We live nearby and always get great service. Everybody is friendly and the food is good, what you would expect but not fantastic. Wish they would fire up that pizza oven!

This is my first time reviewing Flamez. So far so good I was seated immediately and the server was pleasant. I think the burger that I ordered was superb! It was named Jordan Burger(Michael Jordan) I’m assuming. It had avocados, bacon and Jack Cheese with 1000 island dressing. I ordered it medium and it was. I started eating it before I took a picture and I demolished it! I forgot to mention they brought the salad out first. It was good but the lettuce leaves were kinda big. But that’s alright it was fresh. I had my usual beverage: Arnold Palmer, this one is nothing special, Mary’s Pizza Shack in the Deer Creek Shopping Center is better. That’s the only negative thing I would say. Jenny my server was good we joked a little about the mirrors in the booths. I was trying to see which one I look through to see the Warriors playing but it’s impossible. I had to turn almost completely around. For dessert I had the layered lemon cake, it came with a real lemon wedge on the whipped cream. It was really good too, I would order it again. Next time I come here I’m going to order The Cheese Burger with The Grilled Cheese buns.

Service was excellent, the food however was not. I should have known better than to order a steak, but I did. The steak was so chewy my jaw hurt by the end of the meal. The mushrooms In wine sauce was good, but didn’t go well with the brown gravy drowning the mashed potatoes. For $ 20 for my meal alone I would expect MUCH better food. And my sister ordered a grilled cheese sandwich that apparently came with tomatoes, GREENUNRIPE tomatoes. Very disappointed. Don’t thinkin will be returning.

The food is always so so good here, whether it be breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert! I like that they serve breakfast all day. The prices are average, but definitely worth the good quality food that they serve. I prefer this place to IHOP, because the service and quality is good!

Having driven by this place a few times running errands, my wife and I finally decided to stop in and give this place a try. Upon entering the place it looked a little empty but we were greeted right away and taken to our seats. The place started to fill up soon after we sat down. Our waitress, whom I suspect owns/operates with her husband took our drink order. She suggested their coffee and my wife and I both got a cup. She brought it over promptly and dropped off some creams that were cold, that was a nice touch! After a few minutes she came by and took our orders. My wife ordered a breakfast combo that included eggs, hash browns, sausage, and toast/English muffin. I decided to try a burger. Both of our meals came hot and looked good. I would say the food was good, along the lines of your typical diner fair. I did however really like the shoestring fries. My burger was cooked perfectly and tasted pretty good. I can’t really speak for my wife, but she ate most of her food and did mention the eggs were cooked nicely and the sausage was pretty tasty. I would say this place is solid, that the real star was the service and attention our waitress and her husband gave us. They were both very genuine, not pushy, and seemed to know their regulars. I would definitely come back, there were a couple more things on the menu I’d like to give a try!

My family comes here all the time. Like ALL the time. This part of Petaluma I’d surely lacking in restaurants so the location is great. For all the surrounding homes flamez is easier to go to than driving across town to go somewhere else. That, and the food doesn’t suck. Not at all. It’s actually pretty good.

We eat in sometimes, but order take out at least once every couple of weeks. Great burgers and fries(order the steak fries with ranch). If eating in, I typically order the chicken piccata — but always take some home because so much food. Good portions, friendly staff — overall great neighborhood joint.

Went here for a late breakfast with a girl friend the other day and we had an odd experience. My friend couldn’t decide what she wanted so she asked our server what he recommended for breakfast. He proceeded to give us this drawn-out speech of this one dish that is just AMAZING(I honestly don’t even remember what he called it) and personally recommended it to her. My friend was interested in the dish and ordered it. He then stops and suddenly«remembers» that the dish he just recommended isn’t even on the menu anymore… We were extremely confused. How, as a server, do you not know what is currently on your establishment’s menu? Strange. Our food was okay, nothing to rave about. There are other places in Petaluma that have much better breakfasts.

Outstanding service and great food. All their food is fresh, cooked to order and home made. The clam chowder was fantastic!

Love going to this place because the service has never been bad, and whenever I go in for take out it only take a brief 10 – 15 minutes very fast and very accommodating, truly a nice restaurant.

Had breakfast for dinner. Enjoyed the company of my son, daughter in law and grandson. Flamez is the kind of restaurant that my grandson can be noisy in and no one made us feel uncomfortable. We tried to quite him but he’s 20 months old and so excited to be at Flamez, there was not a lot we could do. He really enjoyed the food and I felt fine feeding it to him. Flamez food is always fresh and good.

Ate there today… dissapointed !!! Buyers are great !! Had a joes special, just ok. Also we ordered the lemon chicken sandwich special it was ok. She overcharged us. Waitresses not great. I would still go for a burger, but probably get it to go. Not sure if it was new management. Smaller menu, wasn’t the same.

