Pawn Advantage is excellent and the service and advice I received there was nothing short of professional. The fact that they’ve been in business longer than most stores on the block speaks volumes. I will recommend them without hesitation. What a treat to have an «old-​school» big city-​style pawn shop right in the heart of suburbia.

This place is a rip off. I recently just pawned a bracelet for my brother in law for him and the people don’t weigh the item for you in front of you, the gold weight is 13.6 and they weighed it at 8.6. they only give a little for the item and are very rude I will take my business to San Rafael. Were They will weigh it in front of you. Don’t come here unless you want to be taken advantage just like the sight says.

I have always been amazed at the high level of service and quality of goods I have purchased from Pawn Advantage. They even give a thirty day money back guarantee, no questions asked. Now that is good service!

I needed some extra money and decided to try taking some jewelry I never wear to be pawned. This place completely tried to rip me off. I brought in a gold chain, 3 precious gemstone and gold rings, and a gold and sapphire pendent. They didn’t even offer me a fourth of the value. They offered me $ 75 for all the jewelry together. They only offered me $ 15 for a $ 300 ring. The owner even said he wasn’t sure the aquamarine I brought in was real, which I found a little offensive. I still have my purchase information on it but he said he didn’t need to see it because he’s a «professional.» I feel like a professional should he able to tell a real ring from a fake. I ended up rejecting the offer and taking the jewelry to a cash for gold store less than five minutes away where they melted down the gold instead. They gave me $ 120 and I got to keep the gemstones which I’ll be able to sell someplace else. I could tell pawn advantage was trying to take advantage of me as soon as I walked in. Id recommend taking your jewelry to a cash for gold shop and sell your instruments and electronics on craigslist. These people are scammers

THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. PERIOD.
So, in case you’re unaware, this is actually a pawn shop (hence the name «Pawn Advantage», but it probably should be «Pawn Disadvantage». You’ll find out why in a second), so i tried to leave some stuff here for an extra buck.
Well, i accidentally let it go overdue, so i called them up and asked if it was okay if i pay a little late. And they’re all like, «Sure, you can pay it a bit late.» But then, i try to hand in the money… And they reject it. WHAT. THE. FUDGE.
And after they said it was OK, they don’t take it. Seriously, THAT’S what they’re trying to pass off as a Pawn Shop?! Okay, maybe i’m being a little bit harsh. There is the possibility that the guy who replied didn’t know what he was talking about, but still, if that’s the case, he SHOULD’VE known it.
AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. In fact, i’m so mad at this shop, that i will not only boycott Pawn Advantage, i will boycott pawn shops in general. Oh yes, i went there. This place is just setting a horrible, HORRIBLE example.
