The service was horrible. The food was drenched in grease. The interior was tacky. I won’t be back.

Good, cheap drinks. Attentive bartenders. Fried food at a good value. Can’t beat it for a place on Pewaukee Lake. Jukebox, dartboard, couple pool tables, and enough room around to dance or spend time in groups.
Apparently first Wednesday of the month is lingerie night. They raffle off things like fuzzy handcuffs, magazines, etc. Weird if you ask me, cuz this place is pretty slow tonight.
I digress, if you have a choice of «dive» bars around here, go to Carlee’s.

I find it rather amusing that this place is classified as a dive bar, because it is far from being one. It is a very clean and well-​kept establishment. From what I understand, they had some remodeling done somewhat recently. It turned out very nicely. The staff is very friendly and makes sure you’re taken care of. They have a small but decent food menu and a nice bar selection.

Not a dive bar at all. The remodel is outstanding. The family that runs the tavern is outstanding! The bartenders are outstanding! The hospitality is outstanding!!! The food is outstanding!!! When back in Wisconsin I will be there to visit the whole crew for more than one beer!!!