My family went to Flamez Bar and Grill today in Petaluma. The service was very poor and borderline of being rude and disrespectful. When we finally got our food, after waiting a very long wait, the buffalo wings were horrible. The spice was extremely hot to the point it burned my wives lips. When I spoke with the server, she wouldn’t take back the item and referred me to the manager who was also the owner. He would not replace my item and would not take the item off of the bill. He told us that the Buffalo wings were made one way and we ordered them so we must eat them and pay for them while smirking at us. Save your time and money and do not go here. Several great places to eat in the area and this is not one of them. I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau and the county health department.

What a surprise being open for breakfast. Very nice staff and breakfast was great. Belgium waffles were freshly made. The food came quick and the coffee was constant. Definitely a place to try in the morning.

I was wavering on my ratings, looking to downgrade. But to be fair, I went tonight to check it out firsthand before doing so. Their four stars are safe, because tonight’s dinner was fantastic, the best ever. I had the«special», tilapia filet with veggies, a baked potato, and split pea soup. The wife had an omelet, with toast and hash browns.(Some people like breakfast for dinner, to each his own). All were well prepared especially the soup de jour they claim is made from scratch daily. I would not dispute that. The waitstaff was right on it, especially our server(Ian) who was most helpful and prompt. We were greeted right away, and when leaving were wished well. It was full of patrons, despite being a Wednesday and after a holiday. I love the quasi sports bar ambiance. The overall experience was pleasant and we shall be returning again as management seems to have«stepped it up» a lot. I can’t wait to try their other homemade soups.

I have to chuckle at some of these reviews… those that give them a four star and then go on with high praise for every single thing about and around the place! I’m giving Flamez 5 stars… because they have earned them! My BF and I are building a home blocks away from Flamez so early on we were looking for a place close… reasonably fast without being fast food… and reasonably priced. We found it all in Flamez! The ambiance reminds me of the old steak house look with naugahide(sp) booths each separated by either textured glass or mirror. Plenty of tables and chairs making it handicap accessible as well as inviting for large groups or families with kids. Wait staff is above and beyond friendly and not just to us as regulars. They seam to treat EVERYONE like regulars. I’d put the menu in as diversified… a little bit of breakfast… a LOT of burgers… salads and sandwiches. Offers a soup of the day… French onion and Beef Barley are the two I hae tried and they are GREAT. My guy found his favorite — Jordan Burger — and so sticks with that pretty regular. I have been more adventurous and have tried the JJ burger — Jordan Burger(both named after the owners kids I understand) — Swiss Burger — BLT — Chicken Wrap and a few of their soups… ALL have been great… MY two favorites are the fish and chips and their patty melt on marble rye is to die for! I want our house finished… but I’m going to miss when our almost daily visit to Flamez drops to once a week ;)

Not great but very good. If you are in the area this is a solid restaurant, comfortable and with a wide choice of basic comfort food, good for a group of any size. I found the service cheerful, efficient, and very pleasant — I was by myself for lunch, and the waitstaff checked in regularly but didn’t hover. Enjoyed my Jay-Jay burger, which covered all the basics: lightly salted meat, good Swiss, 2 slices of crisp thin bacon, buttered toasted bun that DIDNOT fall apart(something I’m insistent on). I appreciated that the sauteed mushrooms and onions were not salted, because everything else was, and that would have made it an overload of sodium which no one needs. You can always add salt, but you can’t take it out if there’s too much! Yes, I have had better burgers — but I have had many worse in the Bay Area and paid more $$ for the dubious experience. Coleslaw surprised me: creamy dressing but no vinegar. Very refreshing. Onion rings are surprisingly pricey but done well. The cheesecake was good, the decaf low-acid so no need to adulterate with cream/sugar. Overall: a good neighborhood family restaurant, not a destination but more than acceptable when you’re looking for someplace nearby with tasty, not too expensive food.

Well we bought the groupon, and after reading some of the bad reviews I was a bit skeptical, but let me assure you, I don’t know what planet those people live on, they were WAY wrong! We came in and the owner’s wife seated us personally, and answered all our questions and was extremely accomodating. The menu was HUGE, and it took us quite a while to decide. I finally settle on something I have always wanted to try, a bacon cheeseburger with grilled cheese sandwiches for buns! It was SOOOO awesome and delicious, and I posted a pic here. It was huge and I couldn’t even finish the fries that came with it. My wife had creamy pesto pasta with parmesean chicken, and she loved it. Also the lemon cake for dessert she said was heavenly. The prices were slightly higher than I’d prefer, but not too much so. The service and food quality warranted 5 stars.
