I went here yesterday to return a sweater I bought and had no receipt so I was dreading the usual eye roll etc. Michelle that works there was so sweet didn’t get the expected eye roll and was one of the most pleasant people. She helped me find a better fit and style I felt like I was shopping with a friend! What an amazing experience so kind, respectful and helpful. I’ll be back

Love this store and the staff :) always changing inventory and great sales… It’s a must swing in all the time whenever I get the chance! They also do a ton with the community and help when they can. Recently a family in the area lost their home to a fire… They helped with shoes and clothes as well as collected items there and set up a fund to help… Good, loving people!

Great selection of cloths at average to above average prices. The people here are very helpful. Don’t ever buy anything here that isn’t on sale, they have sales all the time so if you are paying full price you are making a mistake. They have sales for pretty much every day of the week and every reason. They have okay selection for Life is Good, Carhartt, Hardwear but the sweatshirts and ski wear stuff is pretty expensive and really not worth the extra price. They are pretty often limited on sizes and if you are not a big and tall or a child this sometimes can be hard to shop here. The people are very helpful, that is easily there best attribute, they are very good at convincing people to buy things, you would guess that they work on commission.

Pros: Great sales, clearance, & tent sales. Good selection of clothes & shoes for the whole family. Also accessories like jewelry, bags, sunglasses, hats, etc. Good brands: Prana, Mountain Hardwear, Carhartt, Columbia, «Life is Good» line, Keen, Merril, Carter’s(for kids), etc. They were out of an item in the size we needed so they had it sent over from another store & it was fast & easy! Cons: Certain brands are very pricey so I usually just wait for sales, clearance. They need to change the way their registers scan items. When I’ve held retail positions, it was never as complicated as it is here. Was here for a «tent event» so everything I bought was clearance. The register would recognize the clearance price but then everything was an additional 20% off that price which had to be put in by hand for EACH item. To make it more complicated, I had 3 coupons, 1 for 20% off one item, 1 for 15% off 1 item, &1 for 10% off 1 item. The cashier had to do them all by hand & she was new so she kept getting confused — not her fault, I would too. The registers should really«register» all of that automatically, at least the extra 20% off. Just something to keep in mind if you’re here for a sale and/or have coupons. The last few times we were there the service was terrible. I honestly don’t think we’ll make it a habit to keep shopping there. I went in once before Christmas looking for a few specific items & even though I was the ONLY customer in the store & they knew I was in there, I had to seek one of them out & interrupt their gab-fest to get help. No apology for ignoring me. I described what I was looking for & they didn’t have it but the woman still tried to sell me on something that was 100% NOT what I was looking for. I left empty-handed. I probably would have stayed & shopped the clearance racks for myself & ended up spending money anyway but I was so miffed that I was the only customer in the store yet I had to seek out help, they didn’t apologize, they acted as if I was interrupting their gabfest, & then the woman tried to sell me on an item that was not at all what I was looking for. The last time we were there, again, crappy service. Walked in looking for a few specific things. There were a handful of women & one guy working there, only a few customers in the store, and not one person approached us to ask us if we needed help even though it was pretty clear we did — we were looking at the shoes & they walked right by us helping someone else without calling another staff member over to help us or even acknowledging that we were there. Again, the women were all gabbing with each other, ignoring the paying customers. FINALLY after 10 minutes in the store someone finally asked us if we needed help — well, shouted at us from the counter, not even bothering to come over & ask us properly. Ridiculous. We bought a few smaller items & left. They also have a selection of DISGUSTING tee-shirts for men, horribly sexist, with sayings like«good wife» & cartoon drawings of a skinny wife in short shorts at the stove cooking while the fat husband sits on his butt with a table food of food in front of him & similarly revolting displays. THISISPETERBOROUGH, NEWHAMPSHIRE. We’re not a bunch of toothless hicks who would find this sexist garbage funny. It’s pathetic that they have that crap for sale. I doubt I’ll be back any time soon. This is a small chain & the only good deals they have are when something is on clearance or marked down or they have coupons out — their full-priced stuff is insanely expensive, especially the shoes. & given their crappy service, I’d rather shop at TJMaxx or Marshall’s for the«trendier», non-sports related stuff & get the same crappy service but for a lot less money.
