Here is a dedicated, proficient and genuine caring OD I have been using for years. His staff and he embrace the rule customer gets what they want and will allow frame adjustments when ever you’re at the office. They bill well and the prices are fair. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Boyle to anyone seeking good vision care. And they carry Sun Cloud frames: my personal favorites.

Dr. Boyle and staff were excellent at my appointment today. Everything went really smoothly and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Boyle was patient and has good a good«chair-side» manner that puts you at ease. He explained everything and took his time with the examination. I usually hate going to the optometrist, but after this first trip, I am hoping to make him my permanent optometrist! And don’t be put off by the simple strip mall location, it’s very nice and welcoming inside. I cannot wait until the adorable and chic Ray Ban frames come in. Thank you Dr. Boyle and staff!

Such lovely staff at the front desk… who were extremely patient as a I tried on glasses after glasses for at least 30 minutes! Wonderful service when I came back to collect my prescription glasses, they are now all fitted and looking fantastic! Richard Boyle is also amazing at what he does, he explained all the issues and the whats, whys, and hows I had. I am a fan!

Dr. Boyle was ok, I would have given him a 3 — nice, polite etc.(ok, I found the singsongy«1″ or „2″ surprising and sort of irritating — because it seemed so unauthentic. The problem came with picking frames. I asked what the hightest magnification mirrors they had were, as only regular wall mirrors were in the room. They didn’t know but brought one in. I couldn’t see without my glasses to try on new models. My insurance covered standard progressives. The office also offered superior, platinum, etc progressive. I asked them they difference — no qualitive or even scientific decription was given. One woman said standard was plastic lenses which would chip, etc. Then later said it could include polycarbonate if I wanted it. So, then, I asked again what is the difference. Well…“it is more digital.“ Another one said, „I think we have brochures.“(Brochures didn’t explain) — Ultimately no adequate explanation was given. These are definitely not even informed sales people, but office staff. „Most people understand my explanation.“ huh…“better quality» and«more digital» are not qualitative measures that allow a customer to make an intelligent decision about how much they wish to pay for glasses — based on understandable qualitative(or even scientific) measures. I was truly surprised as this had never happened to me in glasses buying excursions. I have been wearing glasses for a few decades and have never encountered such uninformed people at places like 4 eyes, high end S.F. financial district eye doctors, Kaiser, — even Costco. This office is located in a small shopping center. These are the same people(office staff) who did not know that at Asian Market was located 3 doors down on the same«block» for years and years — while they worked at the doctor’s office. I guess there is a lack of observation. The staff was very polite(except for the comment above). So if you don’t ask questions, and have a mild prescription, this place is fine. I will definitely not return and did not get my glasses from them.

Dr. Boyle was probably one of the nicest person I have ever met. I know it is his job to be friendly, but due to his kindness it just makes me glad my family chose his place.

Dr. Boyle is one of the best eye doctors I’ve been to. My previous eye doctor gave me a prescription that was too strong, but wouldn’t change it. Dr. Boyle did a thorough exam and gave me just what I needed. Thank you and I’ll be back!
