They have some of the best sandwiches around(and probably some of the best I’ve had ever)! I’m always pleased and love that I can customize just the way I want with a lot of topping choices. The bread is awesome(I usually get the soft roll) and great selection of meats. I recently discovered that the pickles are amazing(I usually don’t get them on my sandwiches, but did the last time and will always add them from now on!). The people are friendly and it’s efficient, even if sometimes is a little bit of a wait(but I’ve never had to wait too long). They seem somewhat pricey, but it’s definitely worth it because it’s great quality plus you’re getting a lot of food(I usually get two meals out of one sandwich because they are large)!!

Very average sandwich. Pretty much a sandwich you can get anywhere. With that said definately not worth the $ 8 price tag. I had the honey turkey sandwich with everything except mayo and lettuce. I have to say I didn’t taste any horseradish, rather the vinegar took the spotlight. Was not a fan of the vinegar, it must have been white vinegar that they use which in my opinion not meant to be on a sandwich.

I love everything about the sandwiches here. I think everything is a little pricy– but they are good, so it’s worth it. The reason they lost a star though… Is because of their phone line. Try to call during lunch hours. The line is busy– indefinitely. I am sitting in the shop right now, staring at the phone. Nobody is calling … Yet its busy. Try it. I dare you. 12 – 1:00 … 707−778−0116.

I had stopped by a few weeks ago and thought my sandwich was fresh and tasty so I was looking forward to stopping by again. I stopped in again and I was diaappointed with with my service. I ordered a sandwich which was going to be shared with my daughter. I asked for two different slices of cheese on it, one on each half.(I had already asked how many slices of cheese come on a sandwich if you add cheese to it and was told two). They said they couldn’t do that, but I could order the two slices on the side. We did that and I got my two slices of cheese but was charged more for the cheese than if it had been put on the sandwich. When I questioned that to the cashier she stated, «When you by cheese by itself it is weighed and sold by the lb.» Being completed baffled after trying to explain it was supposed to be on the sandwich, I paid and left.

Very pricey! The sandwiches are good but it seems as tho their portions are very minimal. I noticed that the meat is pre portioned onto a little paper with a small amount of meat. For the price you would think that they portions would be a little more generous. Another thing that caught my eye is the staff looks miserable every time I go. On two separate occasions I have seen the owner yelling at staff INFRONTOFCUSTOMERS!(which may be the reason for them being unhappy)

Great little spot, I stop by every time I work in the area. Little on the pricey side, but everything is fresh.

Lucchesi’s never disappoints! I keep meaning to leave a review, but then do I really want everyone to know about my favorite deli… YES! Every sandwich lover, and skilled sandwich maker knows that the bread is half of the sandwich. I’d stop in just to buy a fresh sourdough baguette, but then it would be lonely and naked without the makings of a great Italian Sub stuffed inside. I went here for lunch today, just as good as it was the first time. Caution…there may be a wait, because the sandwiches are awesome!

I was shopping for Easter basket stuff at See’s Candy and thought I grab a quick lunch. I have been here a couple of times to by the Pueblo salsa and dressing but never a sandwich. My sandwich was super huge and very delicious. Before I saw it I thought wow they are a little pricey for a sandwich. But when I unwrapped it I thought OK this is two meals. The food was good the people that work there are nice, friendly and they make a mean sandwich!

Live love Luchessi’s. Meatball sando all the way. $ 9.00. Cool Italo-American vibe, lots and lots of fun drink options. The deli case has yummy take home options you’d expect from an old fashioned SF style Italian deli. The people who work there are 1) friendly, 2) knowledgable and 3) staffed up enough to keep the line moving. It is also just a bit over from See’s so dessert is covered :) and Peet’s is in the corner. Pretty darn good for a strip mall location!

If you want a good sub, sammie, deli sandwich, then this is a solid spot! I’m no longer a vegetarian, but I love a good veggie sub. Good for me means that the bread is fresh, the veggies are fresh, and my avocado is ripe. Good also means I have a large number of options for ad ons, and a variety of breads and spreads to choose from. Oh, and good means you offer more than a couple of cheeses to melt. This place is good. The first time, I had veggie on Dutch with ground mustard, sprouts, avocado, jack, cucumber, spinach, peppers — it was big warm and melty. The second time I had the above with turkey. The turkey was perfect! I probably would have been fine to split my sub, but it was so good both times, that I didn’t share. I’ll be back next time I’m in P-town.

Just had an awesome sandwich here for lunch. Light, crisp, refreshing-very yummy! I ordered the rotisserie chicken(was really basic) but the accompaniments made the sandwich great. I love that they put sprouts on the sandwich, their light rye bread was really yummy with the pickles and Dijon mustard. Take a bite out of this one. ;)

They make the best sandwiches ever! I usually get a ham and cheese or the chicken chipotle sandwich with avocado. The bread always tastes super fresh

Went here with my husband to get sandwiches one weekend and once we figured out the menu set up we were able to get exactly what we wanted. I made my own sandwich with cranberry, turkey and cream cheese. The ingredients were fresh and they prepared our sandwiches quickly. Since then we have gone back numerous times and always enjoyed our food! This place is great and consistent! Good, local deli.

As far as delis go it’s hard to beat a place like this. Shortly after we arrived the line grew out the door, clearly a local favorite. After a short period of confusion regarding how to pay my wife and I were very happy with our choices. She had the Turkey Avocado Sandwich & Chili. I ordered the Egg Salad Sandwich & Side Salad. Exactly what you’d look for a in a deli. Would return. Easily accessed from the highway.

Most authentic Italian Delicatessen in San Francisco. Place has been around for decades, back when SF was Ellis Island West. HIGHLY recommended. Tell them what you want, and they’ll make it happen. I wanted to make pizzas at home with my family one night, and they hooked me up with the best cheeses, meats, sauces and garnishes to throw on there. Also, the raviolis are highly recommended. No sauce needed, just butter, salt and olive oil.

I’ve been here a few times but the last time really impressed me. I love that they open nice and early so I can beat the crowds. I also LOVE that they put sprouts on their sandwiches. Ugh, I can’t stop thinking about how delicious and fresh my last sandwich was from here. I’ll definitely be coming in any time I need a sandwich fix!

First time here and it is absolutely delicious! Got the Hot BBQ special on their house made roll… mouthwatering. I didn’t even stop to take picture of my sandwich! Nice seating in and outside. Tons of salads, deli meats you can have sliced to go, drink selection galore(brownie points for having RC Cola!), sliced watermelon and strawberries… my new favorite spot to treat myself!

It’s simply as good as it gets. All the ingredients taste they the cannot possibly get any fresher. Maybe $ 2 – 3 more than subway but do worth it! All the extras are fantastic too. Homemade cookies, deviled eggs, brownies etc.

It’s all that and a bag of chips. No, seriously. Parking is a bit tight as they’re located in a strip mall inside a larger Safeway shopping center, especially during lunch. As far as deli’s go, this place uses high quality ingredients and is pretty fast in putting your sandwich together. All the extra accouterments such as drinks, desserts and yes, chips offer a good selection. They’re super friendly and seem to enjoy making delicious sandwich’s. The only ding I would say is the list of ingredients and proprietary sandwich choices is a bit limited. I guess they’re going for a quality over quantity thing, which is fine. I’d just like to see more selection like they have at Mr. Pickle about a mile away.
