No need to fear the dentist anymore! Christian Kjeldsen DDS and his wonderful staff will put you at ease instantly. The staff is awesome. Amanda at the front desk has been very helpful with insurance questions and the hygienist Trayle Broudy is exceptional in his calm demeanor and soothing voice helping you to better understand dental health and how to take care of your teeth. Kjeldsen has been our family dentist for years now, having taken over Larry Quarles practice (who we adored as well). We’ve chosen him over a Medicare recommended dentist because we want to continue receiving the best care possible. One day I brought my adult nephew in to see him with a severe tooth ache. He had not been to a dentist in over 10 years and had no dental insurance. He feared the worst (a root canal) and was visibly panicky about meeting up with THE DENTIST. But he was immediately put at ease, and discovered he simply needed a deep cleaning & root planing. No scolding, no X-​rays, no fee! As a service he offers a free consultation which he accepted gladly.

Christian has been my dentist since he took over the retired Larry Quarles practice. Christian is always up to date with the latest tools and techniques. He takes a conservative approach, doing what is necessary, and not looking to find more work to do. I briefly went to a Petaluma dentist on the Kaiser plan, only to find I was being steered to have two teeth extracted and replaced with very expensive implants. I went back to Christian to consult, and he could not find any reason for implants. I am now exclusively with Christian even though I have no dental insurance. I will never think of leaving again. He talks to you and explains what he is doing through the whole procedure. He consults ahead of time and clearly shows you why he is doing it ahead of time. I have never had such a skilled caring capable dentist. Go and see him without any reservations

I hate the dentist! But every time I go in I feel relaxed and not pressured. I need a lot of work done and Dr Kjeldsen is great making sure we have a plan that fits my budget and time. He has been cleaning my sons teeth since he has been 5 and doesn’t just clean but educates my son on how important it is and shows him what needs to be done.

Saw Dr. Kjeldsen after Dr. Quarels retired. He runs the office in that old, comfortable style with a personal touch.
We were skeptical of recent findings during an exam at a strip mall dental group that my insurance covered, so we went back to this office (even though he doesn’t take my insurance) for a second opinion.
Needless to say he gained my trust, and I am hoping he’ll join our network so we can continue for regular exams and work.
