are on par with some of the up and coming joints I’ve trolled in my past, but that isn’t what makes this place. It is, simply put, an oasis. Steve, the owner, has put his heart and soul into the creation of this paradise in Perrysburg, and it shows. The tiki style espresso bar, the tropical fish, attention-whore banana trees… everything about this place is humorous and inviting. MDG also offers an INCREDIBLE box lunch menu, where you can customize an entire lunch for $ 7(sandwich, chips, side dish, and a treat). Amazing. If there was a sixth star, you’d have it, Steve!
