Applebee’s

Horrible service and the food took an hour to get. The bowls of soup were only half full and my brother ate his entire enchilada meal before we ever saw a cup of soup or salad. My daughter did not get her salad until after we ate our soup and had our salad. Would not recommend it at all.

My wife and I came in here to pickup lunch on a Thursday afternoon. I called in two lunch combos and was advised that it will be 15 min. We got there a few minutes early. The host was friendly. She opened the door and greeted us. We waited another 3−5minutes and our order was ready.
As for the food, we ordered the lunch combo. Price varies depending on which item you choose but they’re about $ 8 – 9. I had the Clubhouse Grille Sandwich and Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders for $ 7.99. These are only half portions but it is filling. Overall, we thought it was a good price.
It’s our first time here. As long as service is great and food good, we will come back.

I’m writing this review only to remind myself never to eat here again. We’re working late tonight and ordered food online to pickup. Even though I arrived late, I still had to wait 5 – 10 minutes. The food we received looked disgusting and was lukewarm. Our steaks were both cooked wrong (mine undercooked, his overdone), were mostly rubbery fat, and nearly impossible to cut through. My plate came with veggies but there were only 3 pieces of broccoli and maybe 4 tiny carrots. My husband got the pepper steak entrée and it was pathetic how little food was on his plate. We basically just wasted 40 bucks and now need to go find something else to eat to help us get through the evening at work. One star only because Unilocal wont let us give zero stars but also because the staff was friendly.

Two stars should say it! Everytime I have gone with friends that wanted to go, the food and service is HORRIBLE! Did you get that? HORRIBLE!!!
You wait forever to be served and then during the meal, if you need anything, you have to get up to find your server!!!
Food is always overcooked, burnt on the edges and lukewarm at best!
You pay for all of this through the nose! It’s expensive!!! And, it wasn’t worth it!

Where do I start and what happened?!
Honestly, where do I start with this review? The crap food, the expensive bill, or the terrible service.
I used to come here a lot a few years ago because the food was good, it wasn’t all too expensive, and the staff was a lot of fun.
I came here with a few friends and I’d like to start off with the staff. Typically a waiter who wants a tip will offer some specials, tell us what’s good to eat, ask if we need time to think about drinks, give you a menu. Not this waiter, he sat us down and a few minutes later threw down the menus.
The only positive thing I can leave in this review is that Applebee’s is joining the rest of the world by making person to person communication a thing of the past and giving each table a tablet to order items off of. Why is this positive? Well if we didn’t have this option I might still be at the table waiting for the server to come over and ask what we want…
Once the food came I was let down even more. There is a pretty lame but often true joke thrown around asking if the cooks are just using microwaves in the kitchen and I think it was best used at Applebee’s. The food was extremely bland and the portion for the price was bull… I paid $ 14 for the most plain «adult» mac and cheese I have ever had. I was supposed to get garlic bread with the meal as well but I think they forget to add the seasoning to the bread.
And the final complaint. In California we are in a drought and Applebee’s doesn’t care. The alcoholic drinks that were served at our table were some of the most watered down drinks we have ever had. Pricy water too…

Food was not good at all. I hated every bite and my stomach started to hurt. The only reason I have 2 stars is because one of the workers only made us pay for the appetizers which were good. The main manager is a complete dick and he needs to be reviewed for replacement. He kept glaring at me every chance he got. Never coming back.

Apparently this restaurant has an obvious «kids» section. The guy walked us all the way to the back because we had an 8 year old with us. Consequently we had to sit in a section full of kids running all over and making lots of noise. This is a practice I have never noticed before but here it was painfully obvious. Needless to say I did not appreciate it since we had a very well behaved child with us.

Good place to go if you you want avrrage food, drinks and seevice. The price is right. I will always go back beacuse its the Beee’s baby.

OMG! One of the worst restaurant experiences ever. Definitely THE WORST for an Applebee’s! It took 1 ¹⁄₂ hours to get our food after it was ordered. Then 4 out of the 5 people in our group had something wrong with their food! Which meant having to wait even longer for them to correct it. Other tables that had just been seated were getting their food while we sat and waited and waited and waited. We talked to the manager and he seemed to be clueless as to anything being wrong when we showed him the food. We had all ordered food that we were familiar with at Applebee’s so we had to explain to him how the food had been served at the other restaurants. This was a very frustrating experience. Will not be eating at this Applebee’s ever again! Had to give this a star rating — it deserves no star.

Holy small salad. Had the Thai Shrimp salad, came out the size of a side salad, for $ 11. Not happy. Left still hungry. Pick somewhere else if you want to get full and have a quiet atmosphere. It was packed and so loud that we couldn’t conversation with our grand mother.

We just love Applebee’s. Chris is our usual server. And he always remembers our orders

Great staff and atmosphere. Food is always hit and miss for me. Had black pepper steak and it was great along with the fire roasted tomatoes but the spinach was just a big clump not that great nor was the rest of the dish.
The artichoke and spinach dip were great along with the wedge salad.

