Mesa-Boogie Amplifiers

Best quality mass produced and mass marketed guitar amplifiers in the world. (I love you Fender, own several vintage Fender models but Mesa does make a more robust and powerful amp in all comparable classes.) Sure there are boutique guitar amp makers who hand wire point to point circuits on a hand bent chassis, but those custom amps usually will cost 3X to 4X to a comparable Mesa-​Boogie.
Customer service is excellent. I’ve visited with an amp that was not working correctly. It merely needed power tubes. They gave me replacements FREE!

Mesa has by far the best customer service in the industry with clear communication and an consistent surpassing of my expectations.
I purchased a used MESA/​Boogie (my fourth) via a local shop. Shortly thereafter the foot switch on my Express 5:25 stopped working. I called Mesa’s customer service and Marcus walked me through a possible fix procedure, and when that didn’t work he had me send it in for a diagnostic and repair. Within a week I received a call and email from Richard who confirmed my return address and then sent me a tracking number. The pedal arrived in two days, fixed and cleaned.
Kudos MESA/​Boogie for having a customer service and repair department as good as the tone your amps give my Les Paul Custom!

Kinda hard to get a hold of them on the phone, they seemed like cool guys on the phone.
I hated them because they denied there was ever gonna be a Mark V so I ended up buying a Roadster. I loved my roadster but they should’ve never lied to me.
Minus 1 star for being liars and minus 1 star for building back breaking heavy amps.

Ok, so after my experience today, I will never, ever purchase bass gear from any other manufacturer! Mesa is the tits. I have a Big Block 750 bass rig that had a transistor bouncing around inside it. i took the rig in this morning and they fixed within 3 hours, saving me the drive back up to petaluma to pick the rig up another day. Not only are they nice folks, they are amazing technicians. I’m a gear head so I pulled the thing apart when I got home. It looks brand new! Sorry Ampeg — I’m a Mesa man now.
