Average retail store. Not quite like it use to as the store may be 1⁄8 cards the rest is all gift bags, gift wrap, knick knacks & gifts. The store lay out had it where you really won’t bump into anyone but at the same time there isn’t enough product so there is a lot of open/empty space/floor. There is a Unilocal coupon when you check in for 20% off one item, however it’s useless as it expired 03/31/2014. Honestly, I get a better selection of cards at Safeway &CVS.

Each time I have been here, I’ve been greeted with a friendly and warm smile. Both times were just before closing and honestly, I get a little distracted so while I was trying to rush I just couldn’t because there are so many great items(other than cards) here. Neither time did I feel like I was bothering the employees for being there a few minutes before closing and, really, they told me to take me time and it was OK. I’ve worked retail for six years and I know how it goes. «It’s okay, take your time» is usually meant with rolled eyes, a sigh, and an attitude. But I didn’t feel that here. I will absolutely come back for the holidays and they’ve got some wonderful candles I’ve been nagging my husband for. P.S. It is rude, bullying, and unnecessary; I would not take a «review» to heart if you feel the need to mention that someone is «overweight». It’s petty and immature and should have no barring in a review. Perhaps the problem isn’t the store, or the lovely employees.

RUDEST store employees I’ve ever dealt with in particular the overweight manager Mayrna who treated me like dirt over asking her to find another mug to price match the adorable one I found for my friend who had just become a grandmother! She slammed down the mug, shouted at me and then talked bad about me to the woman standing in line behind me! This woman should be FIRED and never be allowed to work retail again! I am not going to waste my life by writing out the all the other details of this VERY horrible experience but rest assured I did contact corporate office and the woman was beyond APPLAUDED as to how horribly I was treated! I will NEVER again shop at this store again! On the bright side I did get a 1000 points credited to my Royal Crown account so I hope you read this miserable Mayrna!

A little pricier than other Hallmark stores so be sure to get a rewards card if you don’t already have one. Sometimes you can find notecards on sale here. The staff were helpful, too.

Called to see if they had a specific card, and they had 5 left. Asked them to hold one, which they said they would, asked to give a name, said they didn’t need it. Drive out of my way before they close and the other worker gave it to someone else when I arrived. I am obviously upset, and the moron tells me to have a good afternoon. It is 7:30pm, I am sure their apology was genuine as well. Screw Hallmark and Hallmark Holidays!
