CVS Pharmacy

CVS Pharmacy on North McDowell used to provide fairly good service. However, over the past 18 months they have lost, forgotten to process or otherwise messed up my family’s prescriptions 9 out of 10 times. They’re 0 for 4 in the last three months.

Pharmacy is horrible, The people behind the counter are totally clueless and so unfriendly. Waited 45 for a prescription that they said would be ready in 10 only to find out they never filled it and cant find it so Im out of luck for the night. Totally unhelpful I will NEVER go into that dump again

Of late the store seems disorganized. It’s been at least 3 weeks that I know of that they have not had air conditioning in this store. They have several portable cool air units scattered throughout the store but there are still areas where it is extremely warm to hot in there. Can’t understand why a multi-​million dollar company can’t get there A/​C fixed. Again, it’s been at least 3 weeks, possibly longer.

Idiots working here. Here is our conversation:
Me: Hello can you provide an MSDS on Just the Basics Laundry Detergent?
CVS: Yes hold on let me find out.
CVS: Is this the laundry detergent?
Me: Yes…
CVS: Hold on
CVS: Yes we have it here.
Me: I am asking for an MSDS – Material Safety Data Sheet on the product.
CVS: Oh hold on
CVS: No sorry we’re all out of that brand of laundry sheets.
Me: You’re not understanding. I am asking for an MSDS. Material Safety Data Sheet. It tells you what to do in case you get the chemical in your eyes etc. We’re a business and I need to have this on file.
CVS: Hold On
CVS: Is this like a letter or something?
Me: Nevermind you obviously dont have what I’m looking for. I just wont purchase the product again.
CVS: BYE!

I am on meds that cause severe withdrawal to my dismay. The pharmacy month after month messes them up. Leaving me sick for a week. No, I do not abuse them. they blame everything on insurance. I understand the insurance limitations well. Instead they take my scripts without telling me they are out of the medications. Lies and complete lack of caring for patients well being.

Sometimes you can find Dove chocolates here for 50% off. Yum! This store is clean and conveniently located near Kmart. The parking lot is shared with other stores but it is big. I haven’t used the pharmacy at this store so I cannot attest to the service.

The three stars is for the cashier lady who rang up my items. She just had the sweetest disposition. I did get a little lost inside just because I’m not familiar with the layout. I was just trying to find a store that had certain items and it was either this place or Kmart (next door). Cvs hands down.