Went here with 5 friends on Monday night for a casual birthday dinner. I’m not an Applebee’s fan nor was anyone in my party. That being said we all left feeling great and very happy about giving the Monday Burger Night a go.
Our server was amazing, she was so incredibly friendly and on top of her stuff it was a true delight. I looked at my wife halfway through the meal and said this is some of the best service we have ever had in California.
We shared 4 apps, everyone had a burger except one person who got the chicken tender mac. My burger was cooked exactly how I ordered it, med-​rare as was everyone else’s. Food was on point! $ 6.99 Burger and Beer night might be the best deal around. We had 4 apps a kids meal, 5 entrees, drinks and 2 pitchers of beer for $ 95! I was astonished. This was honestly one of the best group experiences we can remember in a long time.
Thanks Applebee’s — we will be back!

I have been coming here every week over the last 3 weeks because I’m in the area for work and this location has a good service and they are quick to come out for their carside pickup although I had to go inside two times because the pickup person was off already.
I haven’t had any issues with any servers or my food so I would definitely recommend this Applebees to friends and family.

My son wanted to go to dinner to celebrate with his girlfriend their pregnancy. They just found out today they were going to have a baby girl, they’ve been waiting a while to find out and now that they did they wanted to celebrate. He invited us to join them, they arrived first and grabbed a booth, when we first sat down to join my son and his girlfriend, our server did come up to the table but she didn’t say hello or anything, she just stood there waiting for us to say something to her first. It almost made us feel like we were intruding on her table.
We ordered drinks, soda, water a beer and cocktail. She never came back to ask us if we wanted refills. The water glasses were empty, soda and beer was gone and she was no where in site. We hit the table buzzer in hopes to get her attention, when she didn’t show up we then flagged down the closest server who went up to our server that was hanging out at the bar chatting it up. So the other waiter told her we needed more drinks, when she came to the table I said, «Can we get refills on the waters and can I have more soda?» She just brought over pitchers of water and soda and left them on the table, I felt as if she didn’t want to come back to the table to service us or see if we needed refills. We didn’t see her again until the food came out.
When we got our food, my son’s girlfriend didn’t care for hers at all. We looked around for our server, and saw her at the bar chit chatting with other employees, yet again. The only time she did come over was after we motioned over another waiter to help us. Once he flagged her down (at the bar chatting with other employees… again) she then came over to find out what was wrong, after the fact and not when we hit the buzzer. Soon as she came to the table the other waiter had the replacement dinner in hand and was walking it over to which our server said, «Oh, it looks like its all taken care of and that looks like it will be a better dish.» WTH? A better dish… and guess what… she walked away again… and didn’t come back until we hit that stupid buzzer again… waited for another 5 minutes before she came to the table because she was… get this… at the BAR TALKING STILL!
Servers should come by to check up on you, this one did not. We had to ask another server for help because ours only showed up when we rang the buzzer on the table, even after that she didn’t show up for 5 to 10 minutes after we hit the buzzer.
She was not very attentive to the table at, very disappointing. I was very disappointed in this service and felt like she didn’t care about us or her job at all. She spent most of her time talking with another server at the bar not even paying attention to us.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Applebee’s but this was the absolute worst experience I have ever had in this restaurant. It really makes me not want to go back, we probably won’t after that to be completely honest.

Applebee’s is close and a quick in and out at lunch. I can always find something I like on any menu but am just not a fan of most chain restaurants. There’s nothing wrong. just very average.

Arrive around 7:15 or so at night, was greeted and seated right away. Restaurant was about ½ or more full. Our server was very attentive, checked on us all the time to make sure our food was prepared the way we wanted, see if we need more drinks or water, etc. Food came out exceptional fast and was prepared as we asked, and was hot and tasty! Great service and great food!

I worked at an Applebee’s in college and I can’t help it… I love the food. I know, I know… everyone tells me how weird it is to continue loving the food after working in the kitchen, and it’s a chain to boot. Anyways, this particular franchise has stayed true to the brand, and even after all these years the familiar favorites are still on the menu. They made me my goto entrée even though it’s not listed on the menu anymore (did you know any salad can be ordered as a wrap?) I also like how this franchise doesn’t employ weird tactics to get guests in like some of the South Bay restaurants do (jello shots and bingo nights. I’m not kidding.) So obviously, I recommend this place. It feels like comfort food!

Why can’t I give this place 0 out of 5 stars?
Don’t waste your time or money.
Lazy staff. Terrible food.
You’re better off microwaving your own food at home.

I like it. The menu is good, the food is strong. Sometimes the service is a little slow, but other than that I’ve gotten good experiences.
Feel free to check it out. At a place like this, its more about the service. The inside has just been redone in the past year. Its inviting with friendly people.
