I really love HTB but they’re closing this location unfortunately. I tried to go in today but got turned away as they were packing everything up. Too bad!

I love HTB but today I was ultimately disappointed. I got a chicken burrito. When I opened it the tortilla was hard and actually hurt to bite into. Once I took the first couple bites I was utterly disappointed that the burrito was cold. The cheese was not melted and the chicken was not the best. The slogan is fast-fresh-made your way. I felt like I was given a burrito that had been sitting out a while. I love HTB and have had good experiences at other locations before which is why I gave it three stars.

I’m speechless, 4 pieces of steak on a $ 2.85 street taco. I don’t think I met the minimum protein intake. Stingy.

Great place to get burritos. Excellent customer service and there has never been an order mistake. I give it a four instead of five because it is not as healthy as homemade burritos. Definitely recommend.

High tech is super yummy and their prices are reasonable. The staff is alway friendly. My only complaint is the smell when you first walk in. It smells like funky boy locker room BO. It’s just by the front store it’s bizarre and really gross.

What happened! I’ve been coming to Novato HTB for 20 years and always get the low fat chicken and today when I visited your Sunnyvale location I ended up spending $ 9 for a Low fat chicken bc now I have to custom build it? Its not even on the menu?! Forget this if that’s the direction you guys are going now. Sucks.

Tasty burritos. Generous amount of shrimps in the burritos. Reasonable price. Usually come here for a quick bite during lunch.

I don’t understand what the big deal is with the place. Gave wife wrong order. Missed the lime rice in her bowl and barely any pork. My quesadilla was anemic and had little cheese or pork in it. Their pork was bland and dry. I am not impressed at all. The floor was dirty, trash was overflowing too. I’ll take Chipotle or Freebirds over this any day.

This is my first time trying High Tech Burrito and I must say I am very impressed. That burrito was awesome and the guy who took my order and made the food was really awesome. I will definitely be returning to this place. Highly recommended.

The food at High Tech Burrito is pretty good and has some vegan options, but don’t count on the staff(including the people making the food) to know what is vegan. According to their online menu the following sautes are vegan: Teriyaki with Tofu, Yellow Curry with Tofu, California, Fresh Veggie, and Braised Tofu. Or you can build your own bowl/burrito. But go in knowing what you can eat, because the staff is hit or miss. The atmosphere is decidedly casual(a la a typical chain restaurant). I’d return again if I was exceptionally hungry, but not in other circumstances. Sometimes you have to compromise as a vegan :/ The food probably deserves 3 stars, but considering I was told my Thai Peanut meal had no dairy in it(false), I’m bumping it down a star.

Consistently great in all aspects. The food is always delicious and fresh, the restaurant is always clean and welcoming, and the staff are always pleasant and friendly. A great spot to come for tacos, burritos, and much more I haven’t had a chance to try. So far I’ve had the quesadillas which are large, and a nice side — actually all of the portions are generous — the street tacos and the burritos. The steak in the street tacos was a bit chewy so I prefer the chicken and today was my first time trying a burrito! I went out on a limb and tried the chicken Thai peanut burrito and it was really good. I got a whole wheat flour tortilla and it was pretty proportioned to the rest of the ingredients. As always, I look forward to my next visit!

Had the Cajun burrito with chicken. It’s was damn fine. Perfect size for a hungry person. The service was fast too. Went in with about 10 guys and we were all eating with about ten minutes. Everything made to order. I’ll go here again.

There are two types of burritos in this world — the ones that taste great but leave you feeling like you ate a bowl of lard and the ones that taste great but because they are made with fresh ingredients, and aren’t cooked in nasty oils, so they leave you feeling great. We call these latter ones«Gringo» burritos, because you can’t really say they are«authentic» Mexican. And the best place for Gringo burritos is High Tech. Don’t get me wrong — I love me a big old fat authentic burrito… when I’m eating it, but the ingredients aren’t usually all that good, and are usually cooked in heavy oils(sometimes in lard) and often leave you feeling like you have a hangover the next morning. But at High Tech, what you get is a very fresh tasting burrito, made with excellent ingredients. They also have all sorts of creative and tasty wraps, like the Thai Wrap, as well as fish tacos, and my personal favorite is the Burrito Dog, which is a hotdog with cheese and beans wrapped in a tortilla.(It is on the kids’ menu as a «hotdog burrito» but I think it used to be called the ‘rito dog, or burrito dog.) We love everything on the menu because it is cooked fresh to order — other than the beans and rice(which take a while to cook), everything is cooked fresh for your order, and you can taste it. When I’m looking to have a burrito, but don’t want to feel like I ate two oxen the next morning, I head to High Tech. Plus, I like that the owner really cares about his restaurants. Although this is a chain, it is owned by one guy, who grew up locally, and appreciates good fresh food. They give to local charities, participate in local events, and as you can see on Unilocal, his staff tries to address issues that customers may have, instead of so many restaurants which simply take offense to criticism.

I generally love this place but today, was completely awful to say the least. the itty bitty chicken burrito was cold, the chicken on my low fat chicken bowl was burned and food luke warm. i dont know what happened, but it was garbage today.

Revised 9÷8÷13 — HTB just unearned a star, now set at three. I have noted over the years the following; * you get a smaller sized burrito portions(I suppose to make more profit) * guac now not so good, I don’t know that they did to change the recipe but it was bitter * chips come in a paper sleeve, and not like they used to be * $ 9 bucks out the door for me, and not even a drink. I can go to a real restaurant and be waited on for that The food is still good, but I am losing my enthusiasm for HTB… Original review(when it was 4 stars) . I have eaten there innumerable times, more as a convenience than anything. Eating choices in the immediate area are all great but really expensive restaurants, and it is time consuming and complicated to get fed. HTB is good food, no doubt about it, quick, clean, and healthy food. You order at the counter, then it and they bring it to you. I especially like the low fat chicken burrito. It is a great place to drop in on a whim. The staff, too, is really friendly and seem to like their jobs. I know it is not«authentic» Mexican food, but it does not pretends to be. The purists complain about it not being really Mexican, but nonetheless it is a great place.

PLACE is awesome! Great food. They use quality food and have a knack for making the food so fresh! The people are friendly. the rewards points are sweet. Just got a free large plate yeaterday. It is very clean… easy to find… and always fast. One of the best places around town for sure!!! Bring the kids, bring a date, go solo!

Went in for the first time and ordered their Thai Chicken Burrito. SUPERGOOD. It’s creamy with a hint of that peanut sauce taste. Their burritos are dense, in my opinion, so I’m a happy camper. It’s clean and people are friendly. Good stuff.

Easy access from the main drag, close to the river and indoor seating. Very basic and typical fast-food eatery but the quesadilla i ordered was just HALF of a tortilla. What happened to the other half? it was thin, almost the thickness of a few credit cards or a small town newspaper. I DO have to admit it was the best tasty quesadilla I’ve eaten while stateside, just wished it wasn’t so thin and flat as a sheet of paper. And hey! what happened to the other half? grrrrrr liked the mango tea but no free refills :( The bathrooms are shared with the other businesses in the complex and require you have a key. once inside, there are a few stalls so don’t wait outside thinking it’s a one-person bathroom — it isn’t.
